Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Saint-Yrieix-sur-Charente

We came as a group of 7 for the 2025 Comic Festival. We were greeted with a friendly welcome that immediately put us at ease. Accommodation is clean and tidy, the items made available are well indicated and suitable (towel, kitchen, dishwasher etc.). The setting is quiet and peaceful, less than a 10-minute walk to the bus stop. Thanks for your kindness!

Wow!! Marie's house was beautiful and in lovely, tranquil surroundings. We were a party of 5 and the house and amenities were perfect. It was great to have a swimming pool to cool off from the summer sun. We booked for a week at a late stage but from the first enquiry to Marie and throughout our time there Marie was always very quick and helpful to respond. We absolutely recommend this wonderful house and host, but hopefully there will still be the opportunity for us to book again when we are in the Charente.

Julie was very friendly. The apartment is very spacious with a very big garden. It was very quiet and I slept like a baby because the bed was great. I am definitely recommending the place to anyone who loves being close to nature. It is also very walkable from the apartment to downtown Angoulême (around 15 mins).

An absolutely stunning Airbnb, Debbie & Mike were amazing hosts! we weren’t lucky with the weather, so we couldn’t make use of the lovely pool and outdoor dining area. Would definitely come back and recommend to anyone looking to stay in the area. Thank you!

We spent a very pleasant week here. The flat is well located for touring the area and has good amenities in walking distance. The size is good and everything we needed was there. The secure parking was very useful. Sylvain was a great host, very responsive.

Everything is there! Worthy of a 4-star hotel. It's quiet and peaceful. The view of Angoulême is superb, the terrace and secure parking are real pluses. The neighborhood is excellent: train station and media library within 5 minutes' walk. Historic center 15 minutes' walk or a shuttle passes close to the building to take you there for free! Less than 5 minutes away: the river, its natural trail, a very pleasant sports course, the tavern with an excellent atmosphere. You will find all the local services as well as various restaurants and shops all very helpful. Great stay!
