Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Saint-Martin-d'Ardèche

Due to personal circumstances we had to rearrange this holiday 2 times, of which Remy was very understanding. We booked the villa based on how well the photos looked but were really not ready for just how much better the place was in reality! Le Magnanerie is tucked quietly away in a totally idyllic spot in a gorgeous old French hamlet, boasting the most impressive westerly views across the private pool of the Cévennes, with stunning sunsets. The covered outside area is spacious and perfect to escape the direct summer sun, and the thick stone building is naturally cool. Comfortably set over 3 pretty floors with portable air conditioning in the loft bedroom area. Kids bunk beds are perfectly placed and even though everything is wooden, nothing creaks. Local agent Deborah was very helpful and after driving from the UK, we were pleasantly surprised to have had our best family holiday to date here! We rarely return to holiday destinations, however we will certainly be coming back. Merci

Tout à été parfait ! David et eny sont très chaleureux, tout comme leur maison, super bonne énergie on s’y sent bien! J’ai adoré la décoration, beaucoup de goût et j’ai passé une superbe semaine dépaysement total… Mon chien était content aussi d avoir de l’espace avec les balades alentours sans prendre forcément la voiture. Great house for a family vacation! The house has all facilities you need and is located conveniently close to Suze-La-Rousse (small village with some nice shops and restaurant).

Wat een fantastische week hebben we gehad met 14 volwassenen! We waren er met onze familie en het huis bood echt alle ruimte om samen te genieten en je af en toe even terug te trekken. Het is ruim, stijlvol en supercomfortabel, met fijne slaapkamers, genoeg badkamers en gezellige hoekjes om samen te zitten. De buitenkeuken was ons favoriete plekje: koken, eten en borrelen in de avondzon. De omgeving is prachtig. We gingen kanoën, bezochten wijngaarden en grotten, maar eerlijk is eerlijk, het zwembad was zo lekker dat we vaak gewoon thuis bleven. En met een tafeltennistafel en jeu de boules baan hoef je je echt geen moment te vervelen. Eric en Yasmina zijn ontzettend vriendelijk en gastvrij en staan altijd klaar om te helpen. Francois, de eigenaar, is hartelijk en zorgt dat je je meteen welkom voelt. Alles klopte aan deze plek. Wij zouden zonder twijfel nog een keer terugkomen!

Nous venons de passer 15 jours et le beau temps était au rendez-vous, pour celles et ceux qui recherchent le calme et la quiétude c'est le lieu idéal ! Christine et Philippe sont accueillants, chaleureux, disponibles et soucieux du bien-être de leurs hôtes. Ils ont été de bons conseils pour les sites à visiter, à la fois dans le Gard et dans l'Ardèche qui est à peine à 10 km Nombreux lieux à visiter notamment le pont du Gard, le Pont d'Arc et les gorges de l'Ardèche en canoé, la grotte de l'Aven Orgnac, les cascades du Sautadet, les arènes de Nîmes ....) La maison est bien équipée et les commerces de proximité se trouvent à Barjac à 3km Nous avons passé un excellent séjour !

We truly enjoyed our stay, a perfect location to unwind and immerse yourself in nature. It was a nice surprise to find so many animals: a horse, super cute dogs and a cat. The garden is beautiful, you can walk around, go down to the river, enjoy quietness and pure nature all around. The road to the location is also very nice - like a hidden path through nature. It’s definitely a place to come back to, with an amazing energy. Even two nights restore you fully and feels like you stayed much longer than this. Not to mention a stylish and tastefully decorated house. You can find all you need. Amazing both side terraces - to enjoy a morning sun and a sunset.

C18 mill of great charm, surrounded by lovely garden, all restored and brought to life by Isabelle. Utterly peaceful. Within 10 minutes' drive from unspoilt village with excellent food shopping to provide for delicious meals in the garden, serenaded by nightingale and turtle dove. Bats and tuneful frogs in the evenings. Beautiful walks from the door along dusty lanes with verges full of wild flowers. Avignon, Orange, Glanum, Nimes, Camargue all within driveable distance. Isabelle could not have been more friendly and welcoming and we hope to visit again one day.

Excellent séjour, dans une belle maison au calme, avec un très beau jardin où se reposer. Maison très agréable à vivre, située dans un bel environnement, proche de très beaux villages à visiter, d’une rivière où se baigner et où l’on peut faire plein de randonnées. Nous avons enfin été très bien accueilli par Valérie, qui est d’une grand gentillesse.

Wunderbarer Urlaub in dieser ruhigen und sehr schönen Unterkunft! Das Gelände, der Pool und auch das Gebäude sind sehr gepflegt, man fühlt sich direkt wohl. Die Ausstattung ist tadellos und lässt wirklich keine Wünsche offen. Luigi war besonders zuvorkommend und hat auf Fragen immer sofort reagiert und ausgeholfen! Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!

Sehr schönes, architektonisch durchdachtes Haus, das alt und neu gelungen verbindet und durch seinen Vorbau perfekt den Mistral abhält. So ist es auch bei starkem Wind immer möglich, sich auf der Terrasse aufzuhalten und den schönen Blick über Garten und Weinberge zu genießen. Einen grandiosen Blick hat man außerdem durch die rückwärtigen bodentiefen Fenster in Richtung Cairanne! Bäder und Kücheneinrichtung sind modern und komfortabel. Alles war sehr sauber und gepflegt. Der Pool ist angenehm warm und durch seine außergewöhnliche Größe wirklich zum Schwimmen geeignet. Von gelegentlich vorbei fahrenden Traktoren abgesehen, herrscht die meiste Zeit eine himmlische Ruhe. Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt. La maison de ville proposée par Xavier est extraordinaire, c’est un lieu chargé d’histoire et parfaitement refait par le propriétaire ! Nous étions venu entre amis pour se retrouver, nous avons passé un séjour merveilleux ! Je vous recommande cette maison sans hésiter !

Dieses Haus ist ein echter Traum. Die Einrichtung ist mit viel Liebe zum Detail gestaltet – besonders die Holzbalken, Natursteinwände und die stylischen Strohleuchten haben sofort für Urlaubsfeeling gesorgt. Draußen ist es genauso schön wie drinnen: Der Garten ist gepflegt, der Pool perfekt zum Abkühlen. Lage ist ruhig, aber nicht abgeschieden – man ist schnell im nächsten Ort, hat aber absolute Privatsphäre. Das Haus ist top ausgestattet und super sauber gewesen. Alles war genauso wie auf den Bildern – wenn nicht sogar besser. Ich würde jederzeit wiederkommen. Uneingeschränkte Empfehlung!

Couldn’t have asked for a better house - ticked all the boxes and was conveniently close to Avignon without being in town. The house was spotless with all amenities thought about. Pool, loungers, outside dining was brilliant. Will definitely be back.

Alison and Costas are a dream team. Excellent hosts with a beautiful chateau for you to enjoy. Aline is great too. You’ll have a wonderful and relaxing stay. Great food and activity recommendations in the booklet. Be sure to visit all the markets you can, and try and eat at Le Flores- which was the perfect lazy lunch venue.

This place is a hidden gem for anyone looking to spend some time truly in nature.. the sound of birds in the morning and the sunsets are beautiful. A car is required as the place is hidden away but it’s definitely worth the extra mile for the experience. Florian has put together a lot of local recommendations and the morning fresh bread available on some days is a must! All in all we had a great time and recharged our batteries!

Une parfaite petite maison pour s’évader ! Idéalement bien placée dans les Cévennes, hyper calme, décorée avec beaucoup de goût et bien équipée. Avec en sus piscine et belle piste de pétanque … Et des hôtes disponibles, réactifs et très sympathiques !

Tres bel appartement tres propre et rien ne manque en terme de vaisselle draps serviettes ... nickel je recommande. En plus c est tres calme avec la terrasse

Excellent two week stay in Olivier’s lovely apartment. Beautifully renovated to give a great mix of modern and character. The stone walls are beautiful. Overall very spacious - two large bedrooms and two lovely bathrooms. Kitchen dining area enormous. Jacuzzi and roof terrace a bonus. There are lots of stairs as noted but very manageable. There is great safe and accessible bike storage and riding from the front door fabulous. Oliver was very responsive both before and after booking and check in. On request supplied us with a filter coffee machine. Barjac is a charming village close to the Ardeche and Cèze rivers for all manner of outdoor activities. Overall a fabulous stay, well recommended. We had a wonderful short stay here. We were greeted by Mauricette upon arrival and she was very flexible with our arrival time after a long drive from Lyon. We were given some lovely recommendations too. We found the place spotlessly clean, and the bottle of wine and coffee was a lovely gesture - thank you very much. There is a lovely private terrace on the first floor where we enjoyed breakfasts (bought locally), and peaceful evenings with a bottle of local wine. The air conditioning in the bedrooms was very much appreciated after days on the river/beach, and we fell in love with St Martin d'Ardeche. Thanks for a great stay, I'm sure we'll be back.

Un lieu incroyablement agréable, un environnement paisible et lumineux. C’était un vrai bonheur de séjourner dans la maison d’Alexandre : les chambres sont spacieuses et agréables, l’extérieur parfaitement entretenu et l’accueil d’Alexandre parfait, sachant qu’il a su faire prendre d’une grande flexibilité au niveau de l’horaire d’arrivée. Le village est particulièrement accueillant et beau. Encore merci pour ce très beau séjour !
