NATURE and RELAXATION AT THE FOOT OF THE MATTERHORN

In the upper Valtournenche, at the foot of the Matterhorn, surrounded by herds of grazing cows in summer and white snow in the winter months, my wife Enrica and I will be happy to welcome our guests to our apartment. Close to the towns of Valtournenche and Cervinia (about 3 km) but still isolated from the chaos, it is the ideal place to relax, observe enchanting views, listen to the silence of the mountain, play sports and take fantastic walks starting right from the house!

Batcheuy is a cabin, it's a mountain, it's family!

The cabin is located in the village called Batcheuy just over 600 meters above sea level, where there are only two cottages and an old cellar. The surrounding area consists of an apple orchard, meadows, other fruit trees and the woods. The road to access it is unpaved for the last 50 meters and ends at the property. The other cottage, very close but independent, is used by the family. In summer it is a cool place because it is surrounded by streams and close to the woods.

Il melo e la gatta is a three-story building from 1776. The renovation was completed in May 2017. The rooms are equipped with all comforts but have been furnished in such a way as to restore the warmth and the Aosta Valley mountain setting through antique furniture, fabrics and decorations.
