"CRYSTAL SUNRISE", walk or drive to ICW or Beach!

Our space is a newly remodeled two bedroom, one bathroom mid century home, all on ground level (two steps to get in and out). The new beach color paint scheme and beach themed accents let our guest know they are on holiday/ vacation at the beach. When you come back from a long day out soaking up the sun, playing in the sand, and site seeing, you have a quiet, clean, cool place to eat, shower, and rest. The living area/ den, has a brand new 55" smart TV with wireless wifi. We have a library of DVDs and Blu-ray disc, too include kid friendly movies. The bedrooms also have smart TVs, incase some want to watch something different. There is no cable TV included. With the smart TV you can access your NETFLIX, HULU, PRIME TV, whatever you may have a membership with. We supply Beach towels, bathroom towels, sheets, and bed spreads. This is a BIG PLUS because some homes don't offer this service. There is a private studio/ office/ Apartment attached that has no access for guest, only used by host. We stay in it on occasion. We do not bother the guest in the house unless we are needed. All that is ask of our guest is that they treat our home as though it was their home. Please respect and take care of all contents, so we can keep it as nice as it was upon arrival. Please remember there are guest coming in after you. Come stay at our peaceful guest suite where you can walk to the gorgeous beach in minutes! It’s only half a mile from the closest beach access as well as grocery stores, restaurants, cafes, ice cream shops, bars & parks. After a day relaxing at the beach or visiting local sites, you’ll love using our outdoor shower(w/ hot & cold water) & sitting outside in our private guest sitting area with your fav evening beverage. Quaint, bright and cozy lower level apartment. All basic amenities are included, as well as towels, linens and dishware. Located on a quiet dead end street. Short 10 minute walk to the beach over the Davis Canal. Private entrance with access to fenced in back yard with firepit, hammock. After a day at the beach you can rinse off in the private, enclosed outdoor shower. Enjoy your fresh catch of the day on the outdoor grill, and enjoy it outside if you like at the cozy outdoor dining nook.

Suite Life in St. James

The ground floor suite is adjacent to my condo. We call it a "lockout" because you have complete privacy and freedom to enter anytime. The space is like a hotel room with one queen bed and sleeper sofa with queen mattress. The washer and dryer are available on request; they are in the main condo at this address. The kitchen has a MW and small refrigerator. Our condo association pool is open May -September just a short walk away.

Donna was a great host from start to finish. Provided & offered more than we could’ve asked for! The place was about 2 minute drive to the beach & a 15 minute walk (with a toddler) Her place was clean, quiet and again, had everything we needed plus some! She was more than kind and offered lots of local recommendations. Would stay here again in the future!

Our stay at this lovely condo in St. James plantation was exactly what we needed during a meaningful time. We were in town to attend a celebration of life. Our host was incredibly compassionate, accommodating, and responsive, ensuring our stay was peaceful and stress-free. Her kindness and attention to detail made all the difference during the special time. We would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a great place to stay within St. James Plantation community near the marina and restaurant. The host went above and beyond our expectations!!

It was a great stay. Easy access in and out. Definitely needed maps to get around as the “plantation” was hard to navigate without. Pool was SUPER close and good temperature. Loved that they had bathrooms at the pool so you didn’t have to run in for bathroom breaks. Loved the posted signs about the local gator. The kids loved watching for him from the balcony and even named him! They also loved playing the offered games and the bunk beds. TVs worked great. Kitchen had everything needed and the fridge condiments saved us a trip. Jason was very responsive. Gate attendants were very nice and fast. Beds and couches were comfortable. Could have used more pillows. Kids LOVED the comfy blankets! Would definitely stay again! We all enjoyed our stay. Exceeded expectations! Only negative was I wish they had beach towels available for the beach. Also, would definitely dress up if planning to eat at the marina as we got some dirty looks in our after beach attire. Thank you Jason and family!

We loved staying here! The home was clean, organized, and had everything we needed. The screened in porch was perfect to hangout on and walking back and forth to the beach was super easy! Oak Island/this area is also just super calm and quiet; perfect for a little getaway.
