Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Saint Ives Bay

Fantastic place to stay. We came as family with a toddler as well grandparents and both families dogs and it was perfect for us. Easy to get to the beach and costal path. Stunning views. Great location for seeing things - loved getting the train from st. Erth to st. ives. The house itself was super practical. Loved the outside shower and cleaning facilities for us and the dogs after getting sandy on the beach. Lots of books that our toddler loved reading and playing with the toys. Just great. Richard was an amazing host and really accommodating to our needs. A very special holiday.

What an incredible 5 days, the balcony studio truly delivered. Breathtaking views over the harbour and surrounding areas topped off with luxury accommodation. The place was spotlessly cleaned and brilliantly maintained. Coffee tea and milk ready for arrival companies by welcome bubbly. Would highly recommend anyone to stay if you get the chance BEST SPOT IN ST IVES

The location is perfect right on the beach and you can walk into the Harbour in minutes, the only downside is parking but we managed to park on the island car park. Lovely views of the sea from the rooms and the place was clean, had everything we needed would definitely book again.

I spent a lovely few days at Alan's place in St. Ives! I'd highly recommend it for anyone who's looking for a central location close to the sea and so many great restaurants, shops, and cafes. St. Eia wine bar/cafe was such a treat and 1 minutes from our doorstop. The house itself was so charming and decorated beautifully.

We had a wonderful stay! The house was spotlessly clean and extremely comfortable. The hosts were incredibly responsive and helpful throughout our entire stay. The instructions provided were very clear, making everything easy and smooth from check-in to check-out. You can tell they pay great attention to every little detail, which made our experience even more enjoyable. We will definitely recommend this place to everyone and will absolutely come back again! A true home away from home. Well located to the centre of St Ives and Gillian went above and beyond for us with all the amenities we could have needed. The Villa was perfect, really clean and spacious. We loved our stay.

The apartment was clean, comfortable and spacious and centrally located. Geeta was kind and communicative and we enjoyed our stay there very much. St Ives is a beautiful town with sensational beaches.

What a great find! We’ve been visiting St Ives for many years and happened to notice Anna’s place when our daughter decided not to join us and we looked for somewhere new. Absolutely beautiful accommodation, which exceeded expectations and completely spotless. Everything you need for a totally relaxing stay including some special treats waiting for us on arrival. The photos matched the accommodation perfectly. Great kitchen, really comfortable bed, excellent bathroom and shower, great living room with a smart TV for when you need it. Easy to walk into town and back. It is uphill but from Porthmeor beach takes about 12 minutes to get up and 8 minutes to get down. So many restaurants and bars to choose from. Lovely walks and great scenery. If you’ve not been to St Ives before you must go, and if you’ve are looking for the perfect accommodation then this is it. Oh and did I mention the garage - great for parking the car and essential in St Ives as parking is not easy.

Excellent views of the beach and town. Easy walkable access to beach and local amenities. Apartment was modern and clean, with tasteful decor. It was ideal to have full use of the outside deck to enjoy sundowners. Information was provided on local eateries and sightseeing attractions in the area. Katherine was friendly and welcoming! Had a great stay, and would definitely visit again.

We had the most amazing weather for our stay. Two of us shared the apartment. We discovered various steps to take us to town. The cab to the flat from the station was only £6 and well worth it on the way up! We really enjoyed The Sloop Inn and a restaurant called Silko on the quay St Ives. The best coffee by far was Mount Zion. The flat was really quiet and the beds comfortable. The Spa was really great and the views from the Spa Hotel were great. Lunch there was v tasty and the staff were sympathetic.

Just back from a lovely stay at this cute apartment. We found it very easily and it was perfectly placed at the back of St Ives so easy to drive to and from without getting involved with tiny cobbled lanes. Still only a short walk (albeit up a hill) down to the town and harbour. . Liked that we could drop all our gear off before moving car to car park. Vanessa gave us good advice about where to park. There was only one fault which the owners can’t do anything about and didn’t worry us and that is the seagulls. They loved sitting on the roof and then splattering the back yard. There is a hose and brush but we were always out and about so never bothered to sit there. Would definitely like to stay again.

Lisa’s place was so charming and comfortable. The view was amazing! We loved eating outside after making meals in the fully, well equipped kitchen. We also loved sitting in the pretty sunroom. It was a quick walk to the train which took us into St Ives. Also a short but steep walk to the beautiful beach, just bring your own beach towels, chairs or mat because none are provided. Lisa left us a nice bottle of wine and offered to let us check in early once the cleaning was done. We had a very relaxing stay.

Jane’s flat on the harbour was absolutely perfect for what we needed. Was in easy walking distance of carparks, beaches and restaurants. It was really easy to find with Jane’s instructions ahead of checkin. I would definitely return back to the flat in the future.

We had a lovely week in Emily & Matt's flat. We liked that you can walk into town but also to Fistral beach & quieter areas. Great views - I enjoyed relaxing, reading in the bay window. I treated myself to swim & breakfast at Headland hotel (special offer).

Lovely apartment with fabulous views over Carbis Bay and St Ives. Everything that we needed for a restful and relaxing holiday, very tastefully fitted out, and well appointed place to stay. Excellent séjour dans cet appartement du centre de St Ives. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié la présence de deux salles de bain. Très jolies chambres ensoleillées, cuisine très bien équipée, et adorable bowindow. Nous reviendrons bien volontiers!

Jenny was extremely helpful and the apartment was amazing as the first time we stayed, we can't wait to come back already!

The cottage was excellent. It was spacious and very well laid out. It was super clean and Hannah had left fresh flowers, biscuits tea and coffee for our arrival. It had a lovely garden with table and chairs for when the sun shone. The heating system and hot water worked extremely well for when it was cold and wet. The cottage is located up the hill out of St Ives. We used to walk down which was 15mins max and get a taxi from the rank outside the cinema on the way back which cost a fiver….. no brainer 😜 I would certainly recommend Hannah’s cottage and I’m sure we will go back at sometime in the future. Sehr schöne Wohnung, haben uns gleich wie zu Hause gefühlt. Tolle Bus und Bahnverbindungen, sodass man das Auto auch mal stehen lassen kann!!

This particular apartment had a most memorable deck and view just like the picture. We cherished sitting on deck and watching the beach, waves and people every morning and evening. The cool ocean breeze was also very nice for June as the weather was heating up elsewhere in UK. I f the weather is good, guests are in for a real treat staying here. Room has everything you need and good wifi even on the deck. Would absolutely stay here again if ever in the area!

My husband and I and our adult daughter had 3 wonderful days at Riverview. The photos and description on the Airbnb site are accurate but don’t really do it justice. The apartment is modern, bright with every room having a stunning view. The balcony is huge and it is bathed in sunlight up until about midday. It was a pleasure sitting on the deck having Bkfst or sitting in the evening with a drink enjoying the view and sounds of the birds. There is an allocated off road carpark. The apartment is below road level so there is a flight of stairs to go down, which could be an issue for anyone with mobility issues. The owners of the apartment live in the apartment above. We never heard them walking around. We did meet them on the street and they are an extremely friendly couple. Highly recommend the walking tour “Falmouth Uncovered” with Will. Highly informative and entertaining. Will is a real character and was the highlight of our day in Falmouth. Highly recommend “Riverview”.
