We had 3 very nice days with family 4. The apartment is very comfortable and well appointed, the balneo pool area downstairs is superb, with its Gard stone kitchen /summer lounge. We treasure this address for a new visit to Sommieres country.

A unique, memorable experience, a place you want to come back to. The hamlet is surrounded by nature, in an incredible setting. The Cevennes forest is very wild and there are many animals to observe. We had an unforgettable stay in this charming old barn. The house, modern and perfectly equipped, is nestled in the middle of nature, offering a peaceful and refreshing setting. Our host Hervé is incredibly kind, always available to advise us and make our stay even more enjoyable. We highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a relaxing and authentic getaway. What a beautiful garden! And the pool was much appreciated, in these beautiful days. The whole is atypical: the bedrooms (2 out of 3 are equipped with bathroom and toilet), the living room, the kitchen-dining room are in three different places (but very close to each other). So it's not a house, strictly speaking, but a set of places, all extremely pleasant. If you had to find a fault: one of the three bedrooms, intended for children, does not have a bathroom. It might bother some people, but not us. Another pleasant point: a petanque court, and many small details that show that the hosts pay great attention to visitors.

The house is just amazing! It's big and comfortable, has any kitchenware you could ever need to prepare any dinner imaginable and even more! The garden is simply beautiful, our cat was beyond happy to explore every corner of it. We didn't use the swimming pool because it was already too cold to swim, but it adds to the beauty of the garden and we just enjoyed sitting by it in the sun. Thank you Jean-Philippe and Brigitte, for this amazing place. We will be happy to return some day!

A corner of heaven! I was looking for the charm of old stones, nature, the tree-lined garden and the functionality of a modern home, I was captivated, it was perfect! We stayed with our 2 children aged 6 and 8, the dream for them. I was afraid that the pool would be too small but not at all, it is bigger than in the photos, they had fun there for 5 days without getting tired. I often rent on Airbnb and rarely find gems like this home.

We had a great time in this beautiful villa. It has all the necessary equipment. Thanks to the air conditioning, the interior of the house (including the bedrooms) stays cool so it's very pleasant for sleeping. Nice terrace with a pool. Photos match reality. Justine hosted us very well. She was responsive by message during the stay when we had any questions. We recommend this house.

Very nice stay between friends at Jean-Pierre's, we LOVED the place! A green setting lost in the middle of nowhere (at the end of a small narrow road that climbs well for 15 min, ensuring a beautiful change of scenery). Sublime terrace and shaded garden. The farmhouse is almost the only dwelling in the hamlet! As indicated in the listing, plan ahead of time because there are no nearby businesses. Jean-Pierre is very kind, available and accommodating. It was a real pleasure, thank you again!

I cannot say enough good things about our stay. We traveled with a toddler and twin infants under 1 year old. The place was clean, beautiful, and well equipped. They were very accommodating and even arranged for us to have an extra crib for our second twin. The house is quiet, private, and in a safe place; however we were still just a 5 minute walk into town for all the restaurants and activities. Check in was a breeze. Everything was very well explained. The host was always available and answered questions very quickly. I feel very lucky to have chosen this place for our stay in Uzes. Merci!

What a stunning apartment in a perfect position within historic Uzès. The apartment itself oozes character and charm and it was spotlessly clean, clearly well managed and with everything that was required for our stay. Madame Cala was flexible with our arrival time for which we are grateful and she was just a phone call/text away had we needed anything (which we didn’t). We enjoyed many hours wandering the medieval streets of Uzès as well as exploring further afield within the Occitanie region which is stunning. We are so glad we found this beautiful place to stay and would highly recommend this apartment and Madame Cala.

We were very satisfied - less than a 5-minute walk to Place d'Herbes. Everything is clean, tasteful and functional. I'd come back anytime, price ok compared to other accommodations.
