We 100% recommend the place. We felt very comfortable. Louisa and her family are great hosts. The location was just perfect for us. Supermarket, restaurants and the train station were within walking distance. We will definitely be happy to come back.

Le Carpe Diem was a great place to stay for my climbing trip to Fontainebleau! The home was comfortable and cozy. It is a short walk to the center of Milly-la-Forêt, which has a nice selection of shops and patisseries. Nadège was helpful when I checked in and throughout my stay. I hope to make it back soon!

Very successful stay. The house is superb and tastefully and finely decorated. Quiet with a very nice exterior. Great place to discover the region. I would highly recommend it.

Very friendly welcome, flexibility to arrive and leave, very cozy accommodation, very clean, tastefully refurbished! Only small thing to consider that is not in the description, stairs not suitable for children, last step a space from the floor. But everything else was really perfect!!

Very pleasant stay and house large enough to accommodate more than 10 people, with 5 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms - ideal for large gatherings of family and friends. Plus, a very special atmosphere with horses right next door. Thank you very much to Yannick for hosting us and for his availability.

We were there for 3 nights. It was perfect: very good welcome - good bedding - it had everything you needed in the house - the view of the Seine from the stay is really magnificent - great calm, apart from the birds.... which are obviously a great pleasure. However, the leather couch isn't too comfortable, but we'll be back. Thanks to Frédéric.

Overall a wonderful place to stay, especially for two couples/four travelers. Excellent communication throughout the whole process. Everything you need is supplied in the kitchen- a couple of groceries stores close by. Really enjoyed hanging out in the living room during down time. If you need to do any work, the wifi is good. Big dining table if needed. Lots of cafe/ restaurant options within just a few blocks, many of which are ethnic. Note that if you leave really early morning (or get home late evening) the Passage gate is locked. To leave the flat, you will have to take the elevator to the second floor and then take the stairs down to the green door exit. The person who checks you in will explain how all the entryways work. No big complaints, but if you’re used to heftier pillows, that’s not always the case in Paris. Hotel prior to Airbnb also had thin pillows. Definitely enjoyed our stay and would recommend highly!

We lived our stay in the apartment. Great location to the metro line 4 which connects all around Paris. Bed was firm but not too firm, pillows were great for euro style. Close to everything you need! The apartment was super clean and comfortable. Starbucks is across the street if you are not geared up for 1/2 oz pure diesel fuel like most places. Supermarket across the street and close by liquor available. There’s a busy pizza shop next to the apartment, but it is not too loud at all. If I had one recommendation, I would say that there common area lights should stay lit for longer. They are on motion sensors and go off very quickly so you can find yourself in the dark on a very tricky set of steps, so be careful with that. I would certainly stay here again, and most likely would after learning how to navigate the city from this location. The bottle of champagne and chocolate and ice cream was a very nice touch. First class all the way.

It's so tempting to not give this place the review it deserves because I want it to be available for all my future visits to Paris, but Anne & Jean-Luc absolutely deserve all the accolades. This apartment is the quintessential Parisienne apartment you always imagined living it. Tucked away and quite but convenient to everything you want to see. Well appointed including decor imbued with family and building history but without feeling fragile or cluttered. Anne was incredibly responsive and accommodating. She offered luggage storage and provided her own family items to make sure my toddler felt at home. We truly felt at home, and my group regularly proclaimed it our favorite AirBNB we'd ever stayed at--we're already looking forward to future stays here. Thank you, Anne & Jean-Luc for the magical experience.

Many thanks to Olivier! His place was just as described and in a great neighborhood. Two doors one way fantastic boulangerie; two doors the other way amazing gelato; and several great restaurants in between. Easy walk to two metro stations to get almost anywhere we wanted to go. Merci beaucoup!

My family of 4 adults and one child spent 3 nights at Patrick’s apartment and found it to be so centrally located (in an upscale area) that we could easily get to many of the sites we wanted to see during our stay. Just a few steps from the door, we walked along the Seine, viewed the Eiffel Tower, visited Grand Palais and Petit Palais, and enjoyed several nice cafes and restaurants. The apartment is even more luxurious than the website description and photos. Lovely balcony, too. The neighborhood and apartment are very safe and secure. The host Patrick and manager Badr responded quickly to every inquiry and provided excellent recommendations. Badr even surprised us with a bottle of Champagne to celebrate our 50th anniversary. I have stayed in a couple other areas of Paris in the past. This has been the best!

Absolutely amaaazing! Alexis was incredibly quick to respond to any questions we had and personally welcomed us when we arrived, which made us feel right at home. The apartment was clean, spacious, and in the perfect location. I’m usually a little hesitant to choose an Airbnb over a hotel, but this stay completely exceeded our expectations. Great place to stay for access to the forest. Easy to find and check in was easy. Host was very quick to respond to queries and was very helpful. Unfortunately we arrived before the pool was open but we would have used it if we could and it were a bit warmer. Rooms were clean and a good size. Kitchen is a little small but we managed to cook for us all okay. Regret not using the sauna but amazing that it were there.
