Need to recharge? Treat yourself to a moment of calm in our small, recently refurbished, simple and friendly cabin, waterfalls and marked trails. Ideally located 10 minutes from Lake Bariousses, 15 minutes from Treignac and 30 minutes from Lake Vassivière; you can enjoy on-site tennis activities, walks in the forest or along the river, at no extra cost. You can also fish in the pond (hours and rates on carpodrome.fr).

The accommodation is 2 minutes from the town of Gouzon (supermarket, pharmacy, Tuesday morning market, doctor...), 20 minutes from Guéret and 30 minutes from Montluçon via the N145.

The gite is a detached, authentic cottage with its own entrance and private terrace and fantastic views over the Creuse landscape. The terrace is high with undisturbed sunset views and spectacular cloudy skies. Very quiet location on a dead end road. Lovely place to recover from everyday hustle and bustle for a week, cocooning for the weekend or a comfortable stay while looking for a home in France.

Four hens have arrived in the cottage's hen house and we offer 2 eggs per person for any reservation, if the hens want to give us eggs!!
