We met with friends around a theatrical show in Vezelay and finding your cottage at the last minute was perfect

Warm welcome. Only French-speaking, but the gentleman rode with me to get the car to a good parking space. Too bad the 2nd bed wasn't made. But we found bedding in the drawer. Delightful beds. slept well. And enjoyed the silence in the town and the beautiful cathedral within walking distance. Gite is halfway up the slope you have to climb when you arrive. Definitely recommended.

The house was super great, if you like these typical old houses, then this house is just right. Robert is a great person, he has great ideas if something is missing, he gives good tips for excursions in the area and is also just a super helpful host, just like his wife! The surroundings are very nice, but the demands on activities are very different. Personally, I rode my bike a little through the woods and we walked to surrounding old churches. However, it is otherwise not soooo exciting in the surrounding area. Old churches, old walls, those who like these things, of course, have a relatively large selection. With small children, at least in bad weather, the selection is rather small. Overall, a stay there is worthwhile if it takes place in good weather and you know how to do a lot with yourself if necessary. Otherwise, the house also offers beautiful opportunities for romantic time by the fire!

Beautiful little house in a village close to Avallon. The house is very well-equipped and has a lot of charm. Sylvie and Patrick were lovely. They struggled to find us a nurse my husband needed. We had a more than pleasant stay at Usy despite mixed weather. We recommend eyes closed.
