Set in the countryside, 4 kilometers from Condat and adjoining our home, is our Cantal farmhouse known as a longère. Thick stone walls, wooden beams, large living room with traditional fire place and log burner, internet tv, two bedrooms, bathroom, and fitted kitchen. Enjoy sitting by a roaring log fire in the winter or in the shade of the old lime tree with a glass of wine enjoying the spectacular views in the summer. Whatever the time of year, you’ll enjoy the Longère’s comfort and charm.

At an altitude of 1200 meters, on a mountain ridge in the middle of the volcanic Cantal Mountains, you wake up to the sound of cows and birdsong. No traffic noise — just open air and sweeping views over the valley. From the house, you can directly step onto hiking trails towards the Puy Mary. Inside, a fully equipped kitchen, two bedrooms with box spring beds, and a pellet stove await for the cool mountain evenings. Ideal for those who really want to get away from the hustle and bustle.

Thanks to its central location, the bakery, butcher shop, supermarkets, bars, etc. are within walking distance. The house has 2 bedrooms with double beds and one bedroom with a 3-level bunk bed. Our home is designed for a family with children, comfortable for a couple. - We offer a living room: Table for meals, Mini bar, Coffee maker, kettle. - No kitchen. - Internet - Toilet and shower. - 2 Beds (1600 x 2000) - Folding sofa (1100 x 1900) - Only dogs are allowed: We ask for an extra €15 per stay and per dog not exceeding 40 cm at the withers, beyond this size the extra is €30. We limit the number of these companions to two.
