Grächen is a wonderful, family-friendly mountain village. In every season you can enjoy the area in a sporty manner or quite comfortably from the magnificent nature. Hiking, cycling, skiing, climbing,... Children also enjoy hiking next to the 'Suonen' [historic irrigation channels], playing on the Hannigalp or climbing in the Robis playground. You don't even need the car here. But there are also great excursions: Zermatt, Saas-fee, the longest suspension bridge, Sion, Leukerbad... even Italy is not far away.

Central apartment in a quiet location in Baltschieder

The apartment is located on the first floor in a 2-family house and is ideal for 2 -3 people (double bed and sofa bed). The village of Baltschieder is very centrally located. The apartment is located in the back of Baltschieder. The neighborhood is very quiet with little traffic. The nearest train station (Visp) is approx. 5 minutes by car. The public transport connections are also very good. Various tourist resorts such as Zermatt, Saas-Fee and the Aletsch region are very good and easy to reach.

Trudi’s Terrace lies a steep 250m walk up from the taxi drop- off point. We welcome guests from all around the world to experience the enigma that is the Matterhorn. Trudi’s Terrace has three cosy, comfortable, and stylish bedrooms. We have 2 modern bathrooms. Our kitchen is the heart of our apartment. It’s where we gather to cook, eat and watch Netflix. Note Zermatt is in the middle of a building boom. Unfortunately the view has been temporarily altered with the erection of a crane.

Visperterminen can be reached from Visp by public transport or private car in approx. 20 minutes. The cozy, modernly equipped apartment "Bietschornblick" in the Heid village of Visperterminen, with magnificent views of the Valais mountains, accommodates two people. My accommodation is close to family-friendly activities. You'll love my place because of the location. Here in the Saas Valley, adults must pay CHF 10.5 and children between the ages of 6 and 16 must pay CHF 5.25 in summer. At this price, all buses in the valley and practically all mountain railways can be used free of charge. In winter, the tourist tax costs 7 Fr. for adults and children pay 3.75 Fr. In this price the ski bus is free in winter.
