Nice walking/running paths with beautiful trees and picnic spots, only a 5 minute drive or 10 minute walk away from the house!
To walk there, Go south on the street in front of our house, 54th St. Turn left on Chollas Station and you will see a recreational area gate. You can take a nice walk or hike over there amongst the trees. :)

So beautiful and peaceful. Meditate with the plants, ocean views and koi ponds. I think they are closed on Mondays. It’s a 25-30 minute drive north to a different beach area, moonlight beach. Lots of restaurants and shops in surrounding areas!

This is an old feel place with the best PIE. Get pie there and enjoy walking around the shops. It’s about an hour drive away, but a fun day trip. Not near the beaches at all. You can also camp there or arrange a horse ride.
