  • We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Maria's Pod. Maria was very accomodating throughout, from arranging check-in, to showing us around the Pod, to meeting us when checking out. The place itself was lovely and in immaculate condition. It has everything you need for a night away. The wood fire that was prepared and ready to light on arrival was a lovely touch and really helped us enjoyed our evening. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again if we find ourselves in that part of the country again.

  • We are just back from a short stay at the Pod, we enjoyed our stay that much we even extended it by another night! The Pod is a super place to stay with a beautiful view of the countryside. It was so well equipped and Maria had some lovely little extra thoughtful touches to make our stay even more memorable. The Pod is finished to an exceptionally high standard and it is evident that a lot of time and money has been put into it to make it as comfortable for guests as possible. We found it really cozy & relaxing. It has everything we needed and was completely spotless. • We stayed the night from Galway to Delhi. It was an old-fashioned cottage, but I was able to spend comfortably without feeling the age. Kitchen and cooking utensils are also available so you can buy what you want to eat at a nearby farmers market and cook it, so you can spend your time living while traveling

    Takako2020-01-24T00:00:00Z
  • Martel’s cottage is a cosy, beautiful ‘home from home’. A complete gem of a place in our wee country. There are many things to see and do close by. We enjoyed the Big Dog walk and Cladagh Glen with our dogs. The cottage itself is very relaxing with lots of little touches left by the owners and a large, creative outdoor space. This was our second stay here and we will be back again for sure!

We travelled with our 2 children and Rebecca had a travel cot arranged, a playmat for them, a stair gate up, a high chair and a safety gate around the fire! Thank you for going the extra mile for us, we will be back :)

  • We had a very relaxing weekend in Ian-Elaine's picturesque and cosy cottage. They were very accommodating regarding our dog and had the fire lit awaiting our arrival. The later checkout at 11.00 was also much appreciated. Just to be aware the nearest shop is 8min drive, so if you want to settle in right away be organised and bring all the essentials with you i.e. peat for the fire, milk, shower gel, etc. Would definitely recommend for a short getaway.

    Alan2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • My partner and I had a lovely time in this very cosy cottage. The fire and underfloor heating meant it stayed wonderfully warm even on a wet stormy weekend in February. Ian’s welcome was great and helped us settle in on arrival. Ideal location to explore Enniskillen and around Fermanagh & Cavan. Highly recommended!

    Damien2020-02-10T00:00:00Z
  • Beautiful cottage. Perfect for our winter break. So cosy with the underfloor heating and stove which Ian kindly had lit for us on arrival. Super hosts, Elaine had even baked some goodies and they had went to the bother of putting a Christmas tree up. The cottage was absolutely spotless. Even the baby’s high chair was gleaming and I’m usually fussy about using others! Thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

  • This cottage is just what you need to escape from the rat race for a few days. The stress just melts away as you cross the threshold of this beautifully restored property. It is exactly how it looks in the pictures... if not better. So many little touches make this a very special place. Such a range of places to visit on your doorstep if that's what you want to do, but you might be happy to relax with a book in front of the fire. Just need to work out when (not if) we will be back!

  • Staying at Suzie's is like going home to your Mammy. She is so thoughtful and kind. A super host.

    Deardriu2019-01-01T00:00:00Z
  • Suzie and her family have been amazing hosts, they literally went through a storm just to check on us, in case we needed something. We had an amazing stay! Suzie and her family are very nice people, who went above and beyond! For the check in Suzie picked us up in the nearby village and showed us where the cottage was located. The cottage was filled with some groceries, which was very nice after our travels. There was enough wood and turf to keep us nice and cozy for more than a month. During our stay we had good communication and they came by if we needed something like picking up garbage, or help with the heating system. They also helped us with all our questions regarding Ireland and local areas. The surroundings are very beautiful, and very peaceful and quiet. Would recommend this to everybody!

    Maurits2018-09-29T00:00:00Z
  • What a wonderfull cottage with a even more wonderfull host. Suzie was the best host we have came across and we have had a few good ones. So thoughtfull and here home is such a relaxing place with all you need in a great location. Staying here is a must if you want to visit Fermanagh etc being just a few miles over the border. Thanks to Suzie and see you again. 5 Stars

    Richard2018-08-26T00:00:00Z
  • Highly recommended and very quiet and cozy place. They are lovely

    Alberto2018-08-23T00:00:00Z
  • Thank you so much for our wonderful stay in your cottage, from the minute we arrived we were made so welcome, Suzie is so nice and really went to a lot of trouble with the cottage and all it’s little touches, each touch was very much appreciated eg. some lovely scones left for us, turf and sticks ready in the fire for us to light, fresh flowers on the table, dvds for the kids to watch, books left on the bookcase for a browse if we wanted, night lights left in kids bedrooms, etc, there was absolutely everything we needed for a wonderful holiday, so very thoughtful, the area is beautiful and scenic with lots of things to do nearby, also had some lovely neighbours of sheep and goats! we loved our stay and will definitely be back again very soon, miss the cozy cottage already! Oh and the very comfortable master bed! Thank you Suzie! See you soon

    Sharon2018-08-18T00:00:00Z
  • Can only reiterate the previous review. Suzie is a fantastic host, so attentive & even bought our kids little activities just for them! She goes above and beyond! We came here as a family as a base for Marble Arch caves & stairway to heaven, which the cottage was ideal for, though the setting of the cottage is so rural and quantisentually Irish making it even more of a wee gem!! We were lucky enough to watch a meteorite shower whilst staying here too, it added to fab memories at Riverside Cottage! Well worth a stay & we would definitely return!!

    Stacey2018-08-12T00:00:00Z
  • This was our favourite Airbnb ever (& we have stayed in a lot of places!) We were so sad to leave. Everything was absolutely perfect for us, from how welcoming Suzie was to us, (a nicer, more kind & genuinely welcoming person you are unlikely to ever meet) how well Suzie provided for us (the cottage had everything we needed & more), the location on a mountain by a river, the sheep, goat & friendly little pony providing a lovely pastoral backdrop. Everything! We will definitely be recommending it to other friends & already cannot wait to come back. A truly wonderful, 100% rural Irish experience.

Nestled at the foot of the Cuilcagh Mountains and in beautiful unspoiled West Cavan lies Glendurragh House B&B. Located in a quiet country boreen, yet only 15 minutes from busy towns. The peace and tranquillity are only interrupted by the birds singing and the occasional tractor.
Glendurragh House began life as an old farmhouse dating back to the 1920's. The stone was reused to form the round tower & the trees that were knocked were recycled to form the exposed timber work inside the home.

Thanks to you and Annette for your great hospitality. Would love to come back again. This place is so beautiful - has a great view, terrific fireplace, was so warm in winter, privacy, all amenities you could want plus some special gifts for us on arrival. Highly recommended.

Gorteen House is a country mansion with magnificent mountain views to the front and back of property. Gorteen House is just 2 miles off the border of Northern Ireland located within the Unesco Geopark of Marble Arch Caves. It is the ideal location to explore this beautiful part of Ireland. The island town of Enniskillen is just a short drive. Cuilcagh Mountain (Stairway to Heaven), Marble Arch Caves and Florence Court are just a few miles away. Indoor Swimming Pool is opening mid July 2018
Very homely large country manor. Perfect for couples, families and large groups. Gorteen House was purchased in December 2015 after standing empty for eight years. Although the building itself was in not too bad a shape all the bathrooms, kitchens and heating had been removed along with the swimming pool. Renovations are ongoing but doesn't affect the holiday apartments.
Close to Stairway to Heaven and Marble Arch Caves. Beautiful Enniskillen and Lough Erne

This beautiful holiday home, just 15 minutes from Enniskillen is situated 1 mile from Upper Lough Erne and 1.5 miles from Derrylin village. The property is close to all of the wonderful attractions that Fermanagh has to offer including, Cuilcagh mountain, Marble Arch caves, 3 Castles, Lough Erne Golf Resort etc.. The house is situated on our farm, with stunning country views all around. You can also enjoy the cows and sheep. The house is very cosy, modern and welcoming, a real home from home.
The barn has an old, unusual exterior, but has a substantial, modern, welcoming interior. It has a kitchen, living room/dining area, 2 good sized bed rooms and 2 shower rooms. The living room has a wood burning stove and sticks can be provided from our farm. The barn has a very cosy, welcoming feel - a real home from home!!
You will have a view of neighbouring houses but all a very comfortable distance away so guest privacy is at maximum. The barn is less than 1 mile from the main Dublin to Enniskillen road so it is very accessible and easy to find. The barn is very unique, peaceful and quirky, giving guests a real opportunity to get away from the hustle and bustle of every day life, yet you are only a very short distance from everything that Fermanagh Tourism has to offer you (all within approximately 13 miles).
  • We have had a wonderful few days of a break in this lovely holiday home. It is in a great location - quiet & peaceful with beautiful views & yet close to the tourist attractions in Co Fermanagh. Claire is a super host - extremely friendly & helpful - ensuring that everything is perfect for her guests. The house itself is excellent - comfortable seating, good sized bedrooms, excellent kitchen, cosy wood burning stove for colder evenings - and everything is spotlessly clean. I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a relaxing stay in a beautiful part of N Ireland. We will definitely return!

Lxurious spacious modern 3 bedroom cottage(holiday home)with panoramic views of Lough Erne with access to a private jetty renowned for its superb course fishing and boating (boat hire available upon request) Prime location for relaxing getaways, a quiet and peaceful setting with uninterrupted Lough views yet only 5 minutes away from Lisnaskea and 20 minutes from Ennislillen. ️Award winning ‘Watermill Restaurant’ only two minute walk away, and the share discovery village 5 minutes drive.

  • 50 Kilmore Quay is a lovely and spacious accommodation with a lovely cottage feel. The living, dining and kitchen area is arranged so that the whole space flows beautifully. The heating is effective giving the rooms a cosy feel despite all floors being either tiled or laminate. The hard floors meant that there was no stress when arriving home with wet shoes as a quick mop meant that everything remained neat and clean. There is wi-fi which is adequate but not super fast but perhaps that’s an advantage by forcing us off electronic devices so we can appreciate more fully the natural delights of the fantastic Lough Erne area. The cottage is set in a little cul-de-sac of similar cottages. The award winning Watermill Restaurant is a close neighbour being only 2 minutes walk away.

    Norah2019-09-05T00:00:00Z
  • Fantastic spacious home, had everything we needed and close to a jetty for those making use of their boat. Quiet and relaxing spot . Great host.

  • We stayed in Rachels place in August 2019, a family with four teenagers. The house was perfect. Plenty of room, sparkling clean will all amenities provided. Within five mins there is the Share activity center - with plenty of land and water based activities, the nearest village is a five min drive. The Watermill restaurant two minutes walk away on site is a lovely plus, as are the beautiful peaceful surroundings. There are plenty of walks, trails, boat hire, and historic visitor experience options, all nearby. Rachel responded within minutes to any questions we had. Would highly recommend for families couples or groups.

  • 50 Kilmore Quay was a great place to spend a few days in Fermanagh. The house is spacious and well very  appointed and in a beautiful location close to the lough shore. The Watermill Restaurant on its doorstep was a big plus. It looks like it belongs in Hobbition! I think its earlybird menu was very good value. Seek out the short waterside path that leads from the cottage to the restaurant and Kilmore Quay. The cottage was a good base for visiting Enniskillen and Castle Coole and especially the Crom Estate which was great place to be on a beautiful sunny  day. I also strayed over the Irish border to visit the Cavan Burren Park. A short (uphill) walk from the car park there will take you to a memorable panoramic viewpoint over the surrounding country. I would certainly be happy to return to Kilmore Quay as a base for furher exploration of Co. Fermanagh. Thank you, Rachel :-)

Herds House was built in the early 1800s and is a listed building. In April 2019 we were delighted to be nominated for the Andrew Llyodd Webber Angel Heritage award. This award formally recognises the achievements and dedication of individuals who show passion and commitment in conserving and restoring local historic buildings.
Brief history of Herds House It was originally built for Herds men tending sheep and cattle on the surrounding estate. We bought the property in 2017 and have been restoring it since. Today it is a cosy home filled with character and charm. Herds house is set on a quiet little road approx 1 mile from the picturesque twin villages of Belcoo and Blacklion
1 mile from belcoo/blacklion villages. Beautiful local restaurants /pubs. Treat yourself to a meal at the award winning Mc Nean bistro ran by local but famous chef Nevin Maguire. Booking details can be found on their website booking Is essential. The UNESCO Marble Arch Geopark surrounds the villages of Belcoo and Blacklion. The popular legnabrocky trail or ' Stairway to Heaven' is a 10 minute drive away. Marble arch caves, Claddagh Glen, The Burren are of similar distance. Florencecourt house and gardens are also close by. The house and gardens are splendid. Great for walking and cycling. Enjoy their house tour . Or simply relax and enjoy a coffee in their beautiful coffee shop. You will never be swamped with crowds of people. Its a magical place to stop and take a breath. Each season bringing its own beauty. A must visit. You wont be disappointed. Enniskillen town is approx. 10 miles away with loads to see and do.
  • Lovely house, immaculately clean and cosy. We would like to return someday. Local highlights: Enniskillen Castle, Pollnagollum Waterfall, The Happiness Trap Café

  • Herds house is a modern house on the inside that maintains a traditional style on the outside. Lovely features including a solid fuel stove. A 5 minute drive to all required facilities (shop, bar, restaurant, off licence, etc) and only a 10 minute drive to the cuillcagh boardwalk. Liz was a great host that was quick to respond to our questions with lots of good suggestions. She created a very welcoming atmosphere.

  • Liz's house is the best Air bnb experience I have had. The house was beautiful and clean. It is in a great location close to local towns and the stairway to Heaven walk which my group did on our stay. Check in and out was very easy and made our stay very enjoyable. Loved this house!

  • Gorgeous cottage!! We just loved our stay here from the stunning kitchen to the comfy sofa and fireplace and the lovely beds! Great location just outside Enniskillen and close to Florence Court and some great walks! We wanted a place to get away from the city and relax and were able to do that easily. We cooked, went for walks and sat watching TV Infront of the fire. Liz was really responsive and everything was perfect. Tip 1: don't follow Google maps, just the owners instructions and if going at night go a little further up the road past a barn on the left. Tip 2: try MacNeans it's an amazing restaurant, other reviews have mentioned it and Liz recommends. It's close to the cottage and amazing. Pricier than average but well worth it. Overall a definite recommendation from me. Thanks Liz.

We were greeted by a friendly donkey at the fence in the back yard and some sheep close by in the pasture. Helen had left us some fresh homemade bread and stopped by later for a chat and to leave us with some fresh eggs and apple pie. A great host!

  • I cannot recommend Helen and Robert's little cottage highly enough. It is cosy, comfortable and quaint! We spent our Christmas there - we are from South Africa, so unused to cooked Christmas meals and cold weather! Helen actually cooked our turkey for us AND steamed the pud AND did the roast taties! The cottage was beautifully decorated for Christmas and every moment was perfect. If you are hesitating at all about booking this cottage STOP right now and make the booking!

  • Helen and Robert are wonderful hosts, the apple crumble and fresh eggs were a lovely surprise! Chocolate box cottage.....a gorgeous Irish thatched cottage. The cottage is very well equipped with everything you require including a cozy open fire for those cold winter nights! Really enjoyed it and would happily return

    Samantha2019-11-21T00:00:00Z
  • This was literally home from home for us and it didn’t disappoint. Rural Fermanagh at its best. We booked at short notice so Helen and Robert had their work cut out but pulled out all the stops. They even brought us homemade scones. The place is nestled in the countryside near derrylin and convenient to everything. The house is surprisingly big and could have accommodated twice our number comfortably. It is cosy, clean and well appointed. The setting is properly rural but close to shops etc if you need supplies. The hosts are real people steeped in the area. Take the time to meet the locals and look at the stars at night and you’ll get the best from this wee place. We had an event to attend but the tourist opportunities are plentiful and you should do your best to enjoy everything that Fermanagh has to offer. We highly recommend this property and these hosts.

The house is overlooking a beautiful lake with a jetty within walking distance. Marie was very quick to reply and gave detailed directions. Couldn't recommend it more. Lizzie

  • Jen and Brenda’s cottage is absolutely fabulous. Location is great, so private and the cottage is really cosy and spotlessly clean. The attention to detail in thinking of all guest needs (including the kids) is fantastic. We loved all the thoughtful added touches including wine, chocolates and card for my birthday. Last but not least, the hot tub. It was amazing extra, and a great way to relax after a busy day. Would highly recommend and can’t wait to return.

  • Claire and Joe’s house is substantial - it was the local doctor’s residence for many years until the 60s. It has been updated and is now very comfortable. We only stayed one night on a road trip round the west of Ireland, but this was definitely a highlight and I would not hesitate to recommend it to others.
