Our house in the Stockholm archipelago has a unique location, is completely self sufficient on electricity through solar cells, and not connected to the grid. The house is "off grid" and is now ready at 98%. All the functionality is done, there are a few beauty spots. The stairs, for example, have no handrail yet.

Bathroom with toilet and shower. Access to kayak, bikes, boule court as well as grass court for games and play. Hot tub recessed in the wooden deck just outside the cottage - available May-Sep. Wood stove at the house and one out. Wood is available. You come by car or bus from Stockholm (1.5h) or with one of the Waxholm boats. Sheets and towels are included.

Welcome to stay in this newly renovated archipelago cottage in beautiful Roslagen. The accommodation is located with a few minutes walk to the swimming area, Roslagsleden, kayak rental, nature reserve and nice running tracks. Just outside the property is a popular playground. The bedroom has two sleeping places and the sofa bed in the living room two more. You can reach Norrtälje city center in 3 minutes by car or 15 minutes by foot. Close to Kapellskär and excursions to Åland. Unfortunately, the house cannot be booked for parties.

In the summer, barbecue & outdoor furniture is available on the secluded patio. Rowboat is available to borrow for a day on request. There is a 120 bed & a sofa bed drapery for the bedroom. No smoking ,no pets due to allergies. Sheets & towels not included but can be added for 150:-pp The house is close to the main house where we live permanently .

With extensive forest behind the house, and the view of a bay of the Baltic Sea in front, the reaction of visitors usually becomes that this place provides a peace and harmony. The house was built in dalatimmer 2022 in traditional style but with all modern amenities, for year-round use. Outside high season is often seen wild as deer, hare and fox on the grounds. The main bedroom has a very comfortable 160 bed from a premium brand, with sea views from the main pillow. Close to charming Norrtälje, nice hiking trails.

A cosy cabin in Roslagens famn

A home in the northern part of the Stockholm archipelago, less than two nautical miles from where Taube wrote "In the fam of Roslagens". Charming, cozy, close to the forest and meadow. About 5 minutes walk to the sandy beach with jetty, without crossing anything but dirt roads. Child-friendly and quiet and nice walking paths all around. Close to Spillersboda, where you can buy ice cream, Kapellskärskär where you can catch the ferry to Åland and about 10 minutes to Norrtälje.

Had the most fantastic stay at Dennis’ place. From the beautiful house, with amazing scenery and the unexpected touches (games and wood for the fire!), it was hard not to immediately feel right at home. For a cosy winter weekend get away to a summer base for exploring and swimming in the surrounding area - this place is 10/10. Can’t wait until I can go back!

We had a nice weekend stay in this cozy house in the countryside that unfortunately had to be interrupted early due to illness. Great nice and very helpful hosts and there neighbors (many thanks again!), made beds and a fireplace that burned when we arrived, as well as lovely surroundings. We walked to the marina and swimming bay in brilliant sun, it took about 15 minutes and it was easy to find. We would be more than happy to come back!

We thoroughly enjoyed our time in this cottage, which despite its rural beauty had good connections to the city (40 min bus + 20 min walk) and local shops. The interiors were very functional and aesthetic. For 10 people there are some snug sleeping arrangements, but for our group that was not a problem.
