Home away from home

The place is really once to choose if you visit with family or spouse. Its clean and beautiful, just a bit of mosquitos. Overall it was really good and we enjoyed alot

It is a wonderful place to base yourself for work or if you are just visiting Canberra. Perfectly clean and comfortable bed, Could not ask for better accommodation for a single person or a couple.

This is my third stay with Alastair and Fiona and it won’t be my last. The apartment is always exceptionally clean, welcoming, extremely comfortable and very private. I highly recommend the place.

Perfect private stay, wonderful hosts.

We stayed here for 4 days and enjoyed our staying everyday in very private and quiet place. This place feels like very homey cottage! The bed is very comfortable and living room is cozy with all the neccssary amenities. Not far from the downtown and the town is quite nice to wondering around. Specially Thank you for the fresh water in the fridge and welcoming chocolate! Thank you Fiona and Alastair.

This was my second stay her with Alastair and Fiona. As always it was spotlessly clean, welcoming with lovely touches such as chocolates next to the bed, a personal welcome note and great communication. I highly recommend this place and will be going back when I’m next in need of accommodation in Queanbeyan or Canberra.

A clean, small apartment at an excellent price. It was everything we needed for a weekend stay in Canberra. Read the instructions to opening the lock box prior to getting there. We were happy with our stay here.

It is cosy apartment best for a quick stopover as was the case with us. It was clean and conveniently located and our host had prepared the place well for us. The neighbours can be a bit noisy.

This is a great place to stay. It's walking distance to the train and it's about 15 minutes or less to the center.

A tight fit for a family of 4 adultd but certainly does the job as advertised.

Easy to find, neat and tidy. Bridget provided two duvets for our kids who were sharing the sofa bed which was a lovely touch.

Great place! Exactly as described! The hosts even moved their car out so I could be in the driveway closer to unit. Check in was simple. Very private space at back of the family home. Would recommend and would stay again.

Vicki's place was a lovely home away from home. She's wonderful company, respects your personal space and is an excellent source of information on Canberra. The house is well furnished and while it's not the most modern, it provides you with pretty much everything you need for an extended stay. After staying here a month... I've decided to stay for another month.

Vicki is a super friendly lady who makes the place spotless and guests feel welcome. She knows I was looking for long term accommodation and gave me suggestions and information from a local point of view, which was very helpful indeed. There’s a nice courtyard with a garden for relaxation. Calwell shopping centre is only 4 minutes driving. A resident dog called Jam is such good company. Would highly recommend this place to any traveler to the area. :)

Absolutely loved my stay at Anamaria's yet again. The new floorboards in the room are beautiful and the room feels great! I love going for a walk around the local area and Red Hill Reserve is always a delight to explore. Thank you and yes, I'll be back!

Andrew’s flat is perfectly situated near ANU, Industry House, and Canberra Centre. The flat was clean, has all the amenities for some meals in, and was very comfortable. Highly recommended.

The place was very nice but the lift keycard did not work, we had to use stairs all the time, which by the way lack ilumination. The garage was also very dark , it made it difficult to park the car.

I stayed in the larger of bedrooms which had an ensuite. The room was larger than expected and the bed was remarkably comfortable. The apartment is shared with other guests, which wasn’t an issue for me. The unit is clean and well maintained and right in the centre of Canberra CBD.

Dana and his team are very efficient in providing assistance and flexible to accommodate the need of guests! For example, he helped us to keep our luggage after check out:) the room is clean! It is thoughtful that they also provide some food for breakfast! The location of the stay is so convenient too! We surely recommend it to other canberra visitors :)

Absolutely central but quiet. In the appartment that you share with two other guests (Dana doesn't live there but everything is very well organized) you find all you need. Very pleasant stay, I'd come back any time.

Jeneane is a very nice, welcoming, thoughtful and also very helpful host. Although I just stayed for one night, she took me to a nice lookout where we could see the sunset above Canberra. On the next morning she even drove me to the bus station in the city! I enjoyed talking to her (and her cockatiels!) and staying at her clean, well equipped and nicely decorated home. Linh's place was the perfect home away from home. I immediately felt comfortable in the well-designed apartment and appreciated the personal touches, like fresh flowers on the table and a full cookie jar. Secure underground parking was a great benefit, with access to the third floor apartment very safe and straightforward. Communication with the host was excellent. Linh responded quickly to my messages and kindly assisted when I decided to extend my stay. I would definitely book again when looking for accommodation in Canberra.

We stayed at Linh, apartment for easy access to the National Gallery, which is only a 5 minute drive away. We loved the surrounding area, with close by walking trails & restaurants. The apartment complex is very quiet and calm, despite the construction happening across the road. The apartment was spotless & we loved the decor. It was more spacious than expected & we enjoyed our time overall in Linh’s space.

The location and amenities at this apartment are fantastic, close to coffee shops and restaurants near the impressive Kingston foreshore. Would definitely recommend.

Just stayed 3 nights in Linh's apartment, its very central to Kingston, walking distance to lots of eateries and bars, walking distance to Manuka too. The apartment surpassed our exceptions, with lots of attention to detail. High quality finishes and lovely extras, like soap/shampoo/conditioner. Nespresso coffee machine and cooking accompainmnets. The building is very quiet, and comes with a car parking spot below. Just be wary of taking the lift, you need to press the G button on the opposite side that you expect. Took us a few moments to work it out!! Oh, the bed is sooo comfy! We are already looking forward to our next stay..
