Foodies would be wise to pit stop at Foliage, an award-winning restaurant listed as one of the “World’s 50 Best” restaurants. Own transport is recommended, but Uber is available if needed, guests use them often successfully. Gay friendly. Perfectly located.

There is a full kitchen and 3 bedrooms. Mount Bain is a protected nature reserve . The Wit River flows down Bains Kloof. Guests can swim in pristine mountain water, hike into the surrounding mountains or visit several Wine estates nearby.". Backup power is provided for loadshedding.

Rosemary cottage is one of three brand new cabins which rest on the edge of a lake in the heart of the Banhoek conservancy. It is a light filled, modern cabin with direct access to endless hiking and the finest mountain biking trails in the western cape. Although it is styled as a two person cabin, there is an open queen sized pod attached to the living room which can sleep 2 children or an extra guest for a small extra fee.
