My family and I stay was great! This place is super clean. You definitely need a car or be ready to use a taxi service but it’s worth the beautiful views. Mrs. Angelika’s husband even was kind enough to take us to the grocery store our first night. Wonderful experience!

Starting with the hospitality and cleanliness of the apartment with individual access to the quiet town of Niederburg and the beautiful nature right outside the door to the impressive sights. Lovely, classic 5 story apartment. Amazingly German, nestled in a tiny mountain town right below a castle. Ceiling is a bit low if you're taller, so take care.

Perfect accommodation for larger families or groups exploring the beautiful scenery. The Rheinsteig start just a few meters away. The grocery shop sells delicious Brötchen: a must try! Everything at hand for a wonderful stay!

Very nice and large apartment in the heart of Kaub.

Beautiful accommodation, very spacious, not high, so watch your head here and there. Very clean, and the hostess is very attentive! We were very happy with this accommodation! We have had New Year's Eve here and got the tip to walk up a long flight of stairs into the mountains. We did that and enjoyed the view over the village and the Rhine, and at night the view of the fireworks. Great experience and worth repeating!

It couldn't be better than Marion's in Kaub !! Best equipment, everything there, good beds, very clean and quiet location right on the Rheinsteig. The kitchen is very well equipped for cooking. Tea, coffee (and filters!), Spices are available, as well as sinks, tabs, sponge etc. Marion is a warm and accommodating host. We felt at home! Kaub has a train station and is easy to reach. In the village you will find all necessary shops, pharmacies, bakeries etc. Ideal location for Rheinsteig hikers, approx. 16 km to Loreley.

Great value multi-bedroom place. Ideal for big/multiple families that don’t mind the many stairs. Lovely peaceful area.

A very nice apartment in a cozy and beautiful little town. This space is perfect to relax after hiking or when exploring Kaub and the neighboring towns. Directly next to the Rheinsteig you can hike out the door to the trails, or right into town. It is also a short walk from the train station. The people in town are very friendly, and Marion is as friendly and welcoming as any host we have ever met. She made sure we were comfortable and all our needs were met, especially for our young child. The apartment is clean, and has most all the amenities you will need, plus it has plenty of space. Because Marion works most of the time at the small market in town, you can always walk down to pick up supplies and ask any questions. We will definitely return in the future to this special place.

Good location, convenient accommodation, everything there, what you need, uncomplicated communication.

I stayed at Nina for a long weekend. The description of the key collection was sent both in writing and by photo collage, so nothing could go wrong. Generally the communication was fast and pleasant. At check in we met by chance, while Nina has given me some valuable tips, such as a supermarket and what you can do anything! This was also again in the accommodation in font and prospectus form continued. So you already had a little plan from the surrounding area. I felt immediately welcome, the accommodation is nicely decorated, a personal welcome and welcome drinks in the fridge rounded off everything. The place itself is really cute, right on the Rhine and pretty central to many attractions such as. the Loreley or Rheinfels Castle. Everything can be reached by car in just a few minutes or you can simply sail across the Rhine by boat. All in all, a great stay, I will definitely come back again!

Right in town. Exceptional equipment with loving details. Had only one night on my bike ride - but this is an accommodation in which you feel comfortable and happy to stay longer! When I'm in Oberwesel again, I try to book with Nina again :)

When my husband and I rented this home we had been traveling since 3am and we’re on our last leg of our journey when there was an accident on the train tracks and we had to get off in the town where Nina’s house was. No more trains for the night and all the taxis had been reserved by the other passengers on the train, my husband and I didn’t know what to do and we were exhausted. We found Nina’s place on Airbnb and messaged her. She replied within 10 minutes and we told her our situation. She had the place ready for us to stay the night in in 20 mins and thankfully her house was a 5 minute walk from where we were. The house was very comfortable and Nina gave us some recommendations for places to eat near there. She was extremely hospitable and made me and my husband feel very comfortable. Would highly recommend this house if you happen to be in the area.

The accommodation of Berthold and Rosa is unreservedly recommended! Oberwesel is a cute place with cozy localities, you can make very nice walks through the vineyards and along the Rhine and the hospitality is simply stunning! Any time!

This is an exceptional property in terms of location, cleanliness, modernity, parking, and hospitality. The refrigerator does not have a freezing compartment, but we bought ice at a nearby market. Communication is prompt , clear, and Berthold is a superb host. Highly redommended.

The apartment is ideally located in central Oberwesel, near some nice restaurants and wine bars. The accommodation was very clean and everything was there, what you need! Coffee maker and hair dryer are also available! It was a pleasure! :)

This place rocks! It was very spacious. They were a very gracious couple. They gave us great recommendations of things to do in town. They even drove us to the winery. At a minimal charge, they provided us with breakfast, which was greatly appreciated. The place was super cute. There were four of us and there was plenty of room. The apartment was clean, well decorated, and everything we were looking for. We would for sure stay here again.

You will find at Jutta and Augustus whatever you wish and more. In the morning, the owner, especially for us, went for fresh rolls for breakfast. This is good!

A welcoming country cottage, the landlord lives on the first floor and enjoys the entire second floor, two bedrooms, a wet and dry toilet and a living room with a kitchen and dining room, as well as a lovely little balcony. The host family has a large garden with sun loungers, a swing slide and a small pond. In the morning or after dinner, it is very laid back in the garden. The host also has two big dogs. The children are very happy.

Great place to stay, Heidrun help us a lot and gave us a lot of tips, the house is great for kids and family.

We enjoyed staying in Heidruns lovely little House in the center of Kaub a lot. The house was very cozy and offered an outstanding equipment. What we loved most was the fire stove we lit every night. Heidrun was a great host. As she knew it was my birthday she even came by to bring a birthday present and her husband explained all there was to know about the house and surroundings and showed us how to set fire in stove. The city of Kaub was very pretty and the people friendly. We had a great time and would love to come back to Heidrun´s place some time!

We walk the Rheinsteig in stages and spent three nights in Kaub. We felt very comfortable in the "Mäuseloch" ... a small oasis. It was more central than expected in a quiet cul de sac without railway noise. The house is very thoughtful and lovingly equipped (including mountains on books, games and CD's). There was nothing missing! Everything was totally uncomplicated and nice! I have already recommended the house ....

The communication with Heidrun and her husband was perfect. We were equipped with good tips. The accommodation was very nice and very quiet. A good starting point for excursions. We will be back.

Friedrich's house is very spacious and bright, including a separate living room, bedroom, dining and kitchen, and bedroom. The bathroom is bright and clean, and the floor is spotless. The kitchen is equipped with everything for cooking. The host is very attentive and caring. Of course, the biggest highlight of this house is the large balcony with a panorama view of Rhein river. I had an amazing time at Friedrich's; the place was so spacious, well-equipped, with modern amenities, thoughtful touches, and was sparkling clean. Not to mention the views over the Rhine; the balcony is fantastic but sadly it was a little too cold for me to spend much time out on it when I visited in late October. The region is stunning, but the place is located very close to the train station (3-5 minutes walk), so is perfect for those who don't have a car or are hiking one of the trails along the Rhine and need an overnight stop. The station is served by a regional line between the bigger cities of Koblenz and Frankfurt am Main, so is very easy to access with reasonably frequent trains. Communication was great, as well as very friendly and warm, even if we had something of a language barrier. You will definitely be well looked after at Friedrich's place and I cannot recommend it more. I'll certainly be returning!

I highly recommend Carina's accommodation. It is quiet, very clean and has a lot of space. The bathroom and kitchen are well equipped and the beds are very comfortable. Communication with Carina was also smooth and uncomplicated.

Carina was so friendly, communicative, co-operative and did everything for offering a pleasant stay in Damsheid. The place is a small house, well-situated at the centre of damscheid with only few minutes away by car from restaurants, pumping stations, supermarkets and everything you need. The place was comfortable, well equipped with all the necessary needs , stylish and well-cleaned. It had also a sauna. Parking was available at the fornt garden. The back garden at Craina`s apartment was amazing. However, the only drawback was that at Damshied one won`t find any restuarants or grocers therefore, one will need to have a car to go to neighbouring town, Oberwesel. Otherwise, the stay was amazing with Craina always available and helpful.

A wonderful second story apartment, two large beds, full kitchen, deck, and even a sauna. Carina is very fast in responding and a wonderful host. Highly recommend this place when visiting the mittel Rhein.

We were really impressed with Carina's apartment. It occupies the first floor of her house and is very spacious. Two very large double bedrooms, a huge bathroom with excellent shower, bath and sauna and a kitchen diner which also has a sofa and TV. There is also a small room containing lots of information about the local area, which has doors opening onto a small balcony that has a table and chairs. The house has a large driveway, so parking was off-road and easy. We were very comfortable, enjoyed the peace and quiet and liked the fact that it was only a 3km drive to the Rhine river. Carina was very friendly and we thought her apartment offered excellent value for money and makes a great base for exploring the middle Rhine area. Many thanks for an enjoyable stay!

We spent with our family in this Damscheider apartment a wonderful two-week vacation. The equipment of the apartment is great and we did not miss anything. We really enjoyed the great garden and our daughter (1.5 years) had a lot to discover (sandpit, swings, etc.). The hostess is very friendly, helpful and generous! We liked it so much that we will spend our next summer vacation there.

We had really a wonderful stay at Carina's place. It was very clean, quiet and you feel very relaxed there. The bathroom is big, bright (with 2 windows), and with Sauna. At arrival, Carina welcomed us with fruit dish, chocolate, and acidulous mineral water in fridge (really helpful in such a hot summer). There are also tourist books about the region, toys for children, additional beds, even toothpaste for kids. Actually you can find almost everything you would need. Carina also put 2 home-made jams in fridge that are made by herself and are really delicious. Carina is a truly amazing host. She is very friendly, easy for communication, and really takes care of guests. Because of unexpected heat weather we could not make the travel as planned and Carina was exceptionally helpful and allowed us to change the travel plan. Totally recommend Carina's place! Nice little apartment in St. Goar just a short walk from the city center. Located right near the ferry for ease and plenty of parking nearby. Full kitchen and great bathroom. Jeanette is very helpful and responsive. All in all would recommend for the area.

Jeanette met us at the dock and greeted us as we got off of the ferry (which is a stone's throw away from her place). The apartment is small but charming and super clean. We had everything we needed for our stay. We left one day early due to weather/schedule issues and Jeanette was MORE than accommodating. She is a lovely hostess and I highly recommend her place to anyone staying in Sankt Goar

We stayed two nights for a short break in St. Goar at Jeanette and felt very comfortable. Of course, the apartment is quite small and functional, but that's exactly what we were looking for and for the price you can not complain at all. The communication was great and, above all, the location is great: you look at the Rhine and is very fast in the city. A totally beautiful hiking trail leads past the front door. Of course it is also very loud on the main road, but that did not bother us. We will definitely be back!

We really enjoyed the tranquility of Mathias’s cottage near Oberwesel. The fireplace and warm fluffy duvets were amazing and just what was needed to keep us warm during the Feb winter. Unfortunately many places in the town and surrounding towns were closed due to Winter break which made it difficult to find restaurants to go to but we still had a wonderful time. Mathias is a wonderful host.

This house is for those who want a place outside the town limits away from tourists. One must be able to climb around 35 steps to get inside. However, the cleanliness, personal touches, and lovely terraces with little fountain, if one can negotiate the steps make it worthwhile.

It was very cozy and quiet. The equipment was good. A good tip was the wine grower in the same street No. 40 "Bei Toni (and Anneliese)", food and wine were delicious and there was music and singing.

This is in a lovely quiet location, with lots of lovely touches around the home. The home is very well equipped and comfortable both inside and out. The outside area is a very pleasant place to sit. Need a car to drive into town unless you want a long walk. Sylvie, the neighbour, was very helpful.

Unfortunately had to cancel the night unfortunately due to illness, but the notification of the hostess with recommendations to stop etc were unusually informative and detailed and the apartment is probably not only in the pictures absolutely recommended.

Sooo unlike any other AirBNB I have ever been to. When I arrived, at sunset I met the most beautiful lady with kind and happy eyes. I had not been able to sleep for 48 hours, and it was Sunday night, with no grocery store near by and I was tired and hungry. She took me to my room and showed me the kitchen and where everything was. Then I fell sleep right away. When I woke up at 11 pm. I went to the kitchen and there was a table set so beautifully, with bread, butter, jam, and fruits. I could not believe my eyes. The house is the nicest, cleanest, and loveliest place I have been to. It is next to the river Rhine. I went out every morning, crossed the street and walk by the river, embraced on both shores by golden trees. And behind the house was only the woods, extending up the mountain. I will go back there again and again. I love Esther and am so grateful for the wonderful time I had at her house.

It was a very nice time at Petra's accommodation, we were there for four nights. The apartment was nice and warm when we arrived, so that you immediately felt comfortable. Always perfect after many stays

Ying's place is absolutely delightful and perfect for those travelers interested in visiting the Rhine Valley. The house is near a ferry and close to several tourist sites, wineries, and supermarkets. There is free parking right outside the village that is an easy walk to the property. Our family stayed over the new year. We were absolutely amazed by the village's fireworks celebration! Kaub really goes all out! What really took it to the next level was that Ying's place had stunning views of the valley. The hosts were super attentive to all of our needs and very kind to us. Despite the complaints we read on the site, the trains never bothered us. We slept better than in other places we stayed in Europe. We would definitely booked Ying's place again! It's magical!

Good place to stay

Blitzsauber hits the black .. We were only one night, knew the area and were aware of the train tracks and the road. We were able to check in earlier, which was very valuable to us. Apartment is fully furnished with everything, that's great. We are happy to come back.

The apartment is exactly as described, clean, tidy, very spacious and in the style of the 70s. The apartment is, as often described here, right next to the railway line. But with the windows closed, it is completely ok, the view of the Rhine also compensates for that. We have used the apartment as a base for hiking, but it is ideal. Free parking is also around the corner. The communication with Ying ran without any problems, in the fridge was even a bottle of wine - thank you! Check in and check out we could easily do it ourselves. We would definitely recommend the apartment.

Nice big apartment with a wonderful view of the Rhine.

Our stay at Ying’s was great, the self check-in took is spotless and Christal (the co-host) is super responsive and willing to help for any possible question. The position of the house is perfect: 5 min by walk to the ferry and close to restaurants and bakeries. Strongly recommend, especially for families.

In english below. The apartment is clean and well placed. Yin greeted us very well but did not speak English (or French): we communicated with Cristal by SMS and Yin took care to show us what Cristal indicated to us by SMS and everything went very well. The apartment is on the 3rd floor without elevator (1 staircase to go to the main door then 2 floors later) with wifi (weak signal) and television. The apartment is against the railroad and freight trains run far more often than passenger trains (there were 38 containers on a train!) Resulting in some noise, especially open windows. Surprisingly, we slept well on both nights. There is everything we need (including empty cabinets waiting for our stuff) and even lots of games for kids (of all ages: baby to a big box of lego). Yin had even installed an extra bed for our 3rd child. Location side, the apartment is very placed: explanation weingut proposing flamekueche, 30m from a bakery and not far from a small supermarket. The castle Platzgrafenstein in the middle of the rhine is not far (the children liked it) and we are on the right side of the Rhine to see the lorelei rock. Otherwise count € 7.50 to cross the rhine to your car + 4 people by ferry (every 10-15 minutes). We had a very good stay there and will be happy to come back. The flat was clean and well located. We were well received by Yin who did not speak english or french but Cristal was communicating with us en français via SMS and Yin did the gestures according to Cristal's explanation. Crystal & Yin were really reactive to all our questions. The lat is on 4th floor without elevator with (low) wifi & tv. A freight train line is near the flat and that makes a noise, especially when windows are opened. But, amazingly, we all have slept very well. Everything we need was there, even toys for the kids. And Yin had installed a third bed for our last kid. The flat is well situated: near a "weingut", a bakery and not far away from a little grocery store. The Platzgrafenstein castle is not far away, even for the ferry ($ 10 to cross the Rhine with car & familly). We had a wonderful time in Kaub and we would come back with pleasure.

Bernhard's lovely apartment was comfortable and just as described. Bernhard was very responsive to all communications. Check in was very easy. We were in the area for only one night, but the apartment would be a nice place to stay while exploring the middle Rhine Valley, if you have a car.

Sabine and Fred are friendly, warm and generous hosts. They were exceptioally helpful in getting us in the right direction to enjoy the sites. Their property is sparkling clean and is a restful place to stay. We would be happy to visit again.

Fred and Sabine’s place is one of those stays that would surprise you both ways. The place is a very good value . Very modern, spacious and clean. It invites you to stay inside and relax rather than be out most of the day doing the “tourist” stuff. You almost want to brag about it to your friends and family for such a find. The bed is comfortable. The bathroom is spacious. There are two TVs, one in bedroom and the other in the living room. If you want a break from dining out, you would be happy to cook dinner at this place as it has a complete kitchen. Everything you need is there. The pots and pans are clean and look new. Plates, cups, forks, spoons, etc are high quality. There is also an assortment of spices. We even have wine in the fridge, chocolate, and a lovely gift. Thank you so much Fred and Sabine. We had a wonderful stay.

We have been received very nice by Sabine and her husband. The apartment is very quiet and is very nicely decorated. Unfortunately, we could not use all the equipment, since we only stayed one night. The kitchen offers everything you need for a longer vacation. All around an apartment, which I like to recommend.

The accommodation is very nice, modern and lovingly furnished. A longer stay here is nothing in the way. The accommodation is tiptop clean and extensively furnished. We lacked nothing. The welcome and farewell was very nice and friendly. The communication was friendly and fast. After Kaub it is only a stone's throw and the Rhenish slate mountains are ideal for hiking. Perfectly furnished apartment - you feel like home !!!

Richard was out of town when we reached out to him but we were able to get into the house early via his friend. He showed us around and gave us restaurant recommendations. We enjoyed our stay despite the chill and rain. It was quiet and quaint.

This place is very spacious and is a great location. Our room had a view of both the castle on the hillside and river. The host is very responsive, friendly and met us in person to show us the space. You will need to call him on the phone to let him know you are there. So if you do not have international calling on your phone, you may want to download WhatsApp beforehand in order to communicate more easily. There around about 4 private rooms in the flat. The flat is one the first floor of an old house. There is a shared living room, large kitchen and 2 bathrooms. One bathroom is a half bath with a toilet and sink and the other is a full bath with a toilet, sink, bathtub and shower. This is especially convenient if multiple people are trying to get ready at the same time. The water pressure is great in the shower. To get the hot water, make sure you turn it all the way to the hottest setting and then turn it down from there to the setting you prefer. If you start from the cold or warm setting and try turning it up hotter from there it did not work for us.

This apartment was gorgeous! It was clean and cozy with large windows looking out onto the Rhine. The room had a stunning view of the castle. It is a short walk from the train station and about a 15 minute hike up to the castle. Richard was a great host for the short amount of time we were there. St Goar is a spectacular place to visit but be sure to plan ahead on anything you may need for the evenings as shops and restaurants tend to close early.

We had a wonderful time and felt totally comfortable! The decor has its own charm! Those who sleep lightly are disturbed by the trains that pass the house. It was not a problem for us. In addition, the apartment is located directly on the Rhine and Kaub is a nice place where you can relax! We can only recommend Ying's accommodation! Anna, Kathrin, Anne, Steffi, Kati and Julia

The apartment is pretty much the same as the pictures. The landlords, the family Xu, are very nice. To welcome we found a bottle of Kaub in the fridge. If someone has a sensitive sleep, he can hardly sleep with the window open, because the apartment is located in the immediate vicinity of the train. I slept with the window closed and did not hear anything, although otherwise I wake up quickly. Bakery and restaurant are right around the corner. As a starting point for motorcycle tour or hike the apartment is very well suited.

Knowledgeable teacher and fun atmosphere. Cool location, liked the intimacy of the setting but also that it wasn't removed.
