BALTHASAR Resort Guesthouse on the Rebhang in the Rheingau

The "Balthasar Ress Guesthouse" is the guest house of the renowned Balthasar Ress winery in the Rheingau. Primarily designed for the winery's own guests, it is also sometimes available to other guests. The architect's house is located in the "Rebhang" settlement, one of the most exclusive and beautiful residential areas in the Rheingau wine-growing region. The settlement is located at an altitude of around 400 m, around 300 m above the Rhine and is surrounded by meadows, vineyards and the forest.

An unique tranquil living space can comfortably accomodate 2-7 persons. Furnishings include queen size beds, bright pool room and an inviting bar. Glass doors open up onto wooden terraces and a koi pond. An adjacent grill under a vine-covered pergola overlooks a large (1400sqm) well-kept garden. It has a private entrance with ample parking. We live on the top floor of the house, but we give our guests their space and guests have most of the garden to themselves. Easily accessible from the A3.

Ein Besuch in unserer Ferienwohnung läuft oft nach diesem Schema ab: Unsere Gäste betreten die Terrasse und sind gebannt von dem Ausblick. Mit großen Augen lassen sie das Treiben auf dem Rhein, der unter ihnen fließt, auf sich wirken. Entspannung pur. Der fantastische Blick auf das Rheintal und die "7 Jungfrauen" macht den besonderen Reiz dieser Ferienwohnung für 2-8 Personen aus. Sie verfügt im EG über 1 Schlafzimmer (Doppelbett) und im UG über 3 Schlafzimmer (1 Doppelbett, 4 Einzelbetten).

Gönnt Euch ein Besuch in unserem 2019 sanierten Fachwerkhaus Anno 1690 in der sehr ruhigen Altstadt von Stromberg, direkt am Schlossbrunnen unterhalb der 3 Burgen. Die Küche im 1.Stock befindet sich spannenderweise im ehemaligen Wehrgang der Stadtmauer. Das mittelalterliche Gebäude verfügt noch immer über die typisch steilen Eichentreppen und die Deckenhöhe ist außerhalb der Norm. Gemütliches verweilen im Haus und als Ausgangspunkt für Wanderer & Biker....für Erholung und Abenteuer...

Die 4ha große Hofreite liegt idyllisch inmitten der Weinberge und ist zu zwei Seiten ebenerdig erreichbar. Sie können vom Hof aus direkt mit Wanderungen oder Radtouren starten. Experience the medieval Schifferhaus on the quiet market square of Kaub- a Enjoy a journey back in time! Historic charm and modern en-suite bathrooms in each double room combine past and comfort. The apartment is designed for two to four guests. Beneath the shade of the old linden trees, you can relax after a hike along the Rheinsteig and enjoy the excellent local wines. The apartment is also ideally located for attending a concert at the Loreley open-air theatre.

A vacation in beautiful nature in the heart of the Rheingau near the Schloß Vollrads and Schloss Johannisberg wineries in Stephanshausen. Please feel at home in my detached house with garden! Priceless but nevertheless included: fantastic views over a horse paddock and beyond the Rhine. From here you can start wonderful hikes. In a short time, you're at Johannisberg Castle, Rüdesheim with Drosselgasse, abbey and romantic castles.

Bright, charming vacation home for 2-6 people

Spend a nice time with friends, family or as a couple. The accommodation is comfortably equipped and very lovingly furnished. The green courtyard is also great. Pets are welcome upon request. The cozy ambience invites you to linger and is the ideal starting point for excursions. So you can explore the Maifeld, hike the dream paths, visit Eltz Castle, take part in a wine tasting on the Mosel or take a boat trip on the Rhine.

Away from short-lived trends and mass-produced goods, our accommodation stands for longevity, individuality and thoughtful upcycling.
