Centrally located in the historic center. Quiet, and bright. Note: Apt. is on the third floor (no elevator!). The 2 bedrooms are each at the end of the hallway. Well equipped eat-in kitchen. Sights, restaurants, and wine bars are very close. The pier on the Rhine is a few minutes walk away. Parking along the city wall by the highway. 2 bedrooms, each with 1 double bed (for 2 people each). In the living room there is also a sofa bed that can accommodate an additional 2 people.

Experience a breathtaking panorama of the Rhine above the rooftops of the town. The apartment is designed for two to six guests. This sunlit former mine nestles against the rock like a swallow’s nest, directly below Burg Gutenfels and along the Rheinsteig trail - far from train and traffic noise. Enjoy the shaded terrace beneath the vine arbor and the herb garden. From your secluded sun meadow, you overlook the Rhine, passing ships, and the historic Pfalzgrafenstein castle.

🏡 In our wooden barrel, you will spend cozy hours with a view of chickens, cattle and the castle! "Cozy, cozy, totally great, it smells good of wood, like in a boat cabin," how our guests describe the extraordinary experience in the barrel. You can see Stahleck Castle and Lorch Castle and turn into the premium Rheinburgenweg hiking trail right outside the front door for fantastic hikes.

The kitchenette is well equipped with a 2-burner ceramic stovetop, refrigerator, microwave with grill, coffee maker, kettle, toaster, dishes, cutlery and glasses. There is free parking at the house. A vacation in beautiful nature in the heart of the Rheingau near the Schloß Vollrads and Schloss Johannisberg wineries in Stephanshausen. Please feel at home in my detached house with garden! Priceless but nevertheless included: fantastic views over a horse paddock and beyond the Rhine. From here you can start wonderful hikes. In a short time, you're at Johannisberg Castle, Rüdesheim with Drosselgasse, abbey and romantic castles.

Our apartment on the ground floor, bright and friendly, is located in the winegrowing community of Bornich, in the "World Heritage Upper Middle Rhine Valley", directly on the Rheinsteig. The Loreley can be reached on foot in 40 minutes. You will find us in a traffic-calmed cul-de-sac. Parking directly at the house. Check-in via key safe possible. In 500m you are in the great outdoors.
