  • I was one of Stuart’s first visitors, but it didn’t show. He’s a great host, up for a chat if you want one, happy to let you go about your business if not. All the mod cons, and a warm house too. A 20 minute walk to the theatre for me (where I was working). He even picked me up and drove me to the house on the first day, plus gave me lots of maps and advice on the local area for buses and the nearby pool and gym. A great stay! I’ll be back!

    Alice2020-03-15T00:00:00Z
  • Perfect night away, the pod was a great size and very well kept. Location was beautiful, very quiet and had stunning views. Hot tub was amazing as were the hosts, will definitely be staying again!

  • A clean, surprisingly spacious, quaint little hide out tucked away in a great little place with a wonderful view of a stream and farmers field. Waking up on a crisp morning with the sound of the stream passing by and horses running around the field was something close to perfection . The cabin itself was cozy comfortable and had all the amenities you could ask for. The hosts were a lovely couple who was happy to help and made it clear what was what . Overall a great place to stay , a short drive to the seaside and quality restaurants, you will be seeing us again soon thanks again 👌 Luke

  • Beautiful stay. Rosalind and her partner/husband went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and happy. Lovely, clean and fresh smelling. Outstanding touches on the breakfast for the morning and very welcoming.

    Brodie2020-02-25T00:00:00Z
  • Lovely place to stay, was much better than expected. Location was superb, everything you need is within a 5 minute drive including food, shops etc. The pod itself was perfectly set up, the hot tub was a lot bigger that expected! The little bits on arrival such as tea, coffee, milk, butter and bread and biscuits were a lovely little gesture. Hosts were very friendly and helpful and only a quick message away. Always had our own privacy unless we needed support. Great place to stay and will definitely be returning!

    Mia2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • Wonderful little find! This POD is everything you need and more. Every detail covered, and so cosy. Was surprised by the amount of space inside! Views out of the pod are lovely, and the hottub is a nice extra touch. Hosts lovely and welcoming. Will definately be back.

  • Two night business stay whilst working in Grimsby. Great place, nice and quiet, lots of thoughtful touches e.g. milk, yogurt, homemade jam etc., made it a home from home. Would stay again

    Elaine2019-10-18T00:00:00Z
  • We enjoyed our stay very much. It is very comfortable. Everything worked as you would like, including fast wifi. We appreciated the food, especially homemade preserves.

  • Sally’s Airbnb is just like a home away from home, with every convenience at your fingertips. The local walks and nearby villages are picturesque. Thank you Sally for your amazing hospitality! 😊

    Kathryn2019-09-22T00:00:00Z
  • A fantastic place to stay, with everything you could possibly need. Great location, 35 mins drive from Lincoln and easy access to major routes. Even though Sally was away herself at the time of my stay, she made access to the property easy, leaving a comprehensive list of instructions of where to find and operate everything. She was great when responding to messages, and also left some home made jams which were most welcome! I really can’t fault this property, and hope to get the opportunity to stay here again.

    Stuart2019-08-26T00:00:00Z
  • A really pretty garden room flat right on the doorstep of the stunning Lincolnshire Wolds. The room is spacious, with a very comfortable bed, and lovely touches such as homemade jam. Sally was an excellent and very welcoming host, and very kindly allowed us to explore her beautiful garden. An excellent stay in a lovely part of the country.

    Lisa2019-08-04T00:00:00Z
  • Absolutely gorgeous home from home. A lovely French country character in a very cool and shaded studio. You wanted for nothing... Yummy breakfasts included too!! I loved it!! Will visit again soon. Thank you, Sally

    Claire2019-07-18T00:00:00Z
  • Sally’s garden cottage was the perfect spot for us to unwind in the evening after visiting family in nearby Cleethorpes. The garden itself is absolutely incredible, we loved wandering around in it in the evenings. The cottage is walking distance to a nearby pub was great as we were able to visit for a drink one afternoon. The cottage is cosy, but spacious and spotlessly clean with everything you could need for a visit to Lincolnshire. We will definitely be back again next time we’re visiting grandparents in England!

    Alice2019-05-23T00:00:00Z
  • A wonderful stay in an almost fairy-tale garden setting. The cottage is a studio - one large, light-filled room, separated by clever use of furniture rather than walls. Extremely comfortable, and linked by large windows to the fantastic garden outside. Incredible variety of flowers, shrubs and trees. Loved lounging on a very comfortable bed, gazing out to the garden and all the way to the hills. Well located for good walks into the wolds, which we took following the host's careful instructions. The host was extremely responsive - little touches like breakfast fixings including two varieties of homemade jams and one marmalade. All this made it perhaps our best Airbnb stay ever. We hated to leave and would love to go back.

  • This is my second stay at the barn. I couldn’t wait to go back after my first time. This time I brought my dog so I got to explore the grounds and it was lovely. It’s an ideal place to stay if you want a peaceful and relaxing getaway and Jess includes plenty of thoughtful touches to make your stay special. Highly recommended!

    Laylee2020-03-15T00:00:00Z
  • We had an amazing time at Jess and Tom's beautiful home. The place itself is spacious and clean with lovely country touches, and nothing was too much for them as hosts. We brought our dog who had a great time romping around off lead as well! The best Airbnb we have stayed at, can't recommend highly enough.

    Tessa2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • This beautiful place exceeded all of our expectations. We received a warm welcome from Jessica and the personal touches made our stay extra special. Home made pizza, use of the tennis courts and the delicious chocolate cake were wonderful touches. Our very energetic dog had as much fun as all of us with wonderful walks and the small touches such as dog towels and treats made everything so much easier. The house is beautiful and the pictures do not do it justice. Would recommend this place to anyone, from couples to families and dogs! We will definitely be returning.

    Rhia2020-02-20T00:00:00Z
  • Well what can we say this place is amazing. Beautiful well kept grounds, welcoming hosts and the barn is just wow 🤩 We loved sitting by the open fire and our dog enjoyed the walks. It’s clear to see how much effort goes in to this place. Lots of little touches which were appreciated such as the towel/treats for our dog and the delicious lemon drizzle cake. Thank you both, we will be back soon.

  • Staying in Mandy's place felt home from home. Lovely welcome touches for the children and especially nice that they we had 3 Christmas trees up. A great home, lots of space, beautifully decorated and everything you would need. Would come back, so can't recommened it enough.

    Damian2020-01-02T00:00:00Z
  • Mandy's place is like a home from home. Beautifully clean and lovely decor. This Christmas the house was beautiful with the Christmas trees and lights. Love staying there

    Denise2019-12-15T00:00:00Z
  • Stayed in September for a family wedding so knew what to expect - but did we? How wonderful to find the house decorated for Christmas with no less than three pretty trees, lovely festive ornaments and a welcoming bottle of mulled wine, mince pies and a Christmas card showing a well known Grimsby street that brought back so many childhood memories. Thank you very much, see you in 2020!

    Christine2019-12-10T00:00:00Z
  • Really beautiful house, very stylish and like a home away from home. Has everything you would need for a weekend away. Stayed for a local wedding, and a lovely place to base ourselves. Great communication with Mandy, and would 100% recommend. Only very slight criticism is the very low shower pressure, making washing long hair very time consuming.

    Jemma2019-11-17T00:00:00Z
  • Mandy's house was fantastic, ideal location when working close by. We will definitely being using her home again.

    Tania2019-11-15T00:00:00Z
  • The house was quite spaced and had everything we needed, the pig and whistle pub across the road served good food and had a menu for the dog too. We would stay again

    Mark2019-11-10T00:00:00Z
  • We didn’t get to meet Mandy when checking in, but she gave very clear and easy instructions on how to gain access to the property. The house is tucked away in a nice quiet cul-de-sac in Healing. Only 5 minutes walk from Healing Manor, which was perfect for us as we were attending a wedding there. The house had everything we needed and plenty of space to relax and feel at home in. The beds were super comfy and we had two great nights sleep at Mandy’s Place. The kitchen had all the cooking utensils we needed. There is also a lovely back garden to relax in as well and we were lucky we got to enjoy it with the good weather during our stay. We would definitely recommend Mandy’s place and we hope to stay again in future.

  • A wonderful cottage in a beautiful, peaceful setting. Easy to find on the Sat Nav but Emma also gave us detailed directions. Well equipped, cosy and a great location to explore the beautiful Wolds from.

  • A beautiful cottage in a beautiful location - the Lincolnshire Wolds. I walked out the door on the first morning to see a deer stood in front of me in the middle of the lane (there is virtually no traffic on this lane - and no neighbours, apart from, hares, rabbits, pheasants and a buzzard in the sky) Its heart warming to know you can still escape to places like this. Give it a try!

  • This was my second stay at Chris’ place & once again it was outstanding! I would definitely recommend this place and hope to stay here again in the near future.

  • Our third time staying in the garden studio and it never disappoints! Really cosy and clean. Great communication and easy check in. Brilliant location in Lincolnshire as close to many pretty villages and towns. Highly recommend this studio!

  • Great location for walks and for those wanting to explore the Wolds. The place is perfect for 2 (lacks a proper kitchen so bear this in mind if that's important for you - not an issue for our 2 nights). Nice touches inside, including breakfast provisions, lovely comfortable bed and great bathroom. Great value and would highly recommend!

    William2019-12-01T00:00:00Z
  • Absolutely lovely little place in the country, exactly like the photos show. Having come from Leeds it was lovely to be in sick a calm and peaceful village. The weather wasn't the best so we headed to Lincoln, great place to visit and the cottage is close enough for day trips without having to stay in the busy centre. With great friendly hosts and a lovely place I would recommend it to anyone!

    Megan2019-11-17T00:00:00Z
  • Excellent little place, ideal for a weekend stay.

    Charles2019-10-20T00:00:00Z
  • Chris and Sonia's is a lovely getaway for a weekend, best suited for a couple. They've really put a lot of effort into this place, very cosy and well decorated. A town is a quick drive nearby if you need any necessities and there's the Viking Way walk which has some great sights and greenery. Would definitely recommend this place and would also go again. The only thing I would say is be careful on the spiral staircase as it can be a little slippy with socks on! Haha.

    Claire2019-10-06T00:00:00Z
  • Very nicely finished and cosy studio apartment. Excellent value for money, really appreciated the selection of breakfast food provided! Shampoo / conditioner etc were a nice touch too. Very comfy and cosy. Ate out in Market Rasen and Tealby, and enjoyed a 6 mile walk into the Wolds!

Crossways is set in the peaceful and beautiful surroundings of the Lincolnshire Wolds. Close to the villages of Waltham, Tealby and the sandy beach at Cleethorpes. Within 40 minutes of Donna Nook and the historic city of Lincoln. As the property is in a rural location and public transport is very limited, we advise that your own transport is necessary.
The annexe sits within the bounds of the main house (approx 2 acres), with parking shared between the two properties. Please see photographs for exact location of Crossways as your SatNav will take you into the village. Since the mobile phone signal can be variable in East Ravendale, we suggest that you enable WiFi-Calling or use other forms of internet based communications. Guests are always welcomed by the owners. The property is self contained, and as such, hosts may not be immediately on hand, however, will be contactable by phone. Our modern self-contained annexe comprises own entrance, king size bed, bathroom and well equipped kitchen with access to garden. A TV, DVD player and a selection of DVDs are provided. Black out blinds are provided to enable night shift workers to sleep during the day.
Five minutes drive from Waltham, a village with two pubs, restaurants, takeaways and supermarkets yet only 20 minutes from the sandy beach at Cleethorpes. Unfortunately there are no shops or pubs in our village.

We are located in the rural and beautiful village of Owmby based on the edge of the Lincolnshire Wolds. As you’d expect with us being located in the stunning Lincolnshire countryside, The Old Granary offers easy access to a range of superb local walks and cycle routes. National Route 1 is a particular favourite of ours when it comes to cycling, while the Viking Way is a fantastic route for keen walkers just five minutes walk away. The Old Granary is on the edge of the Lincolnshire Wolds which can provide a vast choice of walking routes with pubs along the way. On the farm we have 4km of Permissive Rights of Way which guests are welcome to use. Please note that these are closed for six days a year. Commuting from The Old Granary couldn’t be easier with the Humber Bridge, Lincoln, Hull, Immingham Docks, Scunthorpe and Grimsby all within a 30-minute drive. The M180 (3 miles away) provides easy access to the M1 and Barnetby train station (3 miles away), connects to Lincoln, Newark, Sheffield and Grimsby. • We stayed here for 1 night and couldn't have asked for a better stay. Everything seems to have been considered, communication was clear and fast, the place was spotlessly clean and the attention to detail was spot on. We hope to be back for a longer stay next time!

    Paul2019-11-17T00:00:00Z
  • Beautiful stylish place and surrounding area, ideal for a quiet get away.

    Jason2019-10-27T00:00:00Z
  • We stayed here almost entirely because of the style and decor of the apartment — perfectly to our tastes, and an inspiration for a (hopefully not TOO far in the future) self-build plan of our own. Seen in the flesh, the apartment didn't disappoint: it's bright, comfortable-yet-minimal, and sparklingly clean throughout. The bathroom, though simple, has a real 'luxury hotel' vibe to it thanks in no small part to the spacious walk-in rainfall shower. The bedroom, meanwhile, is clean, comfortable, and tremendously cosy — the rain pattering down on the roof during the night of our stay sent us to sleep in minutes. The facilities at The Mill are also first-rate, making it ideal for a quiet weekend getaway from city life. There's a fully equipped kitchen complete with induction hobs, an oven, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, and even a coffee machine. There's also WiFI and a smart TV in the living room with free access to Netflix, and the property in general benefits from a number of nice, modern touches like remote-operated blinds, skylights, and underfloor heating. Our hosts even left fresh bread, milk, and butter for us, along with some snacks in the kitchen. My only (perhaps selfish) suggestion would be that said snacks could be more suitable for vegetarian guests, too — as much as I wanted to devour the chorizo-flavour crisps that had been left for us, I couldn't because of the ingredients; and we also chose to use our own soya milk because I personally prefer not to drink cow's milk. Similarly, the coffee pod machine does produce undeniably tasty coffee, but perhaps fresh-ground coffee with paper filters (or just an old-school cafetiere) would be a more eco-friendly alternative as they would do away with the need for single-use coffee pods. But of course, I'm nitpicking here — these are of course extras, and very generous at that, and our experience at The Mill was exactly what we expected: a quiet, cosy, comfortable countryside haven with more than a dash of modern sophistication. There's not a tonne to do in the surrounding area, truth be told, but this is the kind of rental that you visit for the apartment itself, so you'll want to spend as much time as possible indoors! Thank you for a great stay!

The cottage itself has everything you need for a short stay and is cosy and warm. Don't forget your slippers as the beautiful stone and wood floor will make your toes chilly if you do!

    Paula2019-01-08T00:00:00Z
  • We booked this place almost a year in advance as we needed to take our dogs to a place where there was no fireworks (our dogs hate them.) We spoke with Andy about our situation and he gave us the full description of the place and what was there and that at New Years Eve we wouldn’t hear a single firework. The place is beautiful and set next to the amazing Grimblethrope Hall and has countryside as far as you can see. It’s has walks for you and your dogs in any direction you need to go as well as farm animals to say hello. The Shepherds cottage we stayed in was all one level and more than enough space for two people and dogs. The Cottage was extremely clean and had all the amenities that you need and a few extra ones added which was a nice surprise. We would definitely recommend and we look forward to going back. Book this for a beautiful quiet countryside retreat and you won’t be disappointed at all.

Right from the first moment, Nicola made sure we were comfortable and well supplied with everything we needed, including coming over with extra candles and torches when there was a storm and a black-out! We were very comfortable in the cottage and found Tealby delightful - don't miss the Kings Arms which is friendly and serves excellent food. For outings we were well placed for beautiful walks and drives nearby. An Airbnb not to be missed!

  • The cottage is so comfy, right on the centre of the village and so well equipped. A cosy haven for a November weekend.

    Hattie2019-11-04T00:00:00Z
  • What a wonderful cottage. Cosy yet roomy. Had all the amenities you could desire (the big dishwasher was great!). The bedrooms are cute and the bathroom is gorgeous. We had wonderful communication from Nicola and welcome gifts of local cheeses, cake and a nice bottle of wine. We had a wonderful stay and wanted for nothing. Would definitely recommend! One note: there's no offstreet parking. This was fine for us as there's loads of room in the quiet street out front to park but if you have a prized Bentley or something you might want to add this to your consideration. Otherwise absolutely faultless!

  • A superbly appointed cottage with all the facilities you need to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. Nicola is a superb host and available to answer any questions you may have. Mobile coverage is a bit lacking, but we saw this as a positive. There is however, a good internet connection so you’re not completely isolated in case of work or other commitments. We had a great week and would happily stay again if we’re in the area.

  • A very comfortable stay awaits anyone who books this accomodation. It is hard to leave once you have settled into one of the comfy sofas with a cup of tea or glass of wine. Fantastic location in beautiful Tealby, with all the amenities you would need for an enjoyable stay. Highly recommended.

  • A lovely place to stay.

  • We had a lovely 2 night stay at Cheryl's cottage; it was a great base to explore the wider area. The cottage is really cute and very well equipped, including quite a bit of food which was appreciated. The loft conversion is really quirky and the kids enjoyed the free-standing bath! Downstairs did get a little cold but there are plug-in heaters that keep the place warm. Parking is easy and there were always spaces in the car park adjacent to the property. We left some baby bottles at the accommodation and Cheryl sent them straight back, which was appreciated.

    Jayne2019-07-21T00:00:00Z
  • Quaint little cottage with all the amenities you could ask for. I stayed 3 weeks with 3 young children (8 and under) and was delighted with all the provisions. A fully stocked fridge and super little pantry meant I didnt have to fuss about getting breakfast in the first few days. Wonderful touches for the young children - multi pack cereals, mini yoghurts, cheese and bread. Tea and coffee all there along with jams, sauces, gravy granules, tea towels, kitchen roll (I could go on etc.) Children loved superhero bedding and audio books. A little home away from home. Cheryl and her family are lovely. Highly recommend.

  • Panjaks home is in a lovely little village, very quiet and peaceful. The home is very comfy and spotlessly clean. We enjoyed our stay, the bed was very comfortable and we slept well. Panjak was extremely helpful and very welcoming, he took a late booking from us and went out of his way to give advice as to where to eat and not to worry what time we arrived, which was very kind of him. Our room was very comfortable with everything we needed for a comfortable stay and the shower was really good, we also really appreciated the en-suite. We only stayed a night and wish we could have stayed longer. We can highly recommend Panjaks home for anyone looking to stay in the area. Thank you so much Panjak for your hospitality, we enjoyed our brief stay in your lovely home.

  • We had a very comfortable 3 night stay at the Smithy. Clare was very easy to communicate with before and during our stay. We booked very short notice and that appeared to be no problem. There was Milk, butter, bread, tea and coffee pods for the nespresso machine and a little basket of other complimentary goodies which was a lovely touch. Everything was extremely clean and comfortable and the bedroom and bathroom were lovely too, with plenty of space and storage. We went for a lovely walk whilst we were there. Thank you Clare for your hospitality.

  • I could not recommend this place any more! Such a beautiful place, modern and comfortable. On arrival we walked in to a freshly baked loaf of bread and a tray of breakfast goodies, biscuits and tea bags (Yorkshire tea woo!). This was much appreciated as we forgot to bring breakfast. There is also a coffee machine with pods provided and a bottle of milk in the fridge. Comfortable bed, cannot complain!

  • Beautiful location and spotlessly clean. Considering the current situation with covid-19 Melanie had sanitised everything that would have been touched. Lovely to spend some time away from the world!

  • A beautifully renovated space with everything you could wish for. Lots of thoughtful details, and lovely touches to catch the eye: this is one of the nicest Airbnb’s I’ve stayed in, certainly for this price. Yes, it’s by an A road, and you can hear the traffic so be aware of that if you’re sensitive to noise. But it’s also surrounded by glorious countryside and you can walk right from the doorstep b

  • Lovely light and airy cottage in a great country location. Stylish and plenty of space. Just watch your head in the bedroom which is up in the roof space! Great quality throughout. Highly recommend it for the price.

  • Perfect combination of country living with mod cons for comfort. Beautiful fields to walk around from straight outside the property as well as horses to say hello to. Lovely little touches such as hand creams, herbal teas and ear plugs! The host welcomed us like a family member and had great hints and tips for local walks and places to eat. We felt extremely at home and could have happily stayed much longer.

  • Heaven! Beautiful cottage. Located in easy reach of beautiful villages and the east coast. Dog friendly and our little dog loved it there too. Absolutely spotless and purposely set out for your every need. We didn’t want to leave (check out at 10am and it was 9.59am that we made ourselves drive away) we are already planning our next (and longer) stay. If you are after a relaxing peaceful break away from it all... this is the one! Also thank you to Melanie who offered us many tips for our evening meals out and daytime adventures. See you again!
