The Castrum

The 3-star cottage (CDT 31) is set in an old house from the thirteenthcentury that overlooks the vast village square and is part of the old medieval castrum (fortified square) whose thickness of some walls and murderers recall the ancient origins of the place. The village is part of the land of Cocagne within the " triangle of blue gold" linking Albi, Toulouse and Carcassonne , a region full of history linked to the flourishing pastel culture and trade in the 14th century.
