Ancien café-tabac de village, entièrement rénové, notre maison de caractère vous accueille à Poil, au cœur du Sud-Morvan, sur les pentes du Mont Beuvray. Nous avons pensé la maison pour les séjours en tribu : cuisine ouverte équipée, 6 chambres, grande pièce de vie, 3 salles de bain. Grand jardin avec BBQ et activités sur place : piscine sécurisée connectée, ping-pong, trampoline, basket, pétanque. Lieu paisible en coeur de village, idéal pour se ressourcer, qui n'est pas adapté aux fêtes.

The old village school

The old school/schoolmaster's house is on the edge of a tiny village where there's no shop, no café, so you’ll need a car. It's very rural here, with views across the gently undulating countryside from the school. Two small towns with supermarkets - La Machine and Cercy-la-Tour, are both about 11 kilometres away. Decize, a much larger town on the Loire, is about 18 km away. There are two double bedrooms, and another small one with a triple-layer bunk bed suitable for children.

The house is connected to a spring which can cause a drop in pressure if everyone draws water at the same time, access to the free municipal swimming pool.

A 3-minute walk from the Arroux, enjoy fishing and the many hiking trails (GR 131), you can also go mountain biking or canoeing. Discover cities like Autun, Paray-le-Monial, Beaune and the fascinating Temple of the Thousand Buddhas. Taste Burgundy wines and savor local cuisine. As a family, have fun at Parc des Combes or spend a day at Pal.

The gite has its own entrance and beautiful views of "chateau Ettevaux". It is a large, cozy, high living room with original oak beams and stone walls. Our domain is 17ha large with various lovely seating areas, a large vegetable garden and you can walk right into the woods!
