Amazing fisherman's paradise. Burt lake access across the road & boat launch is just 1/2 mile away. Lots of parking. Lots of space inside to get ready for a day on the lake and for prepping family meals. This place is ideal for humble fishing families looking for a warm bed, hot shower, good meal, and a great time in the woods! We are off the beaten path, 15 minutes to town. Unfortunately, there is NO TV or WiFi, and cell service can be spotty. Perfect place to turn off electronics & get away!

Beautiful sunsets & boat watching, home is right in the middle of a Nature Preserve! You will see Loons, Swans, Otters & Bald Eagles daily!

Clean, cute, and welcoming! PLEASE NOTE: Vanderbilt is a small, quiet town. For more things to do, visit Gaylord (8 miles), Boyne City (15 miles) or Petoskey (20 miles). Please do not book this space expecting otherwise. Thank you. This historic property dates back to the 1930’s-1940’s so please note this home is old and has a wall furnace in the living room, therefore closing the bedroom doors can make it colder in there during the winter months. There are space heaters in both rooms.

The Nunda Cabin is perfect for every up north adventure. We boast a HUGE parking area that can accommodate at least 4 full sized snowmobile trailers, boat trailers, and multiple vehicles. A short road ride will take you to trail head #7 on the snowmobile trails. It's also a perfect location to make a summer day trip to Burt Lake with your trailered boat. The cabin is centrally located for some amazing day trips throughout the area. A guest book is on site to offer some ideas.

The cabin is a cozy, real log cabin overlooking the woods, the meadow, our home and a vegetable garden. The location is within an easy distance to hiking trails, soccer fields, canoeing, snowmobile trails, shopping, swimming, skiing, and golfing. For a small fee there is a wood fired sauna available by special request. Snow shoes and are also available by special request. If you need more space ask about the two other Airbnb homes on our property.
