Anitra's place is pleasantly out of the way and provides plenty of space. It didn't quite get as warm as we might have liked but it got warm enough and we enjoyed the space and the amenities. Anitra was very friendly as well.

Perfect fishing place

This is a wonderful cabin with the best back porch to fish off of! We loved having the dock and boat ramp right there on the property!

We had a great weekend get away at Eric’s lake front cabin! We enjoyed dinner on the deck over looking the water cooked on the charcoal grill provided. There’s a space to launch your boat right next to the cabin and docks the tie up to. It was quiet and peaceful.

This is a fabulous place to spend a quiet and peaceful vacation. The cabin is beautiful with more than expected in amenities. The view from the deck in the evening makes you realize how loving God is to provide us with such beauty. Plenty of room inside and outside for my entire family. First vacation here but it will not be the last.

Excellent getaway! Secluded enough for privacy to fish off three docks. Clean and safe area for swimming right off the ramp or deck. Close enough to open water to make it easy to take the boat out quickly for tubing. Clean and neat with everything we needed. Highly recommended.

If you are looking for a nice cabin over the water look no further. We were able to sleep 4 adults and 3 children comfortably. We spent most of our time on the patio enjoying the beautiful view over the water. We went by boat to eat at Port Au Prince for supper one night. It was the perfect place to unwind from everyday reality and just relax.

We loved our stay here. The cabin is so cozy and was a really nice retreat for us as we drove through Louisiana on a roadtrip. Comfortable bed, nice porch, nice bathroom, and some basic kitchen amenities like a refrigerator and coffee maker. Gary was extremely hospitable. This place is a gem and we hope to find our way back sometime.

Me and my husband really enjoyed staying at the cabin!!! It’s very quiet, it’s a hidden gem, and super clean!!! Gary always made sure we had everything we needed!!! Gary is an excellent host!!! Always answered my text messages!!! I would highly recommend staying here!!!

The pictures does nothing for this place! This place is a peaceful beautiful retreat. The ponds are gorgeous , it’s a Camper’s heaven. They have firewood located through out the camp , just bring you some starter logs . There is cell phone service , I have AT&T. There isn’t much of a signal for tv watching , so don’t expect to watch tv unless your bringing your own Satellite. I love this place and I will be back !

What a hidden gem. Gary was great with communication and was very hospitable. Once we arrived he showed us our cabin and told us about the amenities on the grounds. Can't wait to come back!

Pictures aren’t doing this property justice. It’s secluded: but with cell signal. It’s beautiful: but pics don’t do it justice. It’s a mini state park with trails and fishing and hiking and bird watching. It’s a very underrated stay in north LA.

Such a quiet, calm, and relaxing place to stay. My dog and I loved the big front yard and exploring the property and ponds in the back.

Bonnie's bed and breakfast was absolutely wonderful! Bonnie was very easy to communicate with and was a fantastic host. She really did take care of everything. The breakfast in the morning was great and even had the opportunity to have some lovely conversation over coffee. The accommodations were also very inviting and comfortable. I would absolutely say here again.

Ms. Bonnie’s place is amazing. She greets you with open arms, warm hugs and heart felt chats and still manages to make you breakfast every morning of your stay. I am looking forward to another stay.

Beautiful home with tons of charm. The place was spotless, and FULLY stocked! We wanted for nothing. Located close enough to a store for convenience, but tucked away enough to be quiet and peaceful. I wouldn't hesitate to reccomend this home, as well as Sara as a host! She is very thoughtful, and even checked in with us when she heard about possible issues with water pressure in the area. I was nervous about the lack of wifi - but there was cable, and some board games, so we were able to spend some quality time with each other! 2 thumbs way up! Thanks Sara!

OMG! What a wonderful place to stay! We had a rushed weekend going to a Mardi Gras Ball in Springhill and glad I stumbled upon this fabulous place. After investigation hotels and motels in the area, was just fixing to resort to going into the Shreveport area. So glad we didn’t! Thankyou for offering this great gem in the middle of this area!

I've stayed at this unit multiple times. It's is always sparkling clean and the Hosts are some of the nicest folks in Louisiana. The Tatums are super responsive if you have a question or concern.

my family and I stay at the Tatum's home let me tell you it was the best experience for an Air BNB, it was better than a hotel. we felt so welcome, y'all they had the fridge stock with drinks and if you drink coffee they had it too, they hit all the marks down to the amount of towels for each bathroom. when I come back to Grambling I will always check for vacancy before booking a hotel.

I only stayed one night at the property as I was just passing through, but my hosts were great conversationalists that opened their home to me with a great breakfast to start my day. Good location between Monroe and Shreveport.

Chris has an amazing location and is one of the best host's I've ever had. He responded so quickly and is extremely accommodating. His location is cozy and beautiful and the bayou's beauty did not disappoint.

Chinquapin is a wonderful place to relax and chill. We had a nice family Thanksgiving week there. It's a nice drive to I-20 traveling to or from east or west. The house is comfortable and cozy. Everyone loved the porch and the wonderful gathering table. The yard is beautiful. You are surrounded by nature and magnificent pine trees. Plenty of room to spread out. Chris was very helpful and quick to respond to questions. Highly recommend this retreat to anyone.

Great stay, beautiful piece of property for the country feeling. Would highly recommend it if you like piece and quiet.

You will receive a door code the day you check in, which is nice because you can also lock up anytime you leave. We managed to fish, even though the lake was down. We also played disc golf over at the state park and games on the porch table. The area is very relaxing, and we brought all of our own food and cooked. The kitchen is well stocked, so don't feel like you have to bring anything there. You will also have plenty of towels and places to sleep. I recommend this house as a great place to unwind for a family or small group. There were 7 of us, and that was just right.

This is a cozy house with enough space for family to spread out and giant table in the front room where we can gather together. Rope bed is so peaceful. Chris was very accommodating and made sure we had what we needed. It has a nostalgic feel to it, like you spent time here as a kid...sitting on pier waiting for a fish to bite or reading a book in the glassed in porch...SO PEACEFUL. We will definitely be back.

I’ll be honest, when I first booked this place I wasn’t sure if I was booking a fishing camp! But the location was great for where I wanted to be! To my surprise, it was a beautiful country home that my daughter, 6 granddaughters, and I fell in love with! Chris was great! Thank you for sharing this beautiful place!

This place is a true Garden of Eden. Beautiful plants and landscaping surrounds the cabin and the trail. Thoughtful touches in the cabin and Gary is full of tips on best places to eat in the area. You will not regret booking a stay here!

First amd foremost,Gary, was a gracious and down to earth host. He greeted us upon arrival with a warm and friendly smile. The space itself is immaculate with spectacular views. It was way more than I expected and the pictures truly do not reflect the beauty of the area. So, let's talk about the inside of the cabin... It was spotless with the fresh smell of cedar which accented the room perfectly. The decor, although minimum, was the perfect balance giving you that "at home" feeling." And the jacuzzi tub-Yes jacuzzi....was the perfect amenity as you melt away all your stress. And as if that was not enough, the outdoor scenery added the cherry on top with beautiful plants and landscaping. It was as though we were in a tropical oasis. Such beauty and tranquility! We didn't even need mosquitoe spray. I will say this: If you are searching for a romantic getaway away from the hustle and bustle, choose this place.

Honestly if you’ve ever visited Grambling or surrounding areas, you’re already know what to expect when it comes to where you can possibly stay. This house was so beautiful, modern, updated, and in the BEST location. The details are phenomenal. There were extra linens for numerous amount of guests. They even provided us with a welcome gift. Jacqui went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and everything worked and was in place. I was in love! The only thing I would suggest is investing in a washer and dryer, being that the house is suitable for groups, having the ability to wash a few things (just in case) would’ve been helpful.

Perfectly, perfect! My family and I loved everything about this home. It is beautiful, well kept and furnished with everything we needed to feel at home. The decor is that of a contemporary cabin with all of the conveniences of a downtown condominium. This place is perfect for family time away or hosting cozy events around game time! We had a small dinner party and a wine and cheese event, and the home proved perfect for entertaining. Our guests thoroughly enjoyed every inch of the entertaining areas. My husband and father especially enjoyed the entertainment room in the basement. And I believed my favorite feature was the speakers system that allowed me to play my choice of music all over. Oh and I loved the walk in closet in the master. It was the perfect place to store our formal attire for the campus gala. Honestly, I loved everything about this place. Even the bed linens and towels were were fabulous! The host and hostess are wonderful. The user friendly security system help me to feel even more safe. The home is in walking distance of the school and nestled a-front a soothing and peaceful forestry view. And the recommended caterer, Fry Daddyz Katering and local Legends mart are the best! To sum it up, this little piece of heaven is perfectly, perfect!
