An exceptional place to relax and stroll in peace. The owners are super friendly and available.

Prepare for a breathtaking scenery when arriving at the camp! Surrounded by mountains you'll stay at a remote place only consisting of a handful of huts. You'll find no wifi here, but will not miss it at all. Just enjoy the sunrise in the camp, try to watch wild animals on the mountains with a binocular or sit at the fireplace in the evening. Water is getable from a nearby spring and is also used for showering in the camp, so it might get a bit colder. ;-) Goran and Dejan will usually offer breakfast and dinner, so you can enjoy balkan food. The hosts will provide you with many tips on the local area and can recommend different activities and hiking trails. If you ask, you can get picked up at the main road, so you don't have to take the offroad-track. The bungalow was very clean, the beds were comfy and warm, even in the colder nights of the mountains. We would recommend the place to everyone who likes the wild beauty of the mountains and enjoys remoteness, couples, friends and families, for us even having a baby with us was no problem, thanks to the hospitality of Goran and Dejan.

Stayed here for 2 nights with my friend and we had an amazing time. This place is a hidden gem and Goran and Dejan make you feel more than welcome!

The host is very nice and welcoming. He came at the restaurant to bring us to the camp since it could have been really difficult to go there on a motorbike and he brought up back as well which was very kind. He also cooked a delicious diner for us. The location might be difficult to find but the place is really beautiful. From there, you can go hiking or simply enjoy the view on the mountains. Everything has been built by the host, it is very impressive. The cabin was very nice and cosy. The toilets/bathroom were clean, as well as the room. There is a place where you can charge your phones if you need and water is available from the spring. We definitely recommend this place !

Priroda posvuda, prizori od kojih zaostaje dah, noćno nebo kakvo nikad niste vidjeli, divni domaćini. Ne postoji riječi kojima se ovo može opisati i ako itko dvoumi, neka ode i uživa.

When we arrived we read that the pictures could not evoke how beautiful it was and we thought that people were exaggerating a little. But everything is true. Nature everywhere, breathtaking scenes, a night sky like you've never seen, wonderful hosts. There are no words that can be described and if anyone doubts, let him go and enjoy.

This place is a hidden gem! Dejan picked us up at the restaurant and drove us up to the camp where we had an amazing view to the mountains. He prepared us dinner and served us some drinks. At night we had a clear view of the night sky and the stars were so bright! In the morning Goran greeted us and made us some delicious breakfast and we had great conversations before he recommended a short hike for us. When he got back he took us on an off-road detour to give us even greater views of the mountains before dropping us off at the restaurant. I would highly recommend staying here if you have the chance. Thank you Goran and Dejan for the amazing hospitality!

A great place on the edge of the Sutjeska National Park in Bosnia near the border with Montenegro. Incredible nature. Great hiking opportunities. Goran and Dejan have created on their own a camp with a relaxed atmosphere and a great natural panorama. My family and I felt incredibly comfortable and will definitely be back.

Very surprising stay at the mountain camp. Dejan picked us up at a restaurant and after a drive on a very rocky road for 4 km we ended on a place with one of the most beautifull views ever. The cabin is small but everything is there and very clean. Dejan made us a nice diner and breakfast. Very friendly guy. We loved it!!

In the Mountain Camp Izgori you can expect untouched nature in front of a wonderful mountain scenery. The two hosts Goran & Dejan are very active and always eager to make their stay as pleasant as possible for their guests. Especially for Western European tourists, who are unfamiliar with the local conditions, the cordial nature of the two hosts is a great asset. Consciously, the two have chosen the seclusion of the mountains for their camp and limited the number of guests to a nature-friendly limit. So never more than about 15 guests can be found at the camp at the same time. The camp itself has a casual atmosphere. On request, the hosts prepare breakfast and dinner and do shopping for their guests. However, it is not a problem to bring your own food. The real star of the camp, however, is nature. Away from the mass tourism, a very pristine mountain world has been preserved with a breathtaking variety of plants and animals, which has not been present in Central Europe for a long time. For mountain hikers as well as alpinists the region offers many attractive destinations. Within the National Park, there are a number of well-marked trails, but there are no marked hiking trails outside the National Park, so you have to find your own way to the mountain, which is usually no less attractive.

This place is really special; stunning views and great friendly hosts, clean and nice. It’s a perfect escape from urban cities, especially for real nature lovers and hikers. Would like to get back here soon.

This is possibly the most stunning place I have ever slept. In fact, it was a collection of superlatives: The stars at night were the brightest and clearest that I'd ever seen. The water from the spring was the best I'd ever tasted. The view from our front door was like something from a Caspar David Fredrich painting, midway up a mountain, really, really in the middle of nowhere. Goran was a wonderful host, present when helpful, invisible when we preferred to be alone. Unlike most of the cabin sites in the region, which cater to rafters, this is built for those who want to hike through--or just bask in--the stunning, legendary mountains around Sutjeska.

The place is really somewhere in nowhere. You should be aware that you are completely in the pampa without electricity and Wi-Fi. Accordingly, one is but completely in nature, which is very relaxing. The food of Jelenas mother is amazing and must be booked!

Wonderful place with lovely and warm hosts. We got closer to nature, forgot about cell phones and had a sense of home. We enjoyed homemade food, peace and quiet. Ideal location for exploring Zelengore and the surrounding mountains. We will definitely be back. An absolute recommendation!

Our stay at Jelena’s was really nice ! If you’re looking for calm, authenticity, to get away from the world or just your phone, it is the perfect place. You need to know that it’s countryside, so there is insects and all, but for us it was exactly what we were looking for

We had a great stay in this Air Bnb. Unfortunately we didn’t meet Jelena in person, but her parents took really good care of us and Jelena was always available via phone. The place is just stunning. In the middle of nature. The huts are really cute and comfortable. Jelena helped us with organizing our hiking trip. All in all a great experience!

This place is a hidden gem in pure nature of Bosnian mountains. If you are looking for abandoned place to stay without crowds of tourists, this is exactly what you are looking for. Even the way to the cottage is adventure and I recommend this to everybody who is looking for such kind of places.

Peace and quiet, access road only with good suspension, but if you like to be away from cities, this is the perfect place.

Very honest place to stay in the middle of the Bosnian forest. The location is very remote and the night sky is incredible. There's also a friendly cat and some goats (you can try their milk and cheese for breakfast - unique and traditional products but have to admit quite not for everyone). Jelena wasn't there and her parents don't speak English but they call her if you need anything, so that wasn't a problem. There's all the basic amenities and the place is comfortable.

Everything was perfect and my girlfriend and I had a nice stay. The parents from Srdan are managing the guesthouse and he is the contact person. His parents don’t speak any english but that wasn’t a problem.

We were very well received by Obrad's wife. The bed is comfortable and it is a very quiet place. The next morning we forgot that breakfast was included in the rental, and we took it from our side. So, Obrad's wife was kind enough to prepare sandwiches.

The apartment is simple but well-located! There is a shop right next to it with extremely nice and welcoming people working there. From the apartment you can reach good hiking spots by car easily. All in all: very good!

Srdan was a great host! Easy check in and nice Apartment- clean and cozy. :) A shop is really nearby the Appartement and all the guys have been very friendly there!

Srdjan was a great host! Directly in the house is a small Mini-Market with all the essential stuff you need. Appartement is pretty close to the road to Sluteska national park.

The flat is a little rustical, but it alings perfectly with the charme of the national park. We really enjoyed our stay there. Srdan´s familiy was there to welcome us and they were really lovely. Even though they spoke little english and we don´t speak a word bosnian, they made us feel welcomed. Every time we met his parents, they offered us coffe. We had a wonderful time. Besides this, the knife they have in the kitchen was surprisingly very sharp! I would go there again :)

Jelenas place is ideal if you want to experiance the beautifull nature of Bosnia and learn more about rural life. I would recommend to stay there min 3 nights if you want to have a little sense of the area. Ordering to food from here mom is ideal to learn more about local foodhabbits. Also if you want to experiance the nature and go fro longer hikes starting from here place it would be good to take here advices really serious since in i experianced over there that Bosnian mountains are the last true wilderness in Europe.

We had an amazing journey at Jelena's place! We stayed there for 10days and it was absolutely Perfect! Jelena and Her family are really kind and welcoming people, always ready To help you in any situation. Thé place is gorgeous, perfectly what we wanted : appart from society but its own small society somehow! There are a lot of lakes around, gorgeous mountains To climb ; you Will not get bored !! Dont hesitate To go at the neighboors who are also lovely people and who sell fresh milk, eggs, yogurt, kajmak (type of butter). You can get fresh vegetables from the big garden that Lioba (Jelena mother) is taking care off. She also can cook like a chef if you ask. I could write much more but you guys have To discover by yourselves ! Thank you Jelena and all your amazing family, we Will never forget this expérience! Maybe see you soon ;)

The people are so sweet, we had an amazing stay. You can really come here to unwind. You should definitly include breakfast and diner in your stay. It's a great place to do nothing and rest, but your hostess has some great tips if you do wanna explore the environment. Don't forget to watch the stars at night, there are not a lot of places where you still can see that many stars.

A hidden paradise between the mountains. We came to this stop after a very busy and touristic Sarajevo. Not just the literal air gave a fresh breathe, also the lovely secludedness. Jelena was very helpful in explaining the way to the bungalow, where her parent's where waiting for us. Her parent's cooked for us, breakfast and dinner, and it was incredible. Local Bosnian food, from two very sweet and adorable people. The only difficulty was with the communication. While Jelena was very quick to awnser every question, her parents don't speak a word English. There are some booklets with English to Bosnian words and sentences, but we were lucky there were other guests that could translate for us. Besides that, with hands and gestures you can come a long way. To summerize, a place to walk in peace during the day and watch the countless stars at night. Definitely want to come back here. Jelena, do the best wishes to your parents from me and David!

This place felt like paradise to us. The location is absolutly stunning. We easily rode our motorcycles along the scenic gravel roads thinking that most cars can handle these roads. Visit Jelena if you want an unik experience and please taste her moms food, it's really good and show does vegetarian as well.

It was a fantastic experience staying at Vrbnica. Hiking with wild strawberries and blueberries, a little zoo with goats, horses, cats and cows, toys for children and a fantastic view! Many people recommended the dinner, so we tried as well, and we were also very much impressed. As written by others, the dirt road shouldn't be underestimated. It took us more than 2 hours and scratches and stone bumps on the car are almost guaranteed.

Had a great stay here. Perfect location near the Tjentiste Monument and the entrance to Sujetska National Park. Apartment was clean and spacious, more than enough room for 2 people with a very functional kitchen and hot water.

Tjentiste was our base for hiking on surrounding mountains. We had a very pleasant stay at Srdjan's. His place is comfortable and well equiped. His heated clothes drying grid was very helpful to quickly dry our gear as this was an exceptionally humid summer. The flat is quiet, well placed in relation to the nearby road that didn't bother us. We met Srdjan ones and he was very welcoming. Recomanded.

Nice and clean apartment if you want to stay in the Sutjeska National Park. The accommodation has everything you need and the communication was good. The hosts were one of the most hospitable family I ever met.

It's exactly as described, host is very friendly, there is a minimarket below apartments which is opened till late night. The place is safe and clean.

Apartment is at the very good location if you want to visit amazing Sutjeska National Park. Most of the hiking tours start from close by and even if you come without a car it is always possible to hitchhike to places where tours start or to use tourist offers that hosts provide. Besides, there is a store in the same building, a few restaurants that you could reach on foot and a nice place to swim is just across the road. What specially amazed us is the hospitality of Srdjan and his parents. They were amazing hosts, always available to offer us all kind of help that we needed. We would highly recommend everyone wanting to spend a quiet vacation in truly amazing nature to stay at this place!

What a location! Goran's camp in the mountains is utterly breathtaking and the perfect place to explore the area, or just to relax and soak in the view. The hospitality from him and Dejan was second to none - we didn't want for anything, and the honesty policy for the delicious meals was well received. The drive up is dicey, as others have said and you need to have a strong nerve to do it, but Goran escorted us the whole way. The walks are also incredible, but the hike to Badnjine is really, really tough, but the views very worth it.

If you ever have the chance to go to Bosnia, this is the place to be. Goran and Dejan are such great hosts and we had a wonderfull time!

Amazing place! It is a bit of a challenging trek to get to it, but it’s well worth it for the stunning scenery, and utter and complete quiet and remoteness. Wonderful, unique experience in the heart of Bosnia!

Goran was a wonderful host. He was waiting for us until 11pm as we couldn’t manage to arrive earlier. The road up to the camp was doable with our car, and totally worth the view that’s waiting for you when you get there! This was a billion star stay as we’ve never seen this amount of stars. The next morning Goran brought coffee to our cabin and welcomed us with a homemade breakfast. Thank you for everything, it was a real pleasure!!!

Goran’s place was great, the most beautiful location and really isolated. The track down was doable in a rental car, although Goran offered to drive us whenever we needed. Goran was very hospitable, giving us lots of food and packed lunch. The local tips on how to climb Mt Maglic and get to the lake we’re really helpful. Thank you!

We stayed there for two days and did some short day hikes. It has a super nice view of the mountains and can unwind. Goran catered to us on both days and was just a very nice host.

This place is stunning. Goran is truly King of the Mountain, with great advice on routes nearby, particularly as we were travelling with 2 children under 5. We were made really welcome and it was incredible to wake up, wash up, eat dinner with such an incredible view. And you are so isolated! No one else around for miles. It was perfect for us and Goran was a perfect host. Highly recommend. Basic but brilliant!

Beautiful apartment in a small village. Incredibly friendly, open hosts. The apartment was clean and comfortable, and there was a very cool wood-burning stove! We stopped by Srđan in November and the stove came in very handy, warmed by the whole family by the fire :) Thank you very much for the reception!

Great place in a great area. Lots to do including many hiking trails. Check in process was smooth and communication throughout with Srdan was great. We only stayed a night but it is a lovely and stylishly renovated apartment and i highly recommend it! It is also the closest place to the road that leads to the national park!

Friends of nature and animals, do not hesitate to come spend a few days to make the most of the simple but magical activities that will be proposed (hiking, swimming in a lake, evening around the fire ...). The road is not obvious but by rolling slowly it passes! Jelena's mother will cook you excellent meals and you will be welcomed perfectly by the whole family

Amazing location, in the middle of this beautiful national park of Zelengora, close to lakes... with nights full of stars... Everything cared with love: room super clean and cozy, amazing food from the garten, reading next to the fire in the night... jelena’s family works as a nice team, they make you feel really welcome and cared! The property is in pure nature. Suitable for hikers, close to mountain lakes, medows and alps. Tasty food. Worm hosts.

The road itself is an adventure youll never forget on it :) just drive slow and careful. It took us one and half hour. The other people that came after us required more than two hours. The accommodation is very special, dont expect fancy touches, but local natural style. The food is amazing. The mother of Jelena cooks cery good. Dont miss the food! If I have the chance I would come again. Our children enjoyed a lot the goats, cats, pigs, cows, nearby river, ... we also made a trip up in the mountains. Thanks again to Jelena’s parents for the excellent hospitality!

Top location, super friendly host. I bit hard to get there, but we'll worth it. Remote and yet comfortable. Great food (local produce) and great helpful people that make it.

Probably one of the most authentic stay one can have in rural Bosnia and Hercegovina. To get there one must accept a 45 minute ride on 14km gravel road. Once arrived expect an absolute cutoff from civilization. No TV, no Internet, no shopping, no distractions at all. That has left us enough time to entirely dedicate ourselves to our children. The accommodation is simple but good enough. Jelena's parents are very nice and one can enjoy fresh products from their garden, goats and cows. The food prepared by Jelena's mother is delicious and the starry nightsky is overwhelming.

We spent only 2 days in this corner of Bosnia, an oasis of tranquility and relaxation amidst wild nature. The morning rain that forced us part of the indoor time gave us the opportunity to get to know Jelena and her wonderful family. We immediately felt at home, pampered as if we were long-time friends. Jelena's mother spoiled us with her tasty and always abundant dishes. 12 hours have passed since our stay and we are already looking forward to the next one!

This is a great place to stay in and a perfect location for the Sutjeska National Park. Hosting and food is outstanding. Milan, thanks for your fantastic hospitality and all the help and tips for hiking. Staying here, along with the beauty of Sutjeska, was a highlight of my holiday.
