Fabrizio is one of those people who are really passionate about life in contact with nature who do not use it by speculation, but respect it in harmony. Her hospitality is above average. More than an overnight stay, I would call it an "experience" attached and connected to everything a few days can offer in this peaceful place.

If you are looking for a unique experience it love the outdoors and rustic life, this is the place for you. Fabrizio is a wonderful and accommodating host and guide. We arrived very late but he still had a warm meal for us to eat. If I get a chance to come back with some friends, I will certainly try to reconnect in order to have him as a camping guide.

The place is lovely if your place is being with nature! Fabrizio is an expert connoisseur of the forest and not only, it was very pleasant to share time with him. And he was very considerate of us.

Fabrizios place is just unique and it's an awesome experience to stay there. As written in the description: this place is for people who love nature. You will be surrounded by mountains, forrest and the babbling of a mountain brook. Hiking shoes are a must to manage the way up from the parking place. The house is much more cosy than I expected it from the pictures. Simlpy furnished but very clean with comfortable beds and a wood heating. There are no doors between the rooms but this didn't bother me. When you decide to stay here, you get with Fabrizio a super nice and considerate flat mate and certificated mountain guide on top:) He is a really attentive host with a pure soul. I really enjoyed hiking, cooking and talking together. I would highly recommend to visit this place!

Unique experience. Fabrizio is a truly exceptional person, kind, extremely available, he has taken care of us since before we got to when we left. He showed us and accompanied us in beautiful walks, he cooked us (he makes a pizza that even in a pizzeria!), He found the breakfast ready every morning. Totally worth the price. Amazing place for multiple friend groups or families. Big kitchen for cooking, 10 min from resteraunts. It also has an amazing view of corno grande. I live in napoli and travel to mtn towns pretty often, and this is the besy value i have found.

New Year with special friends. The host did find us already fireplace and radiators turned on when we arrived. Large spaces, all clean, breathtaking views under the mountains. At home nothing is missing, there is every kind of thing, the kitchen is complete; there are all kinds of tools, pots etc. 5-star experience! All my friends fell in love with this house; surely we will come back for some other occasion.

The house is in a great and quiet location, even the parking is easy to access. The apartment is very large, clean and equipped with everything you need. The owner is very kind and also available with check-in and check-out times.

The apartment is located in a building not yet completed, so access is via three flights of stairs that are still unfinished. Inside it is completely furnished and equipped with all services, with maximum attention to detail. The location (Fano a Corno, fraction of Isola del Gran Sasso) is easily reachable from the Rome-Teramo highway, and ideal as a base for excursions in the Gran Sasso National Park.

If you have doubts about this place because one negative review, I can assure you that it will exceed all of your expectations. Nicola’s place is spotless, clean, and spacious. We thank Nicola and Maria for their hospitality, even though the building is still under construction , the apartment is impeccable in cleanliness and furnishings and very large: we were 4 adults and 3 children and there was plenty of space, including the possibility of staying in the garden and having a barbecue. We stayed two days in this apartment in Cerchiara to visit a couple of places in the Gran Sasso that were still missing. It was me, my wife and our 11 month old twins. The house is a mountain house, very large and spacious, in the double room we put two camp beds to have the children attached to us, the kitchen room is very large. The apartment is dated but very clean and comfortable, the environment is spartan, but there are beautiful spaces, very recommended for 4/6 people who want to go hiking in the mountains. Maybe it lacks some small comfort but overall I recommend it very much, value for money is right, the host is kind and helpful, I believe that when we return to the area I will contact you again.

Beautiful house on a hill in the small town of Castelli (you have to take a walk if you are interested in ceramics). We have lived in three, but the house has 2 bedrooms, so in 4 it will be fine. We had everything we needed, but the most fantastic are the views around us! Silence and beauty. And of course, Campo Imperatore. The mountains here are not worse than in Trentino. Daniela's house is a unique place of rest. Here you can find yourself and enjoy the breathtaking views. At breakfast on the terrace you can see and hear the impressive nature! Day and night the animals come up to the house. By car, you can quickly reach the Campo Imperatore plateau from where you can start wonderful walks. But also directly from the front door nature invites to wonderful walks and walks. The decor is simple but you have everything you need to live and cook. A big plus is the basic equipment of spices, oil and vinegar, which is missing in many accommodations. The two bedrooms are very tastefully decorated and stylish. A great plus goes to the wonderful ceramics of Giancarlo Sciannella which adorns the accommodation!

Daniela's "little house", besides being very welcoming, has a spectacular view of Mount Camicia and the peaks of this part of Gran Sasso. We stayed for 5 days and it is an excellent starting point for various excursions, both in the area and by car to the more distant areas. The house is well connected although when you are there it seems to be isolated from everything. It has everything you need to relax while admiring the scenery .... and what about the Gran Sasso, a wonderful discovery. Highly recommended

At the foot of the Gran Sasso, but right below. It is a magical place and it is truly a unique sensation to wake up under the presence of the Mountains, completely immersed in greenery.

Wonderful location, amazing house, magical place.

Daniela's lovely and cozy house is way nicer than the pictures show. Position is amazing, secluded enough to feel in contact with nature (can't tell the deep emotion of being surrounded by the magic shimmering lights of the fireflies when sitting in the patio at night) but still very close to the village. You feel the embrace of the mountains protecting you and when you turn around...the dolomitic landscape is simply breathtaking whereas in front of you the mountain leaves way to sweet hills mildly sloping down to the Adriatic sea, which is pretty close. We haven't met Daniela in person but she prepared the house for us with a gentle touch of true hospitality and any interaction has been easy and comfortable all the same. That's not something we normally say just for the sake of saying it, but we'd be very glad to come back and stay again in this charming house.

The house of Daniela is a little piece of paradise in the Abbruzzo. We enjoyed the place and the region, starting point for many beautiful walks, passable even in December to a certain altitude.

The house is truly a nice house. And well furnished, I like the tiles on the windowsill and blow them! The place is also quiet with wonderful views. We had some misfortune, because the fridge is water and it did not work anymore, I think it is old. "You solved the problem right away. Nevertheless there was a good stay! Old mountain house with great personality, equipped with what it takes to spend a quiet stay. There is no WiFi but there is the 4G of Wind, there is no need. Paths passing in front of the house, kind locals. There is a restaurant at 2 min, a grocery at 5 min, ATM, Conad, pharmacy, gas station, etc., at 5 km. All right!

A beautiful multi-storey house full of books and paintings, some painted by the same owner, with a fantastic view of the Gran Sasso summit. A convenient starting point for wonderful hiking in the area. After a few hours we felt like home!

We stayed at Beatrice for 8 days, you are a very timely and kind person, the house was clean and equipped with everything you could need, the terrace has a nice view, we hit the quantity and quality of the many books we are in home! The apartment is in a very quiet area where you can easily reach the most beautiful areas of Gran Sasso. We recommend going to eat in the bar bar just below, is run by a couple of cute guys, you eat well at cheaper prices!

The views from this place are amazing! The cottage is compact but had everything we needed for our one night stop. Giorgio gave us a great recommendation for dinner and helped us make reservations. He was quick to respond to our questions. The beds are comfy. The kitchen looked well stocked. We enjoyed our quick stop and would stay again!

Absolutely outstanding! With million dollar views of Gran Sasso mountains, in the close proximity of a major road from Rome to Giulianova on the Adriatic coast (only five km to the motorway entry - you don't hear it but it is there when you need it), and a top quality spacious villa with landscaped gardens and a mountain stream nearby. Good shopping in Teramo 20 minutes away, fantastic beaches of Giulianova, Pineto, Roseto, vineyards and Abruzzo mountain villages and Michelin, Slow Food and Gambero Rosso rated restaurants within an easy reach. Rome is 1 hour and 40 minutes by car. Our dogs had a fantastic time and so did we. Abundant supply of everything including firewood and a well stocked larder. Fireplace on every night and a top notch hi-fi (Marantz!) and piles of CDs.

We stayed in this house in the new year period for 6/8 people. Upon our arrival we were greeted impeccably and we were given advice on activities and places of interest in the surroundings. The house is well kept, with a large living room and a beautiful and functional fireplace. Kitchen equipped with new appliances and everything you need. On the second floor there are the bedrooms and a comfortable bathroom with washing machine. The view is breathtaking and you can fully enjoy the mountain quiet. Recommended for groups of friends.

Prati di Tivo is a beautiful destination for those who love walking and immersing themselves in nature. Giovanni, the owner, is a nice and friendly person. He warmly welcomed us into the house, explaining everything to us in detail and reserving welcome to us and our two little girls. He gave us exhaustive information on the destinations to reach and recommended places where you can taste something typical, always proving to be available to our requests. The apartment is beautiful and equipped with every comfort, nothing is really missing, we had a great time and if the opportunity arises we will definitely be back.

Recently refurbished accommodation in a great location for me (not too close to the busiest area of the meadows) in search of tranquility. The kitchen is brand new, clean and functional and very well divided from the living area that easily accommodates up to 7 guests. In 5 minutes walk you reach the center of the Prati where there are all the services and activities in the area. Giovanni was perfect and answered all my questions accurately. It will be the first choice pia the next time I return to the Prati

Giovanni's home impresses with the accuracy of the details. The kitchen is super equipped and the hot water boiler is of new generation that allows you to have hot water immediately and in abundance. We found ourselves at ease in this beautiful house, the cleanliness is perfect and I was also amazed by the size of the towels for the shower, you feel just cuddled. With Giovanni we have heard several times for a message and he always answered in a few minutes. Paolo's chalet is nested in a beautiful fairy like forest and a few minutes away from restaurants and Cafes. Paolo is a friendly and thoughtful host, who greeted us with a bottle of qine and provided us with useful tips about hikes and restaurants. It was worth every cent, i highly recommend.

We stayed at the home of Giorgio for 10 days in August, the place is beautiful, just below the Gran Sasso, surrounded by greenery, isolated, quiet, with a walled garden, a table for eating out, a beautiful view from the bedrooms, especially with the moon ... the house is comfortable and pretty, with lots of wood, almost a cabin. The kitchen and bathroom are a bit small but functional, the bedrooms and the lounge are comfortable and spacious. We have made some beautiful walks, even starting from Prati di Tivo. Giorgio is very kind, very cooperative, and responds immediately to messages. Recommended.

Lovely place surrounded by nature, full of trails for trekking enthusiasts. The chalet is comfortable and does not lack anything. Well maintained and fenced garden that for those who have a dog is the top. Wonderful place for those who need to break away from the stress of the city.

My partner and I stayed during a week of Christmas. The house is well positioned in the country and compared to Prati di Tivo. It is original but well distributed on the four levels. For us it was a particularity appreciated for others, perhaps it would be less. We were warm throughout the stay and the house was always well heated throughout the day. The kitchen is well equipped and equipped with an efficient and modern oven. For us the strong point was the fireplace. The wood was abundant and placed comfortably inside. In short, small house, original on 4 levels, well heated without humidity, well equipped, perfect for two people. The living room was optimal.

Beautiful minimalist house in the beautiful village of Pietracamela. Friendly and welcoming neighbors. We have found everything we need to enjoy our vacation. Excellent location in the village, easily accessible. It has a green outdoor space, shared with the neighbors, where it is possible to eat, let the children play and enjoy the mountain air. We recommend it to all those who love the most precious villages of Abruzzo and the opportunity to make wonderful excursions on the Gran Sasso.

The cottage is delicious. Located in the upper part of the particular village of Pietracamela it is ideal for a couple or two people: the atmosphere is intimate and welcoming and the perfect location to reach the Gran Sasso and Val Maone. The studio, very nice, is well maintained and looks like it has just been renovated. There are all the amenities you may need for a short mountain holiday, as well as a delightful garden. The house is located in the high part of Pietracamela, a beautiful and very characteristic hamlet. The country, among other things, is in a strategic position to reach the Gran Sasso without having to stay in the most tourist areas around Prato di Tivo. In addition to the house there are several trails that allow you to enjoy pleasant walks in the surroundings. Unfortunately, we just crossed the landlady Maurizio, Anna's father, who seemed to us very sympathetic and definitely knowledgeable about the hiking possibilities that the area can offer. In any case, we were able to give us emails and messages all the necessary information for a pleasant stay. Surely recommended to mountain enthusiasts, beautiful walks and in general Abruzzo.

Me and my 9 year old daughter had a really wonderful stay in Pietracamela. We were fortunate that Anna's lovely father was around in the village so he was able to greet us and show us around, advising on restaurants and walks. The apartment is gorgeous - cosy and well equipped and most importantly it has spectacular views over the village and surrounding mountains, both from the windows and from the little terrace in front. Pietracamela is the perfect base for hikers: we had two superb long hikes up to and even above the snowlike, building up huge appetites for the excellent dinners we had in the village. And then sleeping like babies in the peaceful house. Highly recommended!

Hello just to leave a comment post holiday: the place is wonderful, nestled between the rocks and with a breathtaking view ..... the apartment perfect for two .... there were other beds but there are not served as a couple; however, our little kitten was happy to explore the internal staircase and the upper attic. We hope to return soon, the locality Prati di Tivo and its peaks on the Gran Sasso are nearby, reachable in 10 minutes by car, and we have exploited at the better days when we were guests, with wonderful walks and hikes ... happy to come back in the afternoon in our lovely little house. to repeat! thank you Maddalena and Marco

The house is very pretty and welcoming. The village is beautiful and close to Prati Di Tivo. Everything is ok for a nice vacation in the mountains.

Francesco was very precise and helpful. The house is very pretty and very characteristic, faithful to what is the style of the village Pietracamela. The place is lovely, ideal for people like me who live in a big city and at times need to switch off from chaos and confusion.

Beautifully renovated apartment in the old part of Pietracamela with great views and excellent location. Simple and functional with contemporary bath otherwise as in the photographs clearly visible. Value for money unbeatable with to de 30 € per night. Very good and fast + very nice communcation. As a starting point for the Gran Sasso ideal! Fantastic environment with some breathtaking walks practically on the doorstep.

The house is a small jewel furnished with taste and with refined antique accessories, yet nothing is missing! Very convenient to have easy access to Prati di Tivo!
