Our Wooden Lodge with Hot Tub is in Dimmingsdale forest the surroundings are beautiful and peaceful. There is lots to do like rock climbing the Churnet valley Boulders, Eating and drinking at the 5 pubs of Alton. Walking the staffordshire way or exploring the many forest tracks on your doorstep. You may want a fun packed day at Alton Towers park or spa. Cook on the BBQ, sit on your tree swing or relax in our new Hot Tub or toast marshmallows on your fire pit and listen to the owls hoot.
The lodge is luxury glamping and has 1 bedroom and 1 shower room and 1 kitchen lounge area with log burner and DVD player, Books and Games. There is a ladder to the second sleeping area. The Lodge is best suited to 2 adults or 2 adults with their 2 children because the second bed is up the ladder in the eaves and is off the lounge. It is like a large bunk bed, so adults might find it a bit cramped sleeping in the eaves bed. Outside you have a large covered veranda with table and chairs, Charbroil 4 burner infrared gas BBQ with side burner, which can cook a Christmas Turkey, Lounge chairs and a garden area with a fire pit, tree swing and New for December 2018 a Wood fired Hot Tub.
The farm is situated up a private lane on the Staffordshire way foot path. It is very peaceful and the walking is beautiful. You can save on parking charges and walk the beautiful walk to Alton Towers in 25mins. The area has fantastic mountain biking and rock climbing.
  • What a lovely place to stay. Andy and Sally were helpful throughout, making sure the hot tub was ready for us on arrival as requested. The lodge had everything we needed! Would recommend and definitely stay again in the future!

  • My cousin and I stayed here in February and had a great time. The location is wonderfully remote, with great walks nearby. We had a lovely time in the woodfired hot tub, which stayed hot for so long! Definitely recommended.

  • This is lovely place to stay. Sally and Andy made us feel so welcome. The hot tub was amazing and they were extremely accommodating at helping us get it started! Would 100% recommend.

  • Great communication and a perfect place to go on long walks. Peaceful place.

  • Sally and Andy are wonderful hosts who were always available if needed, but never imposed. Their lodge is lovely with lots of homely touches. It’s the perfect place to relax in beautiful country settings. The surrounding woodland provides plenty of opportunity for walking, and Alton has a number of nice places for a drink or evening meal. The hot tub is perfect for relaxing and enjoying the beautiful surroundings. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing break in peaceful surroundings.

  • We had a brilliant weekend here! It was just the escape we both needed. We walked into Alton and had lunch at the Ramblers Retreat (a gem) but spent the rest of the time by the fire relaxing or tucked up in bed as the heated blanket made it so cosy! We found the wood fired hot tub hard to get heated on the Friday, so on the Saturday Andy helped us out which was great and once we were in, it stayed hot for AGES! The cabin's location makes it perfect for a weekend away by the forest. Tip from us: pack minimally as storage space is minimal. If we returned, we'd try the summer so that we can make the most of the lovely outdoor space and BBQ, but we managed using just the induction hob which is a really good idea for places like this. We loved our winter weekend here. Thanks Sally and Andy (and your lovely dogs!) x

    Helen2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • We visited with our two children and we all absolutely loved our stay. The place was just big enough for a short break, the kids loved the loft bedroom aspect and the hot tub worked perfectly well. Initially we thought that the hot tub would take a few attempts but it was very easy to get going and doesn't take long to heat up. The apartment was clean and had everything you need. The views are stunning and there is plenty to explore. We had lunch at the Ramblers Retreat followed by a good long walk. We would highly recommend this host and we will be coming back! Thank you Sally and Andy xx

Robin Cottage is a recently refurbished annex to Hewitt House, part of the Grade II Listed Hanchurch Manor (formerly a boutique hotel). Set over 2 storeys the accommodation has its own private entrance. The rooms are stylish and comfortable with views of the surrounding countryside with ample off road parking, a sunny courtyard and seating area. Designed by Charles Barry (architect of the Houses of Parliament) in the early 1800s, Hanchurch Manor was part of the Duke of Sutherland's estate.
Set in the beautiful Staffordshire countryside with stunning views, on-site we have a cat, horses and ponies and chickens. Downstairs there is an open plan living area with TV and log burner, and a modern kitchen with fridge, cooker and hob, and a downstairs toilet. We can provide travel cot and baby facilities upon request. One well behaved pet (small) is welcome. Situated within 5 minutes of J15 of the M6, we are very close to Trentham Gardens and Trentham Monkey Forest and conveniently located to Keele University, The Potteries, Wedgwood, Emma Bridgewater, Portmeirion, Alton Towers and the Peak District. There is plenty to do in the locality and some good walks from the house including Hanchurch Woods. There is a very good gastro pub 5 minutes drive away (or a quick bike ride if you are feeling energetic) and the local towns of Stone and Eccleshall are worth a visit.
  • The cottage was superb - incredibly clean and well kept, with everything we needed and more. Tracy was really helpful and even managed to help when we'd forgotten some critical things for our stay.

    Chris2020-03-15T00:00:00Z
  • Amazing little gem... Lovely setting, just wish we stayed longer to enjoy the surrounding areas. Loved the fireplace and little touches making us feel right at home. We will definitely be back in the summer. We highly recommend a restaurant locally to eat called The Wayfarer Stone and Emma Bridgewater Pottery.

  • A great place to stay, really stylish accommodation that’s spotlessly clean. Extra touches like breakfast makes it perfect

    Richard2020-02-22T00:00:00Z
  • A beautifully appointed cottage with spacious accommodation and great facilities. Tracy was a lovely, welcoming host and the nice little touches of fresh eggs and homemade jams for breakfast were delightful. We made the most of the cosy wood burner and had a relaxed stay. Would definitely recommend the cottage and would love to return. Thank you for a wonderful stay x

    Claire2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • Beautiful place and loads of space for 2 of us on work trip. Tracy was such a great Host even taking us to the shop so we could get some food as our train was late . We wish we had more time this morning to have cooked some breakfast with the lovely fresh eggs bread butter and milk that was left for us. We would definitely stay again if we are in this area

    Barry2020-02-06T00:00:00Z
  • Like to say a huge thank you! Took the family as a surprise weekend away and it was definite hit. Very helpful hosts and the cottage is absolutely beautiful. The kids loved feeding the Shetland ponies and playing with the toys left for them. Couldn’t fault it at all, has a real special feel, we will definitely be returning. Thanks again

    Chris2020-02-02T00:00:00Z
  • Fantastic place to stay. Tracy had the fire ready for us to light, essentials in the fridge, and had loads of local suggestions ready in the binder. She was really quick to respond with any questions and was kind enough to bring the ponies up before we left. An excellent place to stay, looking forward to staying again in the future.

  • A lovely cottage. Beautiful inside and out. One of the nicest Airbnbs we’ve ever stayed in. Tracey and David are great hosts - very welcoming and helpful. Kids got to brush and walk the ponies and feed the chickens/collect eggs. Highly recommended!

    Hurst Cottage
Find Hurst Cottage on the corner of a leafy green country road, in the village of Biddulph in Staffordshire, boasting large gardens and bursting with character inside and out, you will have an amazing time getting to know this lovely area. The property lends itself well to families and couples because of the open space and many nooks and crannies to explore, with the small river running through part of the garden making it truly unique.Park up the car and head down the stone steps, to the main door, and make your way into the lovely kitchen which is home to pretty pale blue cabinets and a wood counter tops, giving the room a classic cottage feel.A woodburning stove sits in the middle of the exposed red brick wall, and is accessible from the other side in the dining area, alongside a large grey stone feature wall where the original fireplace would have been years ago. This dining area has large windows with views out to the river down below, and with the windows open on a summer day, you can listen to the sound of the water flowing, while the birds sing in the trees.More incredible stonework features on the walls of the sitting room, containing sofas and chairs for you to make yourself comfy in, and why not have a chilled film night using the widescreen TV for those quiet evenings in.Upstairs there is a modern bathroom suite and next door is the master bedroom, adorned with solid wood furniture and a TV, while the second bedroom is twin.To the outside where you’ll hopefully be able to spend a lot of time (if the weather behaves!) you’ll find a bubbling hot tub, set into the decking looking over the rest of the beautiful garden, which stretches on for what seems like forever!Take a minute to discover this fairytale-esque garden; cross the little bridge over the river, run in between the shrubbery. The local area offers some great day out opportunities, like visiting Biddulph Grange, a National Trust owned house and landscaped gardens, with the gardens divided into many areas based on their influences around the world, or take a walk up to Mow Cop Castle, a hilltop stone tower, set on the ridge that forms the boundary between the counties Cheshire and Staffordshire.Day trips over to Chester, Liverpool or Manchester could be on the cards being all within an hour and a half drive away, so if you're not often in this area of the UK, head over to one of these bustling cities that all have so much to offer.Enjoy your holiday in a property full of character and interesting features like Hurst Cottage, and you will make beautiful memories.
  • Fantastic stay in an amazing location! The hot tub, terrace and gardens were perfect for us and Linnett was a great host. Would definitely return.

    Lee2020-04-13T00:00:00Z
  • We had an amazing 6 night stay. Very comfortable cottage, the log burners are fantastic. The standard of everything is excellent right down to the luxury bedding. We had excellent nights sleeps in the super comfy bed. Will highly recommend to friends and hope to be back asap.

  • The cottage is stunning, set in a peaceful location with beautiful surroundings. This is the second time I have stayed and I am coming back another two times this year! The water wheel was turning this time and we whiled away the hours in the hot tub surrounded by bird song and the running river next to us. Absolute heaven. Really comfortable with all amenities. Love it.

    Esther2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • It's absolutely beautiful.... The cottage, the garden, the location! A river runs through the bottom of the garden and just sat listening to the water and watching the waterfall and water wheel was wonderful. It's a short walk to a decent pub (Talbot) and close to the country park. Cottage was so warm, cosy and welcoming and the hot tub just perfect. We highly recommend Hurst Cottage!

    Harry2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • We were welcomed and shown around with lovely hospitality and friendly faces. We wanted a lazy, relaxing break and that's exactly what we got. With enough entertainment in the annexe, we didn't need to leave the room at all if we didn't want to! With takeaway menus, pool table, juke box and a sky tv.. was the perfect place to settle for the night. Kevin and Tracy also showed us some local pubs and restaurants for if we did want to venture out. Great decor and lovely clean, modern feel to the place. Breakfast was beautifully presented and just enough to have a pick at all the variety! Can't recommend this place enough! We will be back!!!

    Leah2020-02-15T00:00:00Z
  • Pool table 👍

    Simon2020-02-11T00:00:00Z
  • Absolutely spot on this place!! Great hosts, amazing place to stay! 100% recommend to anyone. Thanks again Kevin and Tracey you’ve got this air bnb down to a t. All the best. Adam

    Adam2020-01-23T00:00:00Z
  • We arrived at our check in and were greeted by Keving and Tracy. They welcomed us graciously and showed us how to get into the annex at the back .. the annex has 2 wonderful rooms. One is a bed room and the other is just nothing short of brilliant. The big room in the annexe had been turned into what must be one of the most unique experiences I have had on a travel. The 'old school pub' style to this room was such a fun and different thing. The entertainment is endless and the location is fabulous. We cant recommend this place enough and a huge thank you again to Kevin and Tracy for their hospitality.

    Omar2020-01-12T00:00:00Z
  • It was our second trip to the Annexe and everything was just as great as the first time.

    Patricia2019-12-29T00:00:00Z
  • A perfect little spot with great hosts! It is especially good if you want to keep the kids amused with a pool table and a skittles set. Mine also like the juke box and the disco lights! 😆 It isn’t ideal if you want to cook a meal for the family but as a place to relax it’s perfect.

    Ian2019-11-18T00:00:00Z
  • Kevin and Tracy were brilliant hosts, accommodating. The annexe was extremely clean and tidy. Owls Loft is a self contained holiday cottage with a private outdoor seating area and paddock. In a tranquil, rural setting, with views of the Cheshire Plain, this is a great place to recharge your batteries. It is well located to visit the Peak District, or get the train into Manchester from Macclesfield or Congleton. There are a number of National Trust properties within easy reach, as well as Alton Towers, Chatsworth House, the antique shops of Leek and the pottery towns of Stoke on Trent.
Owls Loft has a cosy cottage feel, but is spacious and comfortable. The kitchen and shower room are located on the ground floor and upstairs is a sitting room, with log burner, and a double bedroom. Outside there is a private patio seating area and you have exclusive access to a small paddock.
Owls Loft is on the edge of Biddulph Moor, a village in the Staffordshire countryside. We have 2 pubs, 2 shops and a school and we are just a few miles from Congleton or Leek, and any amenities you may need are available in Biddulph, just down the hill. This is a lovely area for walking, and we are just up the road from Biddulph Grange Gardens and country park.
  • Amazing location and lovely place to stay, would definitely return in the future.

  • Lovely little place. Perfect for dog owners. Thoughtful touches, dog towels and blankets and little paddock for the dog to run in. Very clean and stylish. Very comfortable. Five stars!

    Louise2020-03-13T00:00:00Z
  • If you are looking and thinking is this place as good as it seems ...then the answer is YES and more. Just book it and make sure you are ready to relax and just take it the fresh air and unwind for a few days. My only advice to anyone is to book at least three days and of course visit the local National Trust locations nearby ( 2 within 15 minute drive ).

    Terry2020-03-06T00:00:00Z
  • Sue's place was exactly as described in the other reviews, cosy, clean and homely. We stayed for three nights and could have stayed for more, the layout was a clever use of space which made it the perfect size. Owl's loft was equipped with everything we could have possibly needed, which was great especially as we love cooking when we're away. If you are looking for a walk definitely visit Lud's Church, about a half an hour drive away, Biddulph Grange Garden National Trust is also a must see. One thing I would say is if you were looking to visit a pub for the evening you'd probably have to get a cab as the property is down a lane that wouldn't be ideal to walk down. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking to stay, great location and very homely.

  • Lovely peaceful self contained apartment. Location ideal for our needs!! Thank you

    Jackie2020-03-22T00:00:00Z
  • Paul was a great host in that his communication was great and kept us in the loop at all times. On arrival the apartment was chilly despite Paul having sent a message earlier saying he’d put the heating on at 4.30pm and that it would be warm for us on arrival. We did discuss this later with Paul and established it was a technical error with the heating. We easily overcame the 8C room temperature by flicking the heating to manual and within an hour the room heated up to a more comfortable 16C. Later in our stay the room temperature went well above 21C. The apartment was clean, tastefully decorated with lovely plush carpeting throughout. The bathroom was modern, big and the shower was hot and powerful. The bedroom was also a good size and it was useful to have a well equipped kitchen. Also the nice touches like biscuits, hot cross buns and beers as well as cereals tea, coffee and milk added to the experience. I would definitely stay here again and recommend this property and thanks again to Paul for his great hospitality.

    Cheryl2020-03-15T00:00:00Z
  • My husband and I stopped off at Paul's place in between travels. His communication was fast and detailed - he gave great directions to the accommodation. The place was clean, tidy and stylish. We really appreciated the small homely things including biscuits and breakfast supplied. Would definitely recommend.

  • Communication with Paul was excellent , great host . The living space is very stylish & cosy . The bed was very comfortable. Lovely bathroom . Good base to explore the area although we were battered by storm Dennis so the great dvd collection came in handy as did the well equipped kitchen . Would definitely recommend and stay again if in the area .

  • Paul home was perfect for my short business trip Everyone was as featured on Airbnb Location was great and I would definitely recommend to anyone visiting the area

    John2020-02-13T00:00:00Z
  • The room is very clean, modern, comfortable, quiet and in a nice area, particularly with the views of the castle. We found it particularly helpful that most kitchen utilities were provided so we could cook. Paul also communicated very quickly and helpfully which we are most grateful for. Overall it’s a great space, very modestly priced from a kind and helpful host. Very highly recommended!!

  • Quiet, cozy , very clean, super comfy bed- what else do you need? Andy and Val are super nice hosts and made me feel at ease at their place- not that I saw much of them as the room enjoyed quite an independent position in the house. Highly recommended especially for professionals who are looking for a homely cozy place after work!

    Anna2020-02-03T00:00:00Z
  • Andy is absolutely the nicest person on earth. His hospitality and kindness were beyond imagination. The place was super-clean, comfortable, neat and cosy. I loved every single bit of it. Highly recommended!

  • Great place, Andy was really helpful with me arriving late after a shift at the local hospital, very accommodating.

    Kimberley2019-11-15T00:00:00Z
  • Great house, great host. Everything in the house is stylish, like new and spotlessly clean. Room is on the ground floor, and Andy spends most of his time on the first floor where he has a separate living room, so you don’t feel like you’re intruding on his private space. So many thoughtful touches, eg Andy had cleared a shelf for me in the fridge plus my own cabinet in the bathroom. It was easy to park outside the house at any time of day.

They were diligent, respectful, considerate hosts and ensured that the local council had verified we could stay due to our reason for travel, that the place that been deep cleaned and were quick to move their cars to ensure that we could come and go as needed. Additional good quality touches include remote controlled lights, high speed complimentary Wi-Fi and the all-important USB charging points. Tea and coffee making facilities plus a fridge/freezer are provided in the studio room, or a short step across the covered threshold will take you directly to your very own mini kitchen. A private outdoor terrace provides excellent opportunity for relaxed al fresco dining, and the covered hot tub with hotel quality bathrobes and slippers means you can enjoy the bubbly delights no matter what the weather. Cheddleton village is just over a mile away and is home to a good handful of shops, a tea room and food serving pubs. For steam rail enthusiasts the delightful Churnet Valley Railway is just a 5 minute walk away, and Cheddleton Flint Mill provides a nod to Staffordshire’s industrial past. Surrounded by lovely moorland countryside, the Peak District National Park can be reached in just 15 minutes as can a popular local wedding venue, or for those thrill seekers, Britain’s premier theme park Alton Towers can be reached in around 20 minutes. Finally the traditional, historic market town of Leek with its charming cobbled market place provides a wide selection of amenities and is less than 10 minutes away by car. Welcome to the all new Pamper Van, Ruby! This brand new mobile home is a luxurious rural retreat. The stunning secluded location will make you feel a million miles from anywhere, but there is plenty to do in the local area. Complete with hot tub Ruby offers a bespoke break for up to 4 people. Choose from a holiday for a girly break with pamper treatments or a romantic escape for two. Whatever you do, your woodland surroundings will work their quiet magic on you.
Whether you are in need of some much needed rest and relaxation, looking for some peace and quiet, or just want to escape into the country to explore Staffordshire’s surrounding attractions, The Pamper Van can accommodate your every need.
Located approximately 4 miles away from Fairboroughs Farm, Leek market town is a haven for lovers of antiques and factory shops and also has a weekly outdoor market selling an array of goods. The beautiful spa town of Buxton is a ‘must visit’ for any visitors to the area. Buxton lies just outside the National Park boundaries, but is the most important town for most of the western and central Peak. The site has been occupied since at least Roman times. The Romans were attracted by the warm springs and built baths here and for the following centuries the springs have been a major source of income and importance for Buxton. We are located in the Staffordshire Moorlands on the edge of The Peak District. A perfect base for sight seeing what the area has to offer. Alton Towers is approximately 20 minutes away.
  • Booking the pampervan won’t leave you disappointed, there’s a reason why Diane has such great reviews and a lot of it is because of her great extra touches - from the scones and Prosecco to the orange juice, eggs and milk. We were looking for a quiet secluded place with a hot tub and nice views and that’s exactly what we got. Thank you Diane we had a great stay!

  • We had a great 2 night stay at Queens court as we visited Alton Towers. It's a quirky place with some unique features such as the games room in the bridge. We were made to feel welcome with some nice gifts. We didn't really use the place to its full potential as we wanted to maximise time at Alton Towers but we can see it being comfortable for longer periods. Nice location for town centre, Lidl, Wetherspoons and of course Alton Towers.

    Andrew2019-11-02T00:00:00Z
  • Beautiful town house with a play room fit for any family.

    Mari2019-10-31T00:00:00Z
  • Stayed here in October for 3 nights and what a fab base it was. Leek itself is a beautiful town and the accommodation was in a great location to explore the town and a short drive to Alton Towers. The place was clean, tidy, warm and spacious. The kids loved the games room with a great range of games to keep them entertained. Check in was easy and host gave all the information required. Our next visit to Alton towers we will definitely book here again.

  • I have been staying in Richards place for 2 weeks. I got room with a private entry,. Noone bothered me during my stay. Richard is very nice and helpful person. As I've noticed he is also busy working yet always responded to my calls. House was as expected, little dirty in some places but for this price and a great host its a really minor issue. Really good deal! I would definitely come back to that place!

Bijou guest house, in splendid isolation! Stay in our converted piggery, built out of local stone and set in lovely grounds on the edge of Ipstones. Set back from a narrow country road which is barely trafficed, you will feel the stresses of modern life slip away. The Piggery is decorated as a tiny house, complete with its own shower and toilet and warmed by underfloor heating. The Piggery is a great base for visits to Alton Towers, The Peak District, The Potteries and for outdoor pursuits.
We are in the heart of the Staffordshire Moorlands, with walks into the Churnet valley on the door step. In September you can hear the resident stags rutting in the Churnet woods when the sun starts to set. You could walk down to Frogall by the canal and steam railway watching out for Kingfishers and with an ear open for woodpeckers. Hetty's tearoom is a lovely cafe/restaurant, recently opened in an old mill-building on the canal, which serves fabulous light snacks (the obligatory Staffordshire oatcake!) and a variety of cakes, including gluten free. We are 15 mins from the spectacular Roaches, with lovely walks of elevation, gritstone and heathers. (Stop off at The Lazy Trout in Meerbrook for excellent food). Ilam and Dovedale are highly recommended as a pretty but unique Staffordshire village with the famous stepping stones and flat topped hill. Our family lived there for generations, so Dad or I can probably bore the bones of you with Ilam knowledge! I'll leave it for you to ask... For cyclists the area is superb! There are many routes, challenging hill climbs and great training ground for serious competitors. For those after something more leisurely, try the Manifold Valley cycle track, through the cast scenery of the White Peaks. look out for Thor's Cave and sit by the river at the Manifold cafe with a refreshment. For gardeners I recommend a visit to Trentham Gardens, quite breathtaking planting in the restored gardens by Europe's finest designers (and also attractive cabin retail units). Locally, Consall Hall at the head of the Churnet Valley has beautiful landscaped gardens, splendid in Spring with the Rhodedendrons and Azalaes in flower. The iconic Chatsworth Hall is a lovely country drive away and for those looking for Instrusrial history, Stoke-on -Trent is the place for you! Gladstone Pottery is an excellent museum, I don't know anyone who hasn't been fascinated with a day there, or come home without having tried to throw a pot or paint a china flower! Emma Bridgewater, she of the spotty mugs, has breathed some life back into Stoke with her highly successful factory. It is worth a visit to the factory shop and the boho/Industrial cool cafe and decorating studio. After all that you will be so glad to sink onto the super comfy double bed or sip some wino on the patio, fire pit blazing and soak up the complete peace and quiet.
Ipstones is a pretty village in the Staffordshire moorlands with a thriving community spirit. With three pubs, a shop and butchers to cater for your needs, friendly locals abound and frequent music nights (Sunday night acoustic night at The Sea Lion). The walking surrounding The Piggery is excellent - it is just off the Staffordshire Way, on the doorstep of Consall and Froghall Warf, which use the industrial heritage to great use with canal cafes and pubs and steam railway. The ale rail is a great way to enjoy what local beers and ciders are around with a trip on the train! f you don't want to think about cooking on your break we have two pubs which serve food in the village ( and one for people looking for a traditional local with a great range of whisky). They are 10 minutes walk down the country lane, so park up and potter down! I recommend The Marquis of Granby for a great meal at really good prices. it is popular round here though, so booking is necessary! There are a many other recommendations around, with Leek, Ashbourne , Cheadle and Buxton offering plenty for every palette.
  • Very friendly and welcoming! The stay was clean and a comfortable place to stay! I would recommend it in future!

  • We really enjoyed our stay at the Piggery. Easy to find, everything you could wish for for a short stay. Made to feel at home straightaway and great information about the local area. Some clever design makes it feel bigger than you think inside with its high ceilings and sky lights and the heated floor is lovely! Will definitely be returning!

  • Lovely, quirky and comfortable space in a beautiful location. Plenty of things to do around the area and some fantastic places to eat. Would recommend the marquis of granby for amazing pub food just a 10 minute walk away! So Thai in leek was also amazing. Hosts were fantastic and gave us lots of recommendations, would definitely return.

  • Cute little getaway! Phillipa was quick at responding and recommending places for us to eat nearby. Great surroundings, bonus with the sheep and horses!

  • The piggery is in a lovely setting with plenty of walks in the village.

  • This is a lovely place to stay. Everything you could need for a short break. And the underfloor heating was a delight!

  • This is the perfect place for a couple of 2 to spend a night, it’s so cosy and warm and you feel at home as soon as you walk in the door, we was greeted so warmly and made feel comfortable straight away! We was recommended a few places to eat where we could get dinner and breakfast, the host was so lovely and he made sure we literally had everything we needed and he didn’t let us leave without saying goodbye and asking how everything was, I don’t have 1 bad thing to say about this place! 100% would recommend and if I’m ever in the area again I would definitely come back!

  • A lovely little place with all the amenities you could possibly need, fully equipped with a fridge, stove, kettle & microwave (which certainly came in handy). Unfortunately our car broke down leaving us stranded, Pip was kind enough to offer us a lift to Alton Towers in the morning, really going above and beyond to save what was otherwise a bit of a disaster of a trip. Thank you Pip, we'll certainly be back under better circumstances!!
