  • We wanted a complete escape away from the “rat race“ and found it in Lorraine’s place. It was beautifully clean and stylish and just what we needed. It’s tiny but perfect and Winston, our golden retriever fitted in perfectly ! Thank you Lorraine for your helpful tips on the area.

Sunset Cottage was built 300 years ago out of Portland Stone and was a fisherman's cottage . Although refurbished to a high standard all original features still remain. Fantastic sea views of Chesil Beach.
Sunset cottage is very cosy with all its original features. Portland stone walls and wooden beams and floors. Wonderful views of Chesil Beach and Jurassic Coast and just a few metres walk from the shingle beach. Cottage is over three floors .
Portland is an island but is connected by a road to Weymouth. The landscape is rugged with beautiful views . Suitable for those who love the outdoors.
  • This is a fabulous place. I stayed here with my 4yo for 5 weeks. Helen is a thoughtful host and the house is well set up for guests. The cottage is beautiful and a pebble-throw from Chesil beach. A historic stone building with cosy rooms and modern heating to keep out the winter chill. The parking can be tricky but the house is on a bus route and local shops were a short walk away. Checking in and out were very simple, a key safe at the door. Helen is friendly host who understands the needs of travellers. I hope to book in here again when we return to the UK. A fantastic little gem - you should stay here!!! 5/5☆

  • Helen House is an awesome place for those who want privacy and silence. The house has everything necessary for living. Fully consistent with the photo. Stunning sea view from the back yard. A store with everything you need is a three minute walk. Free parking 2 minutes from the house. Thanks Helen, it was a wonderful time at your home.

    Yana2019-11-03T00:00:00Z
  • Our stay at Helen's cottage was perfect . The cottage had everything we needed in the kitchen and the bedrooms . We had space for our bikes at the back . Breathtaking views from the back garden overlooking the beach and to watch the sunset . It is close to the coast path that takes you around the island by foot . It is also near the stunning Rodwell cycle path that goes to Weymouth and Dorchester. It is a 5 mns drive to most cliffs for rock climbing on the island . Helen was helpful and available for when we needed advice .

  • Helen’s Cove cottage at Fortuneswell on Portland island is a great place to stay. The cottage is well stocked with everything you need and Helen is a very friendly host Portland is a fascinating place to explore and nearby Weymouth has many great pubs and restaurants, and of course a beautiful harbour. All in all a great place from which to explore the Jurassic coast and the beautiful county of Dorset. I wouldbgladly stay at Helen’s again.

  • Lovely little cottage, great hospitality and excellent communication from our very happy host Helen. Wonderful scenic strolls, beach and amenities all within a short walk plus Weymouth easily accessible in only a quick drive. Happy to recommend.

  • Wonderful place.

  • Fantastic; location, views, kitchen, garden, bathroom, bedrooms, lounge, garden, privacy - thoroughly recommend for a long relaxing vacation, it’s like a home from home. It’s as warm as you need, most of the time I need to turn the heat down and this is the middle of winter, even got a wood burner. 5 min from the Sea, some lovely local pubs & cafes. I Love this place. One of the very best Airb&b’s I’ve stayed at -Oops I really shouldn’t have said that, I really meant keep this a secret! Definitely book folks well worth it. Obviously you need to be fit if you haven’t got a car, but why come to Portland if you don’t like hills?! Perfect!!

    Dellimore2018-12-02T00:00:00Z
  • I absolutely loved this cottage!!! It is 3 stories: the kitchen and living room are on the ground floor. The kitchen has everything you need for a perfect stay- including a full sized refrigerator. The living room has a large TV and very comfortable couches as well as a fireplace. I kept the backdoor in the kitchen as well as the kitchen window open all day and it kept the downstairs very cool even in the heat of summer. First floor is the bathroom with a shower and a separate full sized bathtub. Also on the first floor is the master bedroom with a VERY comfortable king size bed. Although the cottage has no Air Conditioning and it was Hot outside, by opening the bathroom window and the bedroom window there was an amazing breeze that kept the place cool! 2nd floor is two twin beds and a little play area- which is also good for storage. There is excellent WiFi which reaches the whole cottage. All that said, my favorite part of this cottage is the incredible view from the sitting area out back. It is just amazing- perfect place to watch the sunset every day! And Helen- the owner... is just an amazing woman. She is very friendly and helpful if you have any questions or need anything she is right there for you. She and her husband live in cottages near by and have a garden adjacent to the back sitting area of this cottage. So if you need them... they are there. But they are not intrusive at all. Overall, just an absolutely wonderful stay in a fantastic cottage by the sea. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did!!

  • We Stayed in Woodpecker Lodge and have had a fantastic stay. Keith and Serena are lovely hostswith lots of local information. The lodge was perfect....there is a Woodpecker which you can hear and you may be lucky to see the Deer if you wander the pathways. There is an onsite store and a nearby Superstore for all needs. The hot tub sets it all off, it was ready for use when we got there and is great to get in at night with some Bubbly.

    David2020-03-13T00:00:00Z
  • Well what can I say about woodpecker lodge? Absolutely amazing! We wanted a quiet and relaxing weekend to de stress and this log cabin was exactly the perfect place! The cabin was stylish and comfy. The kitchen well equipped for all needs and the log burner was amazing on the cold nights. We loved the hot tub with multi function and lights and even enjoyed it during stormy weather with torrential rain which made it even more special! Keith and his wife were awesome hosts and totally went above and beyond for us when we had a flat tyre! These guys are truly awesome and we will be recommending this place to our friends and family!

    Stuart2020-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • We had the best time at Woodpecker Lodge! The location is beautiful, private and so peaceful. The hot tub (an absolute favourite) and the wood burner made our stay extra special. Our great hosts responded quickly and couldn’t do enough to help. As a group we would absolutely recommend Woodpecker Lodge and we fully intend on returning for a longer stay in the future! :)

    Jo2020-02-10T00:00:00Z
  • Beautiful log cabin set among the forest. Best thing about it was sitting in the hot tub with the star spattered sky above you, listening to the sounds of the wild like an owl and its chicks. You don’t get to hear or see much of that in the city! The cabin was spotless, the log burner a cosy touch and the kitchen was well stocked with every utensil, pan etc. you could possibly need. Perfect little break away and I would recommend to anyone!

    Sarah2020-01-27T00:00:00Z
  • Woodpecker Lodge is perfect! It’s clean and has everything you could possibly need. It’s in a secluded location and therefore you have your privacy. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

    Hannah2020-01-24T00:00:00Z
  • Really cosy and romantic cabin with plenty of space. We stayed in woodpecker lodge with a hot tub for three nights. For our first night we only had one neighbour but thankfully the hot tub is mostly covered by a wooden screen - the hot tub next door was the other side of some bushes and we could hear the others but it didn’t disturb us. Access to the hot tub was a little chilly as you can’t go from the cabin door down the steps to it, there’s a wooden ramp before hand but once you’re in the tub it’s lovely. The shop was shut when we went to visit for more drinks or kindling (you get enough for 1 fire) but we sent a message and they opened up quickly for us. We were given detailed maps and some recommendations of where to go and what to see. We did the pooh sticks walk which was about 3 miles in total and had some nice views. The amenities were clean but the crockery and cutlery was all poorly washed so we had to clean things as we used them - that’s most likely the fault of previous occupants though and not necessarily the hosts. All in all a positive experience, it was a relaxing, charming atmosphere and comfortable.

    Shaun2020-01-13T00:00:00Z
  • I would highly recommend this beautiful place. So relaxing and cosy. Staff are very helpful and friendly with giving tips on what to do locally. I would love to come back again.

  • Woodpecker Lodge is the perfect place for a relaxing break. The lodge is bigger than it looks in the photos, and has absolutely everything you need. The hot tub was lovely and warm, and perfect for relaxing after a long day of walking. The lodge is cosy and very warm and welcoming. We will definitely be coming back again.

Summer is coming but still snuggle up together on the leather sofa with some Prosecco in front of the log fire Dating from the 1700's, our newly restored "boutique" style stone cottage is in the rural historic Yetminster Conservation Area with a thatched CAMRA pub. The Bothy is in the beautiful garden of our quintessential English Heritage listed thatched cottage You have great access to our lovely Dorset countryside & the Jurassic Coast One fixed price: No minimum stays; No cleaning charges
Bothy Cottage is in a delightful rural location with horses in the adjacent fields, chickens across the road and a dairy farm just up the lane. I am so happy just pottering around our home here. We want you to be warm and cosy during the cooler months (& English summer), so the Bothy is heated with electric radiators (controlled by you) and a wood burning stove. We include electricity, kindling wood, fire lighters and logs for your stay. Help yourself to more logs from the store behind the Bothy, if needed. The kitchen facilities are suitable for modest cooking and include a single induction hob, microwave with grill & oven facilities, small fridge/freezer, electric kettle, toaster, filter coffee jug, etc., plus a washing/drying machine. There are two BBQ's suitable for loose charcoal or plonking a disposable BBQ on top. For walkers, Downs Lane opposite leads to various footpaths and access to the local Vecklands Millennium Wood (Visible from your cottage). The Macmillan Way footpath is 200 yards down Brister End. We can chat about various other places to go using your car. In my view, we are in a cyclist's paradise with loads of lanes and a variety of bridleways (Some very muddy) to suit casual through to the serious on and off road bikers (There is a huge specialist triathlon TriUK superstore in Yeovil). You may lock your bikes in one of our sheds. Once you are off in your car then the Jurassic Coast, the sea, Lulworth Cove, Durdle Door & Lyme Regis are some 40-50 minutes away and then there are the National Trust places, including Montecute House, Stourhead (Fabulous landscape gardens with the Spread Eagle pub for food).
Yetminster is a village with a load of listed buildings dating from the 17th Century, about twelve thatched cottages (The locals could not afford proper tiled roofs) and a Grade 1 listed church (St Andrews). The thatched White Hart pub (Run by Blanche & Alex) has a variety of locally sourced beers and ciders (Local labourers were paid with cider until the 1950's) plus good pub grub. I have cycled to over 100 local pubs so I can give you tips on them.
  • A beautifully cosy space. Russell and Liz have designed the it well to make the most of smallish space. It had everything we needed, the local village was very cute and Russell and Liz were great at giving us space, whilst also being available if we had any questions. It's a beautiful part of the country to visit, and thank you both for a glorious week getaway!

    Simon2020-03-20T00:00:00Z
  • This cottage is an absolute treat! Russell and Liz were so helpful and friendly. The air bnb itself is stunning and so cosy - especially when the we had the fire burning in the evening. The location is great, we didn’t have a car but travelled there by train - there’s plenty of big walks or a local taxi service of needed. Perfect 10/10 stay !!

    Molly2020-03-16T00:00:00Z
  • Thank you so much for our stay, shame we weren't staying for longer! It was most definitely cute and cosy and the cottage has a lovely charm about it. We felt very at home and relaxed and were made to feel very welcome upon arrival. Excellent value for the price, we would happily visit again in the future. Thank you again!!

    Lucy2020-03-13T00:00:00Z
  • What an absolutely stunning little bothy, we couldn’t have been happier with our stay. The decor is amazing and the real wood log burner makes you feel so cozy. We would highly recommend this place to all our friends and family and cannot wait to return in the summer when the garden is in full bloom. The outside BBQ area will also be amazing in better weather. Thank you!

    David2020-03-10T00:00:00Z
  • Amazing place, lovely personal touches and a warm welcome. Highly recommended!

    James2020-03-09T00:00:00Z

  • Beautifully clean, extremely cosy, homely and in an ideal location for lovely local walks. Super easy off road parking and a gorgeous wood burning stove and super fast induction job in case you want to cook for yourselves! • Really pleased with our stay at the cabin, cosy and warm despite the inclement weather outside!

    Alison2020-03-05T00:00:00Z
  • The Cabin is a lovely place to stop - perfect for a pair or solo traveller looking for an indoor place to rest. Situated at the end of a garden, it is a secluded spot that is a restful way to spend an evening. Humphrey was very accommodating - made sure I could get in, had turned the heating on, set the heated blanket (!) up to come on in the evening, provided tea, coffee, breakfast and fruit. Bed was very comfy, shower was decent, and enough space to feel cosy while still having enough space to move around. Kitchen was well equipped. The local pub was just down the road and served up good food. Highly recommend if passing through Seatown.

Atherstone Farm Cottage is a beautiful and newly refurbished grade II listed thatched cottage in the tiny hamlet of Atherstone in Somerset, two miles from Ilminster. Its rural location and carefully restored interiors make it a great countryside bolt-hole. Both bedrooms are ensuite, one with a roll top bath and shower, the other a walk-in wetroom / shower. The house also has a modern kitchen, with a separate utility room, and a large stone-floored living and dining room with a wood-burning stove.
With a stone floor, ancient beams and thatched roof it's the picture of a romantic country cottage, but now updated with a modern kitchen, bathrooms and entertainment system. Its rural location makes it a great escape for those looking for a countryside bolt-hole, with plenty of pubs to walk / cycle to and things to see and do nearby, and convenient shopping in Ilminster is not far away. There are two comfortable bedrooms, both en-suites., with deep mattresses, 400 thread count cotton bedding, indulgent mattress toppers and fluffy bathrobes, so you can truly settle into the cosiness of the cottage. The master bedroom has a king-sized bed and a spacious bathroom with a roll-top bath and walk-in shower. The second bedroom can be arranged as a superking-sized double or with two single beds. Its bathroom is a walk-in modern wetroom with heated stone tile floors. The house has a large living area for four people, with a long dining / sitting room. The sitting room has comfortable sofas, a wood-burning stove set into a large stone fireplace and is equipped with a 55’ flatscreen internet-connected TV with a Bluetooth soundbar that can be used to play music / radio through the TV or from a Bluetooth device, or just envelop those who want to relax with a movie. The kitchen is modern and well equipped with an electric oven, hob and dishwasher. There is a separate utility room with a large fridge-freezer (including ice-machine) and a washer-drier. There is also good-sized private lawn, a charcoal bbq and teak outdoor table and chairs for the summer (or the hardy!)
Atherstone Farm Cottage is part of an old grade II listed farm that has been part of the Dillington Estate since at least 1725. The cottage is found at one end of the farmhouse - with the other half of the house also available to rent as a separate 4 bed house. The two are joined through lockable doors on the ground floor for the convenience of any groups renting both. The farm is in the tiny hamlet of Atherstone, which is surrounded by fields and woods that are accessible on foot and bicycle through the myriad of local country lanes and footpaths. Nearby there are several pubs, some within walking distance – like the Barrington Boar – others a little further, but worth cycling or driving to, such as the Dinnington Docks or Lord Poulett Arms. Barrington House, a National Trust house with gardens open to the public, is nearby, as is Dillington House. The Dennis Chinaworks in Shepton Beauchamp are also very close and worth a visit, for the tea rooms as much as anything else. There are several local cider producers whose orchards and presses are worth seeing, Perry’s Cider in Dowlish Wake being one, and Julian Temperley’s cider and cider brandy distillery over at Burrow Hill another. A little further away the beach at Lyme Regis and walks along the Jurassic coastline are 40mins or so to the South, and the Hauser and Wirth gallery near Bruton is 40 mins or so to the East.
  • Lovely cottage in one of the prettiest areas we’ve visited in the UK. The house itself is immaculate, spacious, and charming. Really appreciated the heaps of firewood for cozy evenings around the living room as well as private garden for breakfast in the sunshine. Great local suggestions as well, we had an excellent lunch at the Lord Poullet Arms nearby.

    Jessica2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • This is a stunning property and it’s one of the cleanest I’ve stayed at, everything is perfect. There’s a fantastic log burner and a big basket of logs for you to burn. The decor is wonderful, everything is really tastefully done. Loved the bath robes and the toiletries that were provided. The Barrington Boar is a very short drive and it’s a really great pub. We went to the Lord Poulet too which was great. Make sure you go to Pips Railway Cafe because their breakfast is to die for and it’s kind of quirky eating in a railway carriage! I would not hesitate to recommend this house and only wish I could move in!

  • Brilliant quiet location with a lovely countryside feel

  • Atherstone Cottage was amazing, quiet, clean and beautiful. We felt at home from the minute we walked through the door and had a very relaxed and enjoyable weekend stay. We particularly loved the log burner, the authentic stone floors, the original wooden doors, coupled with the modern luxurious decor. We can’t wait to come back for longer next time!

    David2019-12-22T00:00:00Z
  • Beautiful house, decorated to a high standard. In a lovely rural location. Extremely peaceful and would highly recommend to anyone looking for a special countryside getaway.

    Guy2019-10-25T00:00:00Z
  • Wonderful property, comfortable & quiet. Wifi strength is variable. Common area is marvelous with fireplace to keep you warm. Beds are truly comfortable & firm. Location close to delights of Ilminster and supermarket convenience.

    Lesley2019-10-11T00:00:00Z
  • Atherstone Farm Cottage was a lovely place to stay. Set in the middle of nowhere down some narrow lanes, you really felt away from it all. Facilities were great, despite the farmhouse being rather old! The low beams won 4-2 in terms of days when I hit my head, but that just added to the charm. Check-in was easy (via a key safe), and they texted to say that we were able to check in early, which was a nice touch. Nearby pubs and restaurants were very nice, with particular mention of the Lord Poulett Arms and Pip’s Railway Cafe. (Don’t trek all the way to The Pig, though. We were disappointed). All in all we had a really good time and can recommend the cottage highly.

  • This is a lovely place to holiday and the facilities inside the cottage were ideal. There are a lovely range of walks and places to visit nearby and some of the local pubs provided some excellent foods as well as being dog friendly. The two ensuites are perfect when two couples are sharing the Cottage. The Dillington Estates were good at providing information and responses to questions regarding our stay.

  • We had a perfect weekend away at Redlake farm! The lodge was amazing, very clean and always nice and warm with an easy to use thermostat. The hot tub was fab and having tea bags, coffee, milk, sugar etc was a really nice touch. Great location with various things to do near by such as visiting Clarke’s village or Glastonbury. Definitely would stay again in the future!

  • This place is absolutely gorgeous, warm, cosy and comfortable. Every single thing we brought thinking we would need was already provided, hot tub was already on for us, breakfast brought to our door before we left, my partner is first to complain about anything! But he was amazed and said he wants to come back (a first 😂)... we travelled for his 30th which the cabin was decorated for even with a bottle of drink. Honestly you cannot get better then this little place.. and the bed 😍 don’t think we’ve slept that well for a while. Thank you Downwood. You made our first air b & b totally amazing xx

    Lauren2020-03-05T00:00:00Z

Lovely self contained annexe set in the beautiful surroundings of the Jurassic coast. There is a cosy double bedroom (which has the option of either a king size or two single beds) a shower room and a well equipped kitchen/dining/living room which has a sofa bed. The property has its own pretty courtyard garden and off road parking for one car.
self contained annexe with easy access to Lulworth Cove and the Jurassic Coast AONB
West Lulworth and its associated Lulworth Cove is a pretty little village with many thatched properties. It does not have street lighting so the night sky can be very spectacular. There are two pubs both of which serve food, a very nice restaurant within easy walking distance of the property (a little expensive but lovely menu) and a bistro nearer to the sea which additionally does take away pizzas . There is also a number of further cafes including Finlays who serve good fish and chips and very delicious Dorset ice cream. (Please note that not everything is open during the winter)
  • A lovely place in an excellent location, a short walk to Lulworth Cove. It was very easy to find and the hosts were really helpful. Thanks guys!

    Mark2020-03-22T00:00:00Z
  • Very comfortable annexe in great location. Thoughtfully equipped. Quiet situation but just above the attractive village, (which can be reached down steps just to the right of the property). The thatched roof Castle Inn is a couple of minutes walk, and there is a good restaurant (the Limestone) a few minutes walk away - we had good meals in both. Beautiful countryside around, and about 10 minutes walk to Lulworth Cove.

  • Very adorable little cabin. Can get a little cold but plenty of blankets are available, a little fire (which was lit for us as we arrived) and a heated blanket in the bed, meant this wasn’t an issue. Beautiful scenery and not too far from nearest town.

  • Beautiful log cabin , lovely and warm with the log fire . The hot tub is a fab location with lovely views over fields and sheltered from the winds . Remember a dressing gown in colder weather to get from cabin to tub . Highly recommend. Thanks Sophie

  • Wonderful flat with easy access to transportation and nearby grocery, coffee, and cafes. Check-in and check-out were very easy. The flat was very stylish and had many interesting features. It was impeccably clean and the towels were nice and thick just the way we like them. The large bay windows and high ceilings make the flat feel spacious and roomy despite its compact size. Melanie communicated with us prior to our stay, after our arrival, and on our check-out day. She made it clear she was available to assist us even though she was out of town during our stay. She had great restaurant and sightseeing recommendations. We recommend this flat for a lovely stay in Bournemouth!

  • We had a lovely stay this week at rosa cottage. The house but particularly the sitting room is absolutely lovely. So cosy. Lovely bedroom, bathroom and dining area. The only criticism I have is that there needs to be potentially more tea towels, and things like dish cloths. A few more logs for the fire would be great as we couldn’t buy them anywhere so ran out quickly. Also I would suggest taking down the notes on the walls saying “if you break this blind you will be charged £20”. I do think people know they will be charged if they break something. But all in all a lovely lovely place to stay and Karin was really helpful. We used the Indian takeaway she recommended and it was delicious.

    Niamh2020-03-06T00:00:00Z
  • Good spot to stay to explore the Jurassic Coast. Weather was bitterly cold but the house was warm and spacious. We enjoyed our weekend in Portland and Dorset.

  • We had a 2 night stay at the Bothy to celebrate my husband's birthday. The place was perfect for our short break. The weather wasn't great (wet and windy) but the cottage was cosy, warm and welcoming. We already had a wood turning experience booked locally so had planned for the winter weather, but in the better weather you'd be spoilt for things to do locally. We ate out at The Red Lion, within walking distance one night. Fab food and would also highly recommend. Loved the welcoming touches of bread, milk, orange juice, croissants and the infamous chocolate muffins.

  • An ideal location for a perfect getaway with incredible views and beautiful walks. The dogs enjoyed it as much as we did! The hot tub overlooking the bay was definitely a highlight. Despite a few minor issues with the accommodation we had the most wonderful relaxing stay. The fireplace was perfect for the rainy nights and it was a very thoughtful touch to provide enough wood for our two-night stay. We would definitely return and would recommend a stay in this lovely place.

There is a comfortable sitting area with Smart TV, wireless internet and whole range of DVD’s, books, board games - something for every one to enjoy. Our guests can enjoy a cosy reading corner with high back chair and a overhead lamp. There is also a self-contained shower room which features a sink, toilet and freestanding shower.
The Barn is surrounded by woodland, and just 100 meters from open new forest heathland, with spectacular views reaching towards the Purbecks. This is an amazing spot for a picnic glass of wine or a beer and watch one of the best sunset views in the new forest over the moor. We have picnic blankets and hamper for our guests to enjoy as they wish. We regularly have deer and horses outside the gates grazing which our guests love to see. The village is a 15 min walk through the woods in both directions which loop around to make a really nice distance stroll, with a pub or cafe break in the middle. The village has a couple of country pubs perfect for a nice meal and drink, and a selection of quirky shops. Just 3 miles down the road is the Market Town of Ringwood with a range shops and supermarkets.
  • The Barn has everything you need for a relaxing, cosy weekend. Many thoughtful touches from the hosts: fresh milk and OJ, bread and cereals for breakfast, lots of tips on local pubs/shops/things to do. My dog loved the place too. Will be back!

  • A perfect little countryside retreat. So many good reviews and it lives up to them all and more. Looks great in the pictures but blows you away when you arrive!

  • Emily is a fantastic host

  • The Barn is a truly delightful and cozy place to stay for anyone who wants to get away from the hustle and bustle of every day life. The perfect place to unwind and relax...

    Sabine2020-02-26T00:00:00Z
  • Barn had a comfortable rustic vibe and was situated nicely into the new forest area. Would consider staying again.

    Martyn2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • We have been looking for a nice airbnb within walking distance of both countryside and pubs, without traffic noise and close to a list of interesting things to do, and Emily's place delivers on all of these 100%. Clean, wholesome, cosy, quiet, with everything you might need for a few days in the New Forest. The wifi was great and the bed and sofa comfortable, the kitchen worked really well and the space is bigger than it looks in the photos. Having a smart TV was an added bonus for darker spring evenings. The view pictured is less than a minute's walk through trees opposite, and is absolutely stunning. There are also hiking and cycling trails accessible directly from the property. Situated about a mile down a track, you are right in the woodland, but with very quick access to the village of Burley. Emily and her family were on hand and incredibly friendly and helpful, but the space also felt private and an independent unit. With the heathland, the forest, the coast, some interesting cities and the Isle of Wight all within an easy drive, we wished we have been there for a week rather than a couple of nights and hope to be back as soon as possible.

  • Cosy, cute and comfortable. A beautiful place for a forest getaway.

A truly amazing floating tree house set in a spectacular private location in beautiful Dorset countryside. Tastefully decorated with everything you need for a cosy, romantic break. Mains power, heating, stereo, hot and cold water, outdoor toilet and showers. A basic kitchen with a double hob, and everything you need, a fire-pit, BBQ and a bed with far reaching views. Simply an incredible and unique space for a romantic getaway. You will need to bring bedding, towels, and charcoal.
Built in the trees on top of a bank with a great view. Peaceful, purposefully basic, but has everything you actually need, to have a cosy romantic time. We have uninstalled wifi so you can actually enjoy talking to each other and listening to music on the sound system, being in nature and de-stressing. Feel free to walk around the site and see deer and great woodland to enjoy. You are only 2 minutes drive away from shops and great pubs if you need anything. Please be aware the toilet is situated just outside of the Treehouse.
Beautiful, sunny Bournemouth is only a 20-minute drive away, Poole is only 10 minutes. There are plentiful walks and country pubs nearby to choose from, and we’re only 20 minutes from the scenic Jurassic coast. Monkey World is only 20 minutes away, which is a MUST! Our unique field is a great base that's within easy reach of numerous things to see and do.
  • Great stay! Was surprised to see other kinds of accommodation! Will definitely be back to try out something else! The double decker bus looks amazing! The only bad thing I can say is that the weather wasn’t great but we had everything we needed inside so didn’t dampen things to much!

  • Amazing stay! Me and my girlfriend came for her surprise birthday. The tree house just looks incredible as you park the car. And it is just like a Tardis. 'Bigger on the inside' with a working sink, fridge, working radio and heaters it was a cozy night in when the rain was pouring outside. There are plenty of board games to keep you busy and even chairs and tables outside. The site also has toilets and showers! Would recommend to anyone wanting a unique stay or a weekend away.

    Dean2020-02-01T00:00:00Z
  • Highly recommend this place for a lovely romantic getaway! The structure is really cool and surprisingly spacious, the pictures dont do it justice! Everything you could need for a night and the space was really cosy. I was worried it would be cold as we went in January but there is a heater which does a great job at warming the space up. The space is nice and private and there are board games to keep you occupied! Perfect to just switch off. Would deffo reccomend!

  • I recently spent two nights at Ian and Ellen’s wonderful cabin. The cabin itself was perfect for us, It was so cosy and had everything you could’ve needed. We especially loved the upstairs mezzanine for watching movies as it felt like we were in our own personal cinema room. Me and my partner had a great time and are looking to come back at the start of next year.

Honeysuckle Lodge is a unique blend of luxury mixed with the classic beach/shepherds hut design. It combines spa like experiences such as drenching shower and a hot tub surrounded by living walls; with home from home comforts such as cosy duvets, soft pillows and HD TV with Amazon Fire stick. Located on the site of an 18th Century Grade II listed building, in a small village with a fantastic local pub and village shop. Guests self check-in and out.
The lodge although small boasts a brand new en-suit with drenching rain shower head, stone sink and exposed copper piping. There is a double bed with cosy bedding, tea making facilities, Nespresso coffee machine and light continental breakfast. The Lodge also has use of a hot tub located just outside the lodge, surrounded by a living wall which gives privacy and a unique jungle feel. The Lodge is built in the grounds of our circa 18th Century Grade II Listed Thatched house which is located next to the A354 - this does mean that you will hear cars and often farm machinery passing during the day and sometimes at night.
The Royal Oak pub is the best local you could ask for. Serving fantastic food and drink and run by very friendly people. There is also a village shop too. All of which is within 2-3 minutes walk.
  • This tiny little treat is perfect if you just want to lock yourself away in a bedroom & a hot tub... a thoroughly gorgeous little find. Congratulations

    James2020-03-21T00:00:00Z
  • We had a lovely stay here, it looks exactly as it does in the pictures! The location is perfect with so much to do just 20 minutes away in any direction! The hot tub was lovely after a day of exploring and the bed was super comfy. The extra bits (breakfast, orange juice and a bottle of wine) are super thoughtful. The Royal Oak does lovely food and everyone should 100% visit. We had a great time here, our only niggle was that it took ages for our towels and swimwear to dry, but apart from that we would stay again.

    Meg2020-03-16T00:00:00Z

  • Incredible little lodge, perfect for a relaxing couples’ break. Built by the hosts, it’s clear that a lot of thought went into the experience of their guests. If you’re happy to drive for 20 minutes in any direction then there are endless options for day trips. The local pub was a great recommendation and just a short walk from the accommodation. To all future guests - kick back and enjoy!

    Sam2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • Absolutely lovely little Airbnb! The decor is so cosy and Jeremy and Chloe have done a wonderful job creating this little oasis. The hot tub is a thankful retreat after a long walk in the rain. Milborne is a delightful town, free from masses of tourists, and full of history and poetic scenery. Highly recommend visiting nearby Milton Abbey and Durdle Door. One note- there isn’t really a place to eat inside the bnb, but if you aren’t opposed to bed snacks then you’ll have a grand time!

    Lillith2020-02-20T00:00:00Z
  • Thank you so much! Jeremy was the perfect host and we couldn’t have asked for a better night away. The lodge is amazing, so well equipped and the decor is modern and stylish, with lovely little touches everywhere! We really appreciated the wine, milk and orange juice in the fridge too. If you’re staying on a Sunday be sure to try the fantastic carvery at The Royal Oak pub just a stones throw away from the lodge. Overall we had a wonderful time and will definitely be back 5*

A new log cabin built autumn 2015 in its own grounds and completely private, overlooking heathland where horses and cattle roam freely 6 months of the year. It's next to farmland with a fishing lake nearby. Great for walks and enjoying the outdoors. Renting the log cabin is based on two guests sharing, any additional guest pays a complimentary fee.
The log cabin is spacious, cosy and comfortable. The sofa in the lounge also converts to a double bed , so up to 6 people can to stay. The cabin sits in an exclusive paddock of one acre surrounded by field, woods and heathland. It is a haven for wildlife. Guests can enjoy the grounds where there is a trampoline, swings and can also enjoy cooking and eating outdoors. There is also a coarse fishing lake in the adjacent farm.
It's location makes the cabin very unique. Its a rural retreat. No neighbours (except the cows, horses, deer and squirrels!) Great for wild life and being close to nature. Completely secluded with a beautiful view of the grounds. A great escape from the city! The Cross Keys pub, which is within walking distance, offers good food. There is also a good selection of country pubs nearby. There are excellent restaurants, pubs in the towns previously mentioned, as well as theatres and nightlife. We have wonderful beaches in Bournemouth and Poole. Close by, we have Potterns Park in Verwood and Moors Valley Country Park. Great for outdoor activities with the family and friends.
  • The cabin is perfect for some time out of the big smoke! I stayed there with 5 friends and we had a lovely time . The cabin is clean , outside areas spacious , lots of parking and space to run around! The cabin itself is perfect for short stays and well equipped ( kitchen stocked and lots of activities for a rainy day) . Perfect welcome by the hosts and flexibility with check out 😊

We are positioned in the middle of the countryside where you don’t have to come into contact with anybody else if you don’t wish to. You have more chance of meeting a wild pony! It’s self check in so you don’t even have to have any contact with me! I have also set our booking calendar to allow for the hut to be empty for 24 hours between guests rather than guests leaving and arriving on the same day. *Length of stay discounts automatically apply to stays of 3 nights or more and increases the more nights that are booked with 15% off weekly bookings (7 nights). * Late booking discounts. *No extra cleaning fee charged. Situated on the north/west side of the New Forest National Park, a very short drive from the historic market towns of Fordingbridge and Ringwood, ‘Maurietty’ offers an idyllic place to relax and unwind. Located away from roads and a short way along a forest track, it is set on the edge of our 3 ½ acre grounds approximately 100 metres from our house (which is out of view). Stunning south facing views across our paddocks and countryside beyond. However you are not isolated here - there is quick and easy access to all main roads for visitors to explore the many villages, towns, cities and beaches that Hampshire, Dorset and Wiltshire have to offer (if you can tear yourself away from your little retreat!). There is a footpath at the back of our house which goes along the edge of our paddocks which is the best route to take to Hockeys Farm Shop and cafe, and The Royal Oak Pub is a 20 minute walk away (left out of our gates to bottom of track and turn right). There is another café 'The Potting Shed' in Hyde which is approx. a 15/20 minute walk across the common (left out of our gates, up track a short way and take first right at 'Gorley Firs' which will take you up onto the common). This shepherd's hut offers character and comfort in spades. The little bijou beauty is like a tardis offering a warm and cosy retreat. Inside the fully insulated bespoke hut you'll find all the comforts you would expect from luxury self-catering accommodation. A bathroom with 800x800 shower, wc, wash basin and electric ladder radiator. A kitchenette with belfast sink, microwave, cafetiere, kettle, toaster, electric cooking/frying pan, small chiller fridge, all cutlery and crockery and electric radiator. The 4'6" double bed is built in across one end of the hut with storage underneath, a window and tv with built in freesat and dvd player for those british rainy days when you might want to tuck up and get cosy and watch a film. South facing double french doors flood the hut with sunshine on brighter days and provide a beautiful view out across open fields. Outside there is a designated parking space right next to the hut and an outdoor seating area looking out at the view. Access to the property is via an electric gated entrance for which you will be provided with a code. The site once formed part of Ibsley RAF base during World War II. The block of stables that you look out onto is the old latrine block and a couple of Stanton air raid shelters are in the paddock. Literally to the rear of the hut is the open New Forest. Horse riders frequently go by as well as wildlife such as the New Forest ponies, cattle, donkeys, deer, foxes, badgers and an abundance of birds such as buzzards which are often seen circling above the trees during the summer months. Award- winning farm shop and cafe that also offers bike hire 0.5 mile (follow the footpath that starts at the back corner of our property), horse riding 1 mile, watersports and fishing lakes 2 miles, thatched pub with restaurant 1 mile (15/20 minute walk). Ringwood (with a Waitrose, Lidl and Sainsbury's) 5 miles and Fordingbridge (with a Co-op and Tesco Express) 2.5 miles. ****If the dates you would like to book won't fit into the booking calendar then please send me a booking request and I will try to accommodate you. ****Unfortunately we don’t allow dogs in the hut. ****Please have a look through the ‘house rules’ and it’s important you follow my directions to find us easily. ****Please note that WiFi can be unreliable due to our countryside location despite the area recently having fibre optic broadband installed! It’s something we’ve learnt to live with. We can always pick up 3G or 4G.
The New Forest is a former royal hunting ground in the south of England. It was created in 1079 by William I. Nearly 1000 years later the ancient landscape remains almost unchanged and in March 2005 was designated the 8th National Park in England.

A unique and romantic hideaway, Quarryman's Cottage is dinner on the roof terrace watching the sunset over Lyme Bay & Charmouth, stargazing from the luxury freestanding bath, epic views from the double shower, reading under the old oak tree, BBQ's & firepits, leisurely walks to The Anchor at Seatown via Golden Cap or the coastal path, the sound of birdsong, the glimpse of a deer, curling up in front of the wood burner in winter. It is a tranquil & heavenly escape from the bustle of daily life.
Quarryman’s Cottage is a beautiful and newly renovated one bedroom cottage that was built in the mid 1800’s (it had never previously had mains electric or running water). Sitting over 600 feet above sea level, The Quarryman's Cottage has the most stunning far reaching views of Lyme Bay, Lyme Regis and Charmouth. As an upside down house it makes the most of those views. The open plan living and kitchen area on the top floor opens via French doors onto a large roof terrace in one direction and a paved terrace in the other. The bedroom and large luxury ensuite bathroom are downstairs. It has been thoughtfully designed to create a light and airy property with large window’s in all rooms and French doors also opening out from the bedroom. It is south west facing guaranteeing you sun all day and the most wonderful sunsets all year round. The cottage is furnished with an eclectic mix of old and new. Beautiful vintage wood furniture bought from local antique markets. Ercol 'straight back' dining chairs sit beside an antique pine table, an old headmasters book cupboard has been loving restored to create a pantry cupboard and an old Teak ships door, found on Sanna beach in the Scottish Highlands over 35 years ago adorns the wall. Reclaimed pine joists create the floor in the bedroom and upstairs, the original pine boards lovingly restored by the owners. An Oak and powder coated steel spiral staircase from Italy takes you between floors. The roof terrace is furnished with a heavy solid wood table and benches plus a BBQ. There are 2 bulkhead lights which at night illuminate the surrounding tree’s creating the feeling that you are sitting within them. The kitchen is fully kitted out to a high specification with a dishwasher, washing machine, gas hob, electric oven and a gorgeous Belfast sink hidden behind an oak worktop allowing for extra worktop space. It has everything you need to create fabulous home cooked meals if you opt to eat in. The living area has a 2 seater sofa, side table, dining table and chairs, a beautiful Charnwood wood-burner, a large window seat, a smart TV with built in DVD player and a bluetooth speaker for listening to music. The bedroom has a kingsize solid wood bed, hotel quality Egyptian cotton sheets and towels, two vintage Elm chairs for bedside tables, a large antique trunk, chest of drawers and a window seat with cushions and blankets. The large ensuite bathroom has been fitted to a very high standard. A stunning ‘double’ shower with far reaching views of Lyme Bay and Charmouth, a freestanding bath sits across the corner of the room under both windows allowing for a spot of stargazing, the freestanding sink sits upon a piece of reclaimed sycamore and the lighting hints at a nautical theme with stylish bulkheads, one of which which can also be dimmed allowing for ‘mood lighting’ whilst taking a bath. The garden comprises of various different area’s. The paved terrace is surrounded by a variety of tree’s and is a great sun trap. The woodland area under two large Oaks tree’s is perfect for lazy afternoons in the shade reading. The lawned area gets the sun for the whole of the day is a great spot for sun bathing and of course there is the afore mentioned roof terrace. There are two apple tree's which provide a constant supply of fruit in the Autumn. There is currently parking for one car on the lower access level however there will be an option to park at the top later in the year. Heating during the winter is via the woodburner as well as Haverland Wave electric radiators (with thermostat and timers). Wood is found at the back of the cottage in the log store. Well behaved dogs are very welcome.
Morcombelake is a wonderful coastal community surrounded by National Trust parks in West Dorset’s Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The Quarryman’s Cottage at West Bullen is nestled into the side of Hardown Hill, a National Trust park which is heather covered in late Summer and Autumn. It also offers the most spectacular far reaching views over Lyme Bay to the West, the ancient farming land of The Marshwood Vale to the North and Golden Cap, Chesil Beach, and Portland to the South East. Hardown Hill is perfect for an early morning or an evening walk with or without your four legged friend, taking in the sunsets, far reaching views or for a spot of night time stargazing. The cottage is surrounded by a small woodland area which provide a home for deer, as well as owls and kites. Throughout the year a herd of Belted Galloway cow’s graze on a mature meadow which sits to the left of the property. The village boasts an fantastic farm shop ‘Felicities’, perfect for stocking up with local seasonal produce. There is a cafe called Annies which serves the ‘best cooked breakfast’ for miles as well as lunch and afternoon tea and the famous Moores Biscuits which has a shop and deli and bakes bread daily. There are many stunning walks directly from the cottage to the South West Coastal Path which then leads you towards Eype and West Bay via Golden Cap and or Charmouth and Lyme Regis in the other. Should you wish to walk as far as say Lyme Regis then there are buses which also take dogs to bring you back making it easy to leave the car behind. Sights such as the Holloway at Hell's Lane in North Chideock are also within walking distance. The seaside hamlet of Seatown is a gentle 45 minute walk via Langdon Woods and there you will find the award winning Anchor pub (tourism pub of the year 2017) which sits overlooking the beach. It serves five star food created with local produce and serves local wines and ale. West Bullen is situated up a quiet lane with no through traffic (apart from the local farmer). It is only a few miles from the beach at Seatown or Stonebarrow and Charmouth. It is a short drive to the seaside town of Lyme Regis and the famous sites at West Bay from the TV show Broadchurch. Throughout the year the area hosts some world class events: The Bridport Literary Festival, Dorset Art Weeks, Devon and Somerset Open Studios, The Bridport Food Festival, Food Rocks, Weymouth Seafood Festival, Lyme Regis Lifeboat Week, to name a few. If you want to venture a little further afield then we are 45 minutes from the stunning Lulworth Cove and Durdle Door to the East or Dartmoor to the West. Should you opt for some ‘non coastal’ days out then look no further than the spectacular Forde Abbey House and Gardens, Bicton Park, The Swannery at Abbotsbury, Mapperton House and Gardens or you could venture out on the Thomas Hardy tour.
  • We had an amazing weekend at Louise's cottage. An absolute gem... Perfectly renovated and decorated, the fireplace is fabulous when coming back from a good hike. Louise was very reactive when sending messages, very welcoming and arranging for the check-in and check-out times. We would definitely recommend it to you!

  • Wow. What a great few days away we have just had. The cottage is absolutely stunning - renovated beautifully, gorgeous views and wonderfully cosy. Louise is a fantastic host and her communication up to and during our stay was the best we've had with Airbnb.

  • Beautiful cottage with lots of characters, and a stunning view!! Very hospitable and thoughtful host. We had a wonderful time staying at the cottage, very accessible for nice beaches for dog walks! Would highly recommend!

  • The Quarryman’s cottage is utterly wonderful. So stylish and peaceful. We loved it and can’t wait to come back!

    Denise2020-02-24T00:00:00Z
  • We booked our stay at Louise’s lovely little cottage to get some peace and quiet from the city, it delivered perfectly. The space is great for 2 plus doggy. We loved the beautiful views from the sofa and the bath tub. No houses overlooked us which made it private and tranquil. Louise was always at hand, but also left us to enjoy the cottage.

    Richard2020-02-22T00:00:00Z
  • We had a wonderful, relaxing few days at the cottage. The views are breath taking and the cottage is modern with a Scandinavian feel, which we really love. Louise was so helpful with great tips of places to visit and eat locally. Superb!!!!

  • This was the BEST Airbnb experience. Everything was incredible from Louise’s thoughtful messages during the stay, to the high standard of accommodation & attention to detail in the property. Great quality bedding & towels, idyllic setting, privacy, information on hand & all packaged together perfectly. We loved being here, adored the wood burner & will definitely be back. Thank you Louise.

    Karen2020-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • The cottage is simply amazing. Modern, but with a touch of history both inside and out. Everything you could ever need is there, alongside a view that is stunning both day and night. The space has a quiet serenity about it, being set in the hills, and is completely private. Louise was a perfect host and was warm and welcoming when we arrived after dark. She was very attentive and made sure we have everything we need, as well as responding promptly to messages. We had a great stay and would definitely recommend Louise's cottage if you're looking for somewhere on the Jurassic Coast.

Acton Studio is perfect for walkers as we are on the South West Coast Path, ideal for those wanting to get back to nature and unwind as we are off the beaten track.
Acton Studio is a recently converted compact purbeck stone outbuilding with double bed, wet room and kitchenette with table and stools. The kitchenette has an electric oven, hob, fridge, sink, kettle, toaster and essential kitchen items. Dorset tea, coffee, sugar and milk provided. The studio is located at the bottom of our rear garden, the studio has it's own private garden. There is parking but it is not adjacent to the property. Sit in the enclosed garden on a summer evening after a long hike relaxing with a beer or glass of wine. On a clear night and with no street lights you can gaze up at a sky full of stars.
Acton is a small tranquil hamlet of around forty Purbeck stone cottages with unmade roads throughout. There is two pubs within walking distance. The King's Arms in Langton Matravers (25 minutes) and the Square and Compass in Worth Matravers (30 minutes). The Square and Compass only serves pies and pasties. A couple of minutes in the car and you reach The Scott Arms in Kingston then a little further The Castle Inn and The Greyhound in Corfe Castle. The nearest shop is in Langton Matravers ( a twenty five minute walk) but please check that they are open. There are Coop and Budgen supermarkets in Swanage and lots of smaller shops (a ten minute drive). We are surrounded by fields, some with cows and sheep and we are located on the South West Coast Path incorporating breath-taking views. We are lucky to live in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, home to many rare plants and animals. The Purbeck coastline is part of the ninety-five mile stretch known as the 'Jurassic Coast', named England’s first natural world heritage site in 2002 because of the unique insight it offers into 185 million years of the Earth’s history.
  • Fantastic space, really clean and lovely little touches. Location is great for walks along the Jurassic coast and hosts were very helpful

  • Brilliant location, tucked away in a beautiful old village and really close to great coastal walks. The check in process was really clear, and their suggestion of going to the Square and Compass was spot on - one of the most welcoming and friendly pubs I've been to. We had a magical time here and would highly recommend it! (Also, very comfy and cost bed, which was perfect for a stormy wintry night)

Although recently built, this building actually seems older than the farmhouse it's next to. With oak beamed roof trusses and stone walls inside and out there is a sense of permanence about this place. Shortlake Cottage is located just off a quiet no-through-road and looks out over fields to the coast beyond. As well as the views, the SW Coastpath is nearby for walks into Weymouth (3m) and Lulworth Cove (7m). Osmington village with The Sly Fox pub, and a couple of small shops, is about a 5 minutes walk away. The walk to Shortlake Farm's private beach takes just 10 minutes or so across the fields.

  • Beautiful place. Very quiet and close to the sea. Perfect place for relaxing break. Supermarket 5minutes drive and 20minutes from Durdle Door. Warm place even in cold days. Nice kitchen, rooms and lounge.

    Paula2020-03-05T00:00:00Z
  • Shortlake Cottage was absolutely delightful, simply and stylish with lovely features and gorgeous views from the upstairs family room. We stayed here with our 3 year old and 3 month old and had everything we needed to feel happy and at home for a few days. We walked down to the beach which was about 20 minutes (maybe a bit more coming back up!) The beach was deserted except for us and really gorgeous. The cottage is ideally located for sights such as Durdle Door, Lulworth Cove, etc as well as towns Weymouth and Dorchester being easy drives away. Peter was easy to get in touch with and very helpful on the couple of occasions we needed him too, I would recommend both the cottage and Peter himself as a host. We ate in most nights in the well equipped kitchen but enjoyed a fantastic meal at the nearby Smugglers Inn on our last night which we would recommend also. ****** LOVED IT! 😊

    Alice2020-03-02T00:00:00Z
  • The photos don't do the space and location justice - in a great way! Plenty of room and so close to the bay. The view from the upstairs is brilliant and you can see the bay and over to Portland. We stayed as a couple with our dog, but if you are with another couple then the space and layout would be ideal, ensuring you have privacy as well as a great place to enjoy. Location is excellent for Weymouth, we also went to Swanage whilst there. Would strongly recommend Peters cottage if you are looking for a base to explore the area.

    NIall2020-02-15T00:00:00Z
  • This place is gorgeous, the location is fantastic and it was great value for money. It made for a perfect weekend in the area.

  • All good and clean.

    Mick2020-01-24T00:00:00Z
  • Great location. Quiet but near to the beach, walks and pub. Plenty of space, well equipped, warm and lovely building.

    Dinah2020-01-18T00:00:00Z
  • A little piece of perfection in a beautiful part of the world. Check-in was seamless. The interior is beautiful and very spacious. Loved the bathroom! The cleanliness is exceptional! The underfloor heating is very effective and the view from upstairs is breathtaking. The location is perfect - you feel like you are in the middle of the country far away from the hustle and bustle but you still have the convenience of Weymouth close by. I can't recommend Peters place enough!

  • Vanessa is the best host we have ever stayed with. The stylist touches and the thoughtful extras always make the difference. We will definitely be staying again and are already looking forward to a summer stay. Thank you again for such a lovely stay

  • This was our second stay at The Potting Shed, and, (hopefully), not our last. It is so beautiful, so quiet and tranquil. If I'd been any more relaxed I'd have been in a coma! Vanessa is very thoughtful; providing lots of extra touches like fresh eggs, cotton buds and tin foil. We love it so much that I don't even bother looking at anywhere else on Airbnb now, just go straight to The Potting Shed. I don't believe there could be any place better in the UK

  • Beautiful accomodation which was perfect for us and our 2 well behaved cocker spaniels. The enclosed courtyard was perfect as well as access to the secure field across the road for a little run around (They never get tired even after hours worth of walking through Somerset!) Vanessa lives on site and came to say hello when we arrived even though it was later at night than planned. She was always easily contactable if needed. The Potting Shed is in a beautiful location and enabled us to explore some lovely areas We would definitely love to come back!

  • The Potting Shed was absolutely perfect. It's a beautiful barn conversion with everything you could need. Vanessa was so welcoming and there were lots of little touches like fresh eggs and local cider. She also gave us loads of helpful local advice. If you want to relax by a log fire in a beautiful rural location, I cannot recommend this place enough.

  • We stayed at Lisa's air bnb for a weekend work trip along with our toddler and two dogs. It is a converted building in the garden of her thatched cottage. The village is very sweet and the air bnb was perfect for our stay. Lisa's little touches were so thoughtful and made our stay even better. Lisa provided a travel cot and the room was very comfy. We ate in the local pub (white horse) on the Friday evening - they were very helpful and accommodating and the food was great. We visited RSPB Arne for work and the tank museum at Bovington - both were great visitor experiences and would highly recommend.
