Absolutely stunning setting in beautiful countryside, the cabin was extremely well equipped with a lovely welcome hamper on arrival. We had two wonderful evenings outside at the fire pit. It was beautifully cosy inside with the wood burning stove and it was also amazing to sit out on the veranda. The bed was very comfortable and our cockerpoo was very appreciative of his welcome pack and very much enjoyed his stay. Very much recommended for a thoroughly relaxing stay. Communication with Amber very quick and efficient.

Great place to stay, camping grounds are really tidy and inviting. The accommodation was super ! Clean and spacious and had everything we needed. Bit steep on the price, but for one night it did the job.

The cottage is very cozy and clean. Lots of greenery and beautiful nature all around. Perfect for a retreat in peace and quiet. Very clean toilets and showers. We recommend it to anyone who needs rest.

The 2 ladies that greeted us upon check in were friendly and helpful. the campsite is clean, peaceful, tranquil. plenty of toilet/shower blocks which were clean, modern and accessible whenever my family needed. all guests very friendly. as for the shepherds hut, it was warmer then expected with plenty of room and storage under the main double bed. mattress very comfortable and 2 single beds which could fit up to 5ft 2 child on comfortably. if your on a budget i would recommend arranging food (there is 2 electric hob perfect for pasta) as a family of 4 we walked to nearest pub restaurant st peters finger, was nice but pricey and limited menu. highly reccommended for short stay (1/2 nights) with local links for things to do

We had such a wonderful time at Tracy’s shepherd’s hut. We felt so at home and certainly chilled throughout our stay. Our children loved stroking and feeding the goats. The shepherd’s hut had everything you could want or need, with the great addition of a hot tub and a fire to toasts marshmallows on. Tracy was so friendly and fantastic at responding to messages. She kindly arranged for a birthday banner and cupcakes to be prepared to celebrate my husband’s birthday. We loved our time and were very sad to come home!

A lovely place that’s great for being cozy and romantic. Hot tub and a BBQ are a must 😄

Had a wonderful stay. The shepherds hut had everything we needed for a peaceful retreat and yet was near the beach and some great market towns. The outside space was lovely especially the hot tub overlooking the lake. Would definitely recommend.

Great little hut on the edge of the heathland, that perfectly suited a chilled night with our youngest son, he absolutely loved the hut, collecting wood for the fire and the rope swing . Perfect nights sleep had by all.

Amazing location, easy walking distance the Sauna on the beach, Anchor inn pub & Gold Cap/Coastal walks…. Also easily commutable to surrounding villages like Bridport & Westbay for extra restaurants, bars & activities like park run.

We had a really peaceful couple of days away. Dan was very helpful, the hot tub was ready when we arrived, the shepherds hut was very clean and well stocked with wood (and a lovely bottle of pét nat cider!) A good selection of pubs/restaurants as listed in the welcome pack in some idyllic villages - The Acorn Inn in Evershot was well worth a visit. Thank you for a lovely stay!

The shepherd's hut is the perfect peaceful getaway if you want to be in the middle of nature. Ducks, geese and a peacock wander the lawn - slice of heaven

We just enjoyed a lovely weekend stay in this gorgeous tranquil Shepherd's Hut in Dorset. The location was so private and quiet. Perfect opportunity for a digital detox! So easy to get around the local area to nearby Swanage & Corfe Castle. Beautifully designed and equipped for everything you could possibly need. We had a lovely and restful stay at Peter’s place. Beautiful peaceful surroundings but still in reach of Lyme Regis & fossil hunting (25 min drive). The hut was clean & spacious and the hot tub was lovely. We definitely hope to return in the future. The nearby goats added a certain something & put a smile on our faces!

Had a fantastic weekend. Location in easy reach of bus stop and pub just across the road if dont want to cook. However cooking facilities in the shepherds hut and even bbq provided. Perfect for dog walkers x

Genuine shepherd hut that was very well converted. All the amenities. Hot tub with a view! Excellent communication with host. Absolutely nothing to complain about (and I like complaining 😊)

We had a very relaxing stay, the location is so pretty, the hut is set in a great sized garden, which is not overlooked at all. It is close to a cafe and gorgeous gift shop, and a short walk to the village shops and pub. We had a fire pit both nights and just relaxed. Andrea was great and recommended the Somerset Cider Bus which was a 10 minute drive away, and that was a lot of fun, that's on every Saturday until Autumn. Andrea was friendly, helpful and a great host. We even bought some of their stone carvings. The hut itself is awesome, with a great eye for detail, it is a beautiful place to stay, you won't be disappointed.

Really lovely stay in an idyllic location. The hut is beautifully decorated and really well kitted out with everything you need. You do need a car as the location is pretty rural but there is so much to do within a short drive - lots of lovely walks and pubs, and Shaftesbury also only a short drive. Would really recommend for a lovely getaway!

well what can we say. It's Rural... with a capital R as Jo says. Such stunning views. The pool is a lovely little extra that you won't often find at other spots like this. Only a 5 minute drive to the beach where we found a few fossils! The Hens were very friendly pottering around. Jo... well shes blooming marvellous. Couldn't ask for more in a host, we left feeling as though we had made a friend. We have booked to come back already.. as Jo says.... she doesn't say goodbye. We say " see you later" and we absolutely will see her later. Thank you Jo for making our little break away so lovely. .. see you soon... 🐓🐔🐾🦆♥️ Riley & Lucia
