Beautiful Sounds of Birds Singing in the Morning and Many Local Family Owned places to eat etc close by. I highly Recommend.

First time staying in a RV and I LOVED it Austin & his girlfriend was very kind & understanding . They allowed me to have early check in , they allowed me to check out late .

We had a great time at Nick and Deannas. We came down for Daytona bike week, and booked a stay at their Airbnb. We really enjoyed everything especially the two doggies Camo and Maia. And the fact they let us park our bikes in their garage. Thanks for your hospitality.

Deanna was very accommodating, she printed a informational tri-folded brochure with a personal message :). The bed was so comfortable, with bamboo pillows. I slept so well. There was coffee, creamer and fresh fruit with a sign help yourself. I was able to do my laundry which helped me a great deal as I had been camping prior. The price was incredible, and I would highly recommend this stay!

Cute puppies and amazing amenities made our stay. Loki, our German Shepard had an absolute blast playing with Camo and Maia! Nick and Deanna we’re both very welcoming and answered any questions we had. My husband and I truly enjoyed our stay.

I have booked quite a few AirBnB rooms over the past three and a half years and taking everything into account, especially value and location, I would rate Deanna's home in the top three of my stays. She provided everything I needed and have come to expect from hosts in order to make my visit comfortable and convenient.

Michelle was a great host and easy to communicate with. Her place was clean and exactly what we needed. One note is the bed is pretty firm, which some people like and some people don’t. It wasn’t a big deal for me since I was just there one night. But everyone’s preference is different on that. :) I’d stay here again if I was in the area! It was close to the Sanford airport which is why we chose this place.

This is an awesome place! Such a huge surprise when you pull in and see the entire place! Loved this but a car may be necessary if you are looking to go to some tourist attractions near Orlando or Daytona! Great stay and would recommend for couples traveling alone 🙂

I was impressed with the communication and the home. It’s a very beautiful home that is situated in a great location for driving within DeLand, as well as easy access to I-4. Roughly 5 minutes to the main drag of town. Excellent! Lastly, Fernando was very friendly!

Fernando is such a pleasant, considerate host. The city of Deland is charming with lots of wonderful, interesting restaurants and quaint stores. Beaches are a short drive and the Deland airport minutes away with sky diving to watch or participate, your choice. Tennis, pickle ball courts and shuffleboard courts nearby also are a possibility.

If you are looking for a 1 or 2 night stay in the Deland area with basic amenities, Fernando's place is just that. We were in town for my son's baseball tournament and it was very close to Stetson University Baseball field. Fernando was very accommodating and quick on his responses. Beds were comfortable and the bathroom had a private entrance from the bedroom. Towels were plush Fernando had coffee with 2 mugs waiting for us when we woke up.

Great stay. The room was comfortable, Fernando is a friendly host. Enjoyed our conversation. Not too far from the train station, which is why I was staying in the first place. I would definitely stay here again!

We rented the cottage for an entire month and had a great time. Ron and Ann are very welcoming and pleasant people. They were there when you needed them but certainly respected our privacy. The cottage had everything you may possible need; pots, pans, all kinds of utensils, salt/pepper, lots of towels and sheets, cleaning stuff, vacuum cleaner etc. We had some cooler days, but there are 2 electric heaters in the cottage which heat up the place pretty quick. Air conditioning was also working very good and all the rooms had ceiling fans. There are 2 golden retrievers in the back yard. Molly and Marley, very friendly dogs, who only pay attention to you when you're snacking something on the back porch. :) We spent most of our mornings on the back porch overlooking the canal. That was very peaceful, watching all the different birds, turtles and the occasional small fishing boat going by. The direct area is kind of quiet. I think it's mostly older people, retired or snowbirds, living there, what we liked. We had our car to visit neighbor towns and the beautiful springs in the area. The store in Barberville, where they sell all kinds of pottery and huge statues etc. is worth a visit and Deland is not that far, as well as Daytona and Ocala for shopping. Overall we had an awesome time and Ron and Ann's place is certainly recommendable!

Wonderful cottage situated on the St. Johns river in a very quaint community. Private deck, extremely clean. Outstanding! Ron and Ann are fabulous hosts and I would recommend it for anyone. I would do it all over again - and may very well do so!

Ron and Ann are fabulous hosts that run a lovely cottage overlooking a canal that's on the St Johns River. They were very friendly and helpful hosts who took the time to tell us about the area's attractions and were alot of fun to be around. The cottage itself is spacious, fully stocked and has a Florida room and porch which is very quiet and pleasant to chill out on. The attractions in surrounding areas we enjoyed most were the trails in the woods, the springs and the St Johns River. We wholly recommend you give this place a try, its a slice of Old Florida which not many will get to see and experience. We will definitely be back! Shay and Dory

What a wonderful stay at Ron and Ann's place! They are very warm and welcoming hosts. We found their place comfortable and very clean. The location is a perfect base for exploring the area. We enjoyed the deck right on the water, a well stocked kitchen, pool table, as well as the washer and dryer. We highly recommend!

Wow! What an amazing place to stay. Ron and Ann’s place was only excelled by them. Ron and Ann are a lovely couple who went to every length, above and beyond, to ensure we loved our stay. They gave us so much advise for places to go and things to do and they were really friendly and lovely people. They provide everything that you may need for your stay, from cookware to laundry. The space is perfect, we loved sitting out in the evening over the water and then when it got dark playing a few games of pool. I loved that they had a full kitchen so that I could cook us a few meals during our stay. There was parking on their driveway which is something we always look for on our travels. There is nothing i didn’t love about our stay here. I highly highly recommend a stay here. Thank you both so much!

Grace is a great place to escape! It has a back yard for pups and a nice, cozy, art centered atmosphere inside. If you’re looking for somewhere that’s close to a lot of springs and parks, this is it; the occasional train that comes through probably won’t even bother you because you’re so eager to get up early to enjoy your day and so tired after that you sleep like a baby. St. Augustine is only about 1.5 hours away as well if you want a cool place to do a day trip or night out. Rachel was a great host; check in/check out was easy and she even provided us some extra cooking items since we were there for Thanksgiving.

Host was great

This is a cute old Florida style Conch Cottage. With the artistic and homey touches Rachel has added, it is a comfortable home away from home. The large fenced back yard was a great place for our puppy to run. And the large spacious front porch was a great place for us to relax with a glass of wine.

Grace cottage is a wonderful gem in Deleon Springs, the owner is a brilliant artist and is in a great location walking distance to the best pancake house in the Springs. And very quiet.

It's a nice home, clean and spacious. We enjoyed the restaurant suggestions they left for us and also got a good nights sleep on the comfy beds. There was good communication and they are quite friendly, we'd definitely stay again!

This property is in a great location! close to everything like restaurants and grocery stores. It had all the little things we needed for our family to have a great vacation, more than what you could expect in a hotel. I love the backyard for my busy children, the ease of parking, entry/exit, and the guestbook to enjoy the city. Check in was extremely easy and he even left the light on!

Lisa and Jeff's place was exactly what we expected. It had everything we needed and was in a good location to go to the springs in the Ocala National Forest. They also had great communication and check-in and check-out was very easy.

I rated this cabin a Five because it was just as advertised. It is not a villa on the beach but it is a small, clean functional, older cabin with two beds and a pull out couch and a small complete kitchen. There is a full bathroom (tub with a shower) with more hot water than you will ever need. This is a cabin, all in one room & perfect for a single, a couple or a family. Cabin is located in a blue collar fishing/retirement community near the St. John's River and plenty of fishing lakes. It is 20+ miles west of Daytona. There are at least two good local restaurants and a local grocery less than a mile up the main road. There is also an upscale bar/grill/restaurant right on the river. I choose the location because it is close to the Volusa Speedway which hosts 12 days of dirt car sprint and late model racing at the same time as the Daytona 500 speedweek. The hosts were great on communication and check in was easy. Also they helped make sure that I was able to hook up to wireless, the internet and to tv stations. Over all this was a good value and i will be back.

We had an amazing experience. The space has an intrinsic charm and comfort. The cabin aesthetic is good for the soul. We felt reunited with nature. We were happy with the level of privacy and ease of entrance. Truly satisfied with our choice in this space.

place was just as advertised located in a rustic neighborhood with close access to water. ideal for kayaking and canoeing. Jeff also clued us into nearby Alexander and juniper areas. the former is great for snorkeling in crystal clear springs. Florida isn't just about beaches!

The place was as expected, quaint and perfect for a place to sleep while in Astor. Jeff and Lisa made sure we had everything we needed.

Vicki's place is perfect, very private, quiet and peaceful. Every amenity is here, the outdoor space is beautiful. Vicki has been very responsive to any communication. We enjoyed our short stay so much that we extended our booking until mid April! We're staying through the entire Central New York winter!

This is a sparkling clean studio set on a beautiful and serene lot. Every inch of space is well utilized and my 7 nights were comfortable and peaceful. If one so desired, they could sustain themselves right there in the studio without ever having to leave except for an occasional grocery run. The washer and dryer were an especially appreciated bonus. Thanks to the host for providing such a lovely place for travelers to stay!

We were in town for a wedding in DeLeon Springs - this little property suited our needs perfectly! It's situated on a nice plot of land in the rural outskirts of DeLand. Close to the town, but far enough away that the days and nights are quiet. The house was nice and clean and Vicki was super helpful in her communication. It was humid, but the AC kept the place nice and cool! The water supply seems to be well water, so it may be a bit sulphuric for some - we just grabbed some gallons from the store. Just a bit of advice. All in all, the place was wonderful and we would 10/10 stay again next time we're in the area!

My stay was very comfortable and pleasent anibal was very kind to take me where i needed to and was always aware of my needs he showed me around and also took me to the airport.

Anibal tried to make my stay as smooth as possible. Although i didn't do my research well on the proximity to Orlando, I managed just fine and Anibal showed me around the first day of arrival. I mistakenly booked a day over but couldn't contact airbnb to correct it. So i left a day before my departure anyways

A GREAT VALUE. GET MORE THAN YOU PAY FOR. Anibal is a great guy. He is very interesting and easy to talk to although he is very sensitive to when you want to have private time. He is very accommodating. The room was as described. It is in a gated apartment complex on a very big lake. He has two rooms. A master suite w private bath and a second BR. I stayed in the smaller of the two BRs which was still large and had a large closet. The BR had sliding glass doors leading to a screened in balcony and being on the third floor facing west had great sunsets. The BR had a large desk and a comfortable office chair with the WIFI router on the desk for 5 continuous bars. The hall bath just outside the BR door was for your own private use. Close to town and one mile from I-4. OH DID I SAY WHAT A VERY GOOD DEAL THIS IS?

I’ll stay here anytime I’m in the area and it’s available. Good location, and the host is great. From a value standpoint I love it because oftentimes I just need a place to crash, and Larry has everything you need here in a private little package.

Chris’s place is cozy, convenient, and old-fashioned. We booked this place for one night stay on our 15 hour road trip. Chris provides detail check in instruction days before, which makes a smooth check in upon our late night arrival. We enjoyed our stay very much as the house is full of uniqueness. Overall a 5 star experience.

Kay's place is a great thrifty place to stay especially if you need several bedrooms and a large shared space for hanging out with family and friends. It is definitely out in the rural area or Florida, but close enough to restaurants and fun things to do.

Kay’s place is great! We even saw wild turkeys while we were there. It’s a bit off the beaten path, but close enough to get the things you need in DeLand and to get to the local parks. You’re close to Cassadaga and Blue Springs too!

We loved it

We came to DeLand for the Art Festival and to visit the manatees at Blue Springs. We also took a day trip to New Smyrna Beach. The home is about 11 miles outside of town but we liked the privacy of where it was located. It was super quiet. The house is starting to show her age but was very clean, which was very important to us. Be sure to bring your own toiletries and bottled water for making coffee, drinking and to make ice cubes. The water is a little sulfery from the well but not too strong. WiFi and cable TV was nice to have at night when we came home. Kay's place is a great value for the money. We would stay there again.

Jay is a unique host. He has a story, and if lucky enough to hear it, you’ll appreciate the accommodations even more. A great host who will give as much to conversation as he will to your desired privacy. I’ll be staying again in the future...

Jay was a such a wonderful host he taught my son how to drive a golf cart took us to the restaurant, the movies and the beach. He was very considerate and thoughtful!

Beautiful home, LPGA golf course community at it's finest!!

Jay's home is lovely in a wonderful neighborhood. I use a wheelchair and other than the bathtub which I couldn't use, his house was entirely accessible. Jay keeps the place very clean and the bed my husband and I shared was super comfortable. Shopping is nearby and the beach isn't a long drive away. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Viktoriyas place was very cozy, it was literally a 7 minute walk to the beach. She was very understanding when I got locked out and had to call a locksmith being that she was in Poland. The condo was a wonderful stay and I would def recommend it to others. Thank you Viktoriya I will def be coming back soon.

You won’t find anyone more responsive to your needs than Viktoriya. Not only is she super responsible, she is also very professional and friendly. The grounds are well maintained and always look great. The location is directly across the street from the beach, easy access, and only a short walk from her unit. Great Restaurants, a Grocery Store, and Retail Shopping are available close by. You’ll feel “at home”, safe, and cozy.

The condo is on the third floor, close to the elevator. The condo is a one bedroom with a kitchen and a living room and is very comfortable. We enjoyed the full kitchen and being able to cook our meals made the stay very economical. The pool area is wonderful. There are plenty of loungers on a large pool deck and the pool is large and clean. To sum up our stay, we had a great time and we would definitely stay at this location again. Jim

If you are looking for a quiet, clean place to stay then this is it! Adorable suite. Bedroom had so much space. Couch for sitting. Desk to be organized. Dresser to see all of your clothes. Kitchenette has a coffee maker, stove top and refrigerator. Bathroom was clean. The atrium outside of the room was wonderful! A great place to sit and enjoy. Hostess was right there if you needed anything too. Turkeys greeted me one morning so you know you are in a quiet natural area of Deland. Thanks

Jean is super friendly and very prompt. The place was super clean and cozy!

Cottage at Equavale in Leon Springs felt very safe, private, and away from it all. My personal AT&T cell service and internet worked fine there. We did not try the code provided in the welcome book. Private gate and fully fenced property with paved driveway and private paved parking. House is single level with no stairs. Full-time gardener, John, keeps the grounds immaculate!!! He was the only staff member that we encountered as most of our time was spent sightseeing. He was very hospitable and great to talk to. The cottage is nicer in person than the pictures show. Very roomy and clean. Bathroom is beautifully updated with marble-look tiles in large walk in shower with pretty glass door. Lots of spare linens for bed and bath. Bedrooms have closets with hangers and empty dresser drawers. Mattresses are okay. Four pillows on each bed. We were comfortable and slept well. Kitchen was very serviceable. Fridge had some OJ, cheese, and condiments. We added eggs and milk for the next guests. No stove or oven...but there are plenty of small appliances- a double hotplate, electric skillet, electric water heater, coffee maker, and microwave, ect. There is a sign warning not to use multiple kitchen electronics at the same time. We had no problems and never tripped the breaker. Sufficient dishes, cookware, utensils, dish soap, paper towels and linens. Spices, zippered storage bags and aluminum foil in the drawers. I didn't notice any oil, so we used margarine that was in the fridge. I watched the weather on the TV. Did not see instructions for the three remote controls, but we figured out how to get the local station without help. I would highly recommend staying here. We walked the beautiful grounds one morning and my friend taught me some things about the dressage arena. I'd never seen one before and asked her about the mirrors. We did not use the pool. But it did look clean and inviting. Thank you Jean for the wonderful stay!!!

Had a pleasant stay at Jean's home which seconds as an equestrian training ranch. Private apartment on property, perfect location for star gazing. Great for family's on vacay.

Beautiful property and cozy cottage, with everything you need! We enjoyed twice daily walks, admiring the horses as well as the landscaping Jean has done over the years. Access to the pool, whether to swim or just relax pool side was a definite plus. I hope to come back!

We really enjoyed the place, was easy to find, loved the country setting, was clean and easy to find, very private and felt secure.

This is my second year staying at Jean's cottage while visiting family in FL. Jean is always super responsive and the cottage on her horse farm is a fantastic place to stay. Being able to walk around and watch the horses is a big plus.

Great location for a wedding we attended 2 miles away. Country cottage was cute and relaxing. Walking the horse farm grounds was beautiful. Will need to bring the family next time and jump in pool.

Awesome and beautiful property! Clean cottage, which was perfect for my friend and I - the horses were very cool to go say wsup to as well! Short drive to multiple fun things, would definitely stay again!

Very clean, comfortable room. Quiet residential neighborhood; restaurants, etc not walkable distance but easily accessible by car. Fernando is a very friendly and helpful host.

The house sits right at the bend in a street and is beautiful and picturesque. Our host keeps a beautifully clean place and without us even asking refunded our money because we had to leave early due to an issue with one of our children. We never asked for the refund and it was a surprise to see it. We were very thankful and truly enjoyed meeting our host.

Great location near Blue Springs State Park. The bed was comfortable, shower was nice, and room and amenities were more than adequate. Host was super fast at communications. Highly recommended!

Rob is a very friendly host. Checkin is very easy. He also explains everything that is available and how the door lock works. Have made a trip to St. Augustine was a good starting point for Daytona and St. Augustine. Would book again next time

We left Brazil to visit some cities in Florida. In Daytona we stayed at Rob's house and he was very attentive to us. The house is pleasant.
