A super, clean, beautiful, two-story houseboat apartment 30 minutes by bike from Amsterdam! Great for couples who want to spend a weekend in Amsterdam. The standard, kitchen-bathroom-bedroom is simply fantastic, almost everything new. It is a quiet location that invites you to relax! Only recommendable!

We felt right at home. Everything was so lovingly prepared! In German there is a special word for it: "cozy". ;-). Thank you especially for the fresh flowers, the many small treats and that the City Card was already ready for the tram! Frans and his wife are perfect hosts. We would choose this property again at any time. Also highly recommended in winter. Amsterdam was not so crowded and you could enjoy the museums in a relaxed way. Cycling on the dike right outside the front door makes you forget the proximity to the big city.

Frans's houseboat is beautiful! It is exactly as described and outstandingly clean. Perfect for a solo traveler or couple with views of the canal and small touches thay anyone would appreciate. Plus, Frans and his wife live next door and are very easy to reach if you ever need anything.

We had a very pleasant stay. The Houseboat is magnificent and the tranquility exceptional. Harry and Ann put everything at our disposal to make you feel at home. Amsterdam is a beautiful city and we will definitely come back to Harry and Ann's.

The houseboat met our expectations. For the future, it would be great, at least for us, if the next time we came there was still a television available.

The Nova houseboat is a delight. We stayed early March, but the sun deck would be fab to use in nice weather. The beds are very comfortable and the living space is generous. Tea and coffee facilities and excellent cooking equipment. The bathroom was large with an efficient shower. My partner loved the bike, but I could not manage the braking system on the back wheels, unfortunately. The place was spotless and peaceful; a real pleasure to visit. We travelled mainly by tram which proved an efficient and cost effective way to travel. Thank you Nova team.

Stef is a great host, very helpful and the room is quite cosy and super bright! And has a private terrace, located in the south side, would definitely stay again!

Stef allowed us to check in much earlier than originally planned, which was incredibly helpful considering how long the flight was. We were greeted by his neighbor who provided us the key, showed us around the flat, and gave us some insight on Amsterdam’s history along with some spots to check out. She was so very sweet and had the cutest pup! The space was perfect for a couple and had a lovely view from the terrace. It was extremely easy to get around the city by using the tram since there was a station just a 10 min walk away. The neighborhood was quiet and was very safe to walk around at night. We enjoyed our stay at Stef’s place and would love to visit again. He is a very kind and communicative host.

Such a lovely room, Stef was so welcoming and very helpful with any requests we had. Walking distance from trams that will take you to the centrum or museums/galleries. Lots of natural light, really nice space with a terrace. The dog was so cute and well trained. Had a great stay, and would definitely recommend!

It is a great place to be. You have all you need close to the house. There is a bus that goes to schipol and the public transport is amazing. Astrid and Ed welcome you nicely and if you want for an extra fee, jessey or sydney can pick you up at airport. They are great guys.

Arjan’s flat is a great place to stay if you want a full experience of Amsterdam. Located in the beautiful river district, you are a short bike ride away from the thick of the main city but at the same time you are far enough away to enjoy some peacefulness. The accommodation itself is great, bed are very comfortable and I would describe the cleanliness as ‘spotless’. Which was stepped up by Arjan whilst we were visiting due to the coronavirus, I felt safer at such a worrying time; further showing how the host really takes care of everything to do with the lodgers wellbeing. If you are staying in Amsterdam for the first time or even if you’ve been to amsterdam a lot, this is a great place to stay; the accommodation, host, location etc. are all incredible.

Extremely cozy, placed in a quiet and calm neighborhood and it took us 20 minutes by bike to get to central Amsterdam. The place itself was very clean, and even though it's small, it has everything you need. The shower is in the middle of the small bathroom with two shower curtains which prevent the rest of the bathroom from getting wet. There's also a patio you can access with a bit more room if you want to chill for a bit. In the end the experience was very pleasant, specially for the price.

Xander is a very nice person! His place was clean and tidy, the bed and shower were great (hot water is always a relief at the end of the day), and it’s close to the station. We had no problems with the other guests, as we barely saw them. Would stay there again!

Small but cozy place near supermarket and a small mall. It is a bit far from the center of Amsterdam, Uber eats didn't deliver there and I found the nearby dining options very sparse. But it is a good place to stay.

She provided many great tips on where to eat and what to do. You have to walk down the street to a restaurant called oh! It is fantastic. It was super clean and cozy. The hosts gave us a ride to the airport and were super friendly.

Super comfortable and homey. Bus stop right across the street from the house to take you into Amsterdam (25 min ride). Bike rental shop 10 min walk from the house and if you’re daring, biking into Amsterdam is possible!! Private safe bike lanes and you get to see aalsmeer leading into the hustle and bustle of city center. I loved this house! Would definitely stay again

I had a very comfortable, quiet stay. All neccesary amenities and privacy I could've wished for. Very recommended for working people. Hosts were very amiable. Wi-Fi a bit weak upstairs where the rooms are, but not a big issue.

We were looking for a good location to participate in the Amsterdam Marathon; the bus station is a few minutes (by car) from her house, from where a bus (no. 347) takes you to the Olympich stadium in half an hour (day ticket costs € 11.5). We took breakfast and dinner at Tonny's 2nd house, 350 meters away. Very tasty (and much) dinner with wine at the table and dessert! There was another couple present who helped Tonny clean up ... nice people. The hostess was very flexible for both checking in and out: we were able to take a shower at 5.30 pm! (check out at 11 am, but then the marathon is still in full swing of course). Check in from 3 pm but we arrived at noon. We were allowed to drop off luggage earlier via the code at the front door. Tonny also responds very quickly when you ask her questions by email. Bedroom and bathroom not a super deluxe but more than enough to spend the night. We are satisfied!

We were visiting one night from 01.01-02-01 2020. The house is very beautiful and clean. By car to Amsterdam 30 minutes. The house has 3 rooms on the 2nd and 3rd floors and the first floor has a large kitchen and dining room. For guests there is everything you need. Thanks for the hospitality!

I stayed about 3 days with Mildred and the room was great. The wi-fi was a bit spotty, but Mildred mentioned it would be fixed. Also, friendly reminder it is a single shared bathroom in case you need more privacy. The room was very clean, and Mildred was very nice and attentive to make sure I enjoyed my stay. The small pup didn't bother anyone. I spent my time in the city, easily reachable by bus. Thank you Mildred!

What can I say about my stay at the Hedgehog Cottage. I came to this country knowing no one and not knowing many things about the local way of doing things. I went into the Hedgehog Cottage a lonely soul and I left having a Dutch family. Mark and Marcel have been outstanding as hosts. So helpful, so supportive, so kind. The house is kept meticulously clean. Mark went out of his way to ensure that I was comfortable. I wish the world had more Marks and Marcels. People who are just so kind and giving. I will never forget my stay with them. It has made my transition to the Nethelands so much more easier. They were always available to give advice, to help when necessary and to encourage me finding my feet here. Mark's breakfasts are divine. Being a vegetarian wasn't a problem at all. Mark just accommodated me in his usual efficient way. So, all in all, my stay at the Hedgehog Cottage was first class. Absolutely superb. Thank you Mark and Marcel for a truly lovely stay.

Mark was a wonderful host!!! I have stayed in a lot of Airbnb over the years, and none of them literally none of them comes close to the hospitality and place you will get in Mark cottage. Like others said it felt like staying in a 5-star hotel with added benefits of Mark as a host. He was very thorough with all the instructions and was very prompt with his responses. Yes, it is bit opposite direction of city centre (from Schipol) but for the price and location, this is a great place to stay at. Even for the people who are coming to Amsterdam for the first time, he is a great help guiding through the city. Thank you Mark for the great hospitality again!!

If you don't mind a short drive by bus from the Amsterdam center (every 7 min) I would recommend everyone to stay here.

This room is perfect for a couple to stay in for one or more nights, it's close to Amsterdam (and Schiphol Airport) and is located in a very quiet, nature-rich environment. There is a very nice bedroom, bathroom and even a little kitchen with some space to sit down. All in all a very nice bed and breakfast.

Large, great apartment. Awesome breakfast, available and ready whenever you want. Super clean and comfy beds. We took a taxi from the airport to get there which ended up €46 and 15 min. We took the bus back to the airport in the morning, easy to walk to the stop through a neighborhood nearby, 50 min and €6 per person. The host was helpful figuring out our bus trip and showed us www.ov-planner.ne to do so.

Traditional bed and breakfast. 15 mins to the airport. Takes a little while for Ubers to arrive. But pleasant for an overnight stay.

This air BnB is such a great find! Breakfast was wonderful each day. location was great for us to be outside the city but close enough to go in and see the sights. Our hosts were welcoming and warm. The common areas were delightful. I can't recommend this place enough. We will likely book again for our next trip there!

Car pickup & dropoff was very convenient. Rens-Jan picked us at 11.30pm with a big smile! Room was spacious, clean & comfortable. Marleen & Rens-Jan were warm & friendly and made us feel welcome in their home. Love their coffee machine and hot shower with heat setting was very convenient. Such a great way to end our European holiday!

Absolutely perfect spot in the country for our family! Conveniently close to the airport, several cute towns worth visiting, and Amsterdam. Marleen and Rens are awesome hosts, easy to communicate with, and go above and beyond with their bed and breakfast they’ve created. We also enjoyed their game room with a ping pong table, shuffle board, etc. One of our favorite Airbnb’s ever!

Bruna brought me fresh bread from the baker shortly after I arrived 😊Very clean and the perfect size for one person; I would definitely recommend if you want something that feels homey and is close to the airport. It does have a “cabin” feel to it, and I had to kill a few bugs during my stay, so maybe not for the less outdoorsy.

The airbnb is perfect for couples or solo travelers. It's in a very pretty location and the airbnb itself is very nice. The hosts provided breakfast and we were also able to park at the house.

Bruna and her husband have created a super cute and well thought out tinyhaus on their flower farm. Everything is brand new and perfectly arranged so that you have everything you need from bathroom supplies, linen, kitchen stuff, and little snacks ready in the fridge when you get there. The space is very quiet and tranquil and I got a lot of work done there, plus when I was finished for the day I was able to walk 15mins down the edge of the water and catch a bus to Hooffdorp and meet my friends in Amsterdam Centraal in less than 45 minutes total.

Bruna’s place is a great little escape outside of Amsterdam. Getting into the city can be challenging but the accommodation makes up for it

This was my first night over Airbnb and I highly recommend this place. I had a room in the annex of a beautiful old villa surrounded by a park-like complex. Everything went very well (parking, check in / out, breakfast in the villa ...). Greetings to all that I met there.

This is amazing place full of peace and possibilities. It's just outside the busy Amsterdam area near the parks and sea. The hospitality of the Sisters is amazing and make you feel at ease all the time. I'm happy I was able to visit the place. I highly recommend it for all who need a little time just for themselves. For this who what to rest under the trees with a book or take a walk across the parks. This is the place you will feel like home.

Has everything I expected. Clean, nicely decorated. Commutation was fast, check in procedure was easy. Only thing to note is that it's a bit far by public transport (the bus that stops nearby is a bit infrequent). If you don't mind a little walk(very nice neighborhood) this is not an issue. Shared bathroom was ok, it was very tidy. Overall I was satisfied!

The house is wonderful, super modern, with impeccable cleanliness, and the neighborhood is incredible. You should just keep in mind that you are far from the center of Amsterdam, this can be good or bad, depending on your point of view. Take time and travel value into account as well. I recommend!

Nice suburb of Uithoorn, beautiful modern house. Very clean place, comfortable bed, close to a bus stop for transportation. It was handy for me, since I have friends in Uithoorn to visit.

The place is great, a very cozy living room and good bedrooms! It's little bit too far from the city center (you have to pay for a regional bus, a GVB card won't work), but the area is great, small canals, parks and a large water reservoir (check the map, it's huge! ) to watch beautiful sunsets. The house is shared with other guests, but there is enough space and privacy. Lucille is a really great host, she helped me a lot when I arrived! Thank you again, Lucille, my stay was very pleasant and comfortable!

The property is very close to the airport, and easily accessible from Amsterdam. It offers a nice, quiet slice of Dutch suburban life. Very comfortable rooms with fresh, clean linens. Attention is paid to detail in intriguing decor and meeting guests' needs. I would definitely stay here again next time I am in the Netherlands!

Everything is super clean in the house, the village close to it and all the water around makes the stay very nice, even for a walk and a diiner, and the location is perfect when you have to reach the airport early and want to spend fair money on your stay.

Yetvart's place is a very cute and extraordinarily clean house on a river. The rooms are cozy, but well decorated with thoughtful touches and very clean. Everything you could need was provided for. Yetvart had great communication for the check-in process and directions. It was very convenient to take the bus or an uber back and forth to the airport. The stairs are a bit steep if you have a big suitcase, but they give the house character. I had a lovely time and would absolutely stay there again.

Very comfortable place with personal looks. Easy to reach Schiphol from there so fits well for busy traveller.

Helen and Herman nice, personable hosts. The summer house is perfect for a short stay. There is no storage space for longer stays. The house is conveniently located for trips to Amsterdam (30 min.) And to the coast (30-40 min.)

A stones throw from Amsterdam with all the peace and tranquility you can handle - swans and herons at the end of the garden, bikes to ride, canoes to sail - a lovely quiet place to spend a few unhurried days.

Helen and Herman's little house is in a quiet place even if you can hear a little planes at night. The house is very clean with a washing machine and a dishwasher. It was perfect! One of the child rooms has a smaller child bed of 1m50 max. Access to Amsterdam is convenient and inexpensive by car to the P + R Amsterdam RAI car park (25 min) and 5 min to metro. Perfect accommodation to rest and visit Amsterdam and the Dutch countryside. Very warm welcome.

Small house in the countryside of Amsterdam very nice, Well equipped and well arranged space, bed under loft with ceiling height of + 1m, a room with bed for 1 child under 1.30m and the other normal child room. Located 30 minutes from the first P + R Amsterdam, quiet location (excluding the air corridor of the nearby airport).

The holiday with 2 children was very nice in de Kwakel. Toy and climbing frame available. Excursions on site by own canoe with children were very good. The location was great, close to many great sights and especially to Amsterdam.
