This was a 💎 gem! We stayed for Christmas week. Susan provided a wonderful holiday environment with Christmas music and cinnamon rolls baking. I slept so sound as there is a wonderful energy in the home. Location was wonderful. I will definitely be staying again when I visit.

What can I say other than humble and cozy! I had an amazing stay here at Susan’s beautiful B and B. The room was absolutely immaculate and felt very warm and inviting. Susan was most helpful with tips and places for activities while on my visit. What a wonderful home and amazing host! 12/10 stars!!!!

Susan is a wonderful host. She respects your privacy but is always available if you need something. The house is comfortable, clean and has a good location. Close to the highway, grocery stores etc. I would definitely stay at Susan’s house again.

Susan was awesome, she welcomed my daughter and I home just about everyday we were there. My daughter loved her place Very much as well as her dog Puck. She also enjoyed talking with Susan. I wanted to come back when I returned to GJ, but she’s all booked out. Oh well.

This was probably the best value we've had staying in the Valley (out of 8+ times). Very affordable, clean, great location to drive anywhere we needed and a huge kitchen (big plus, since a big reason we don't stay in hotels on these trips is to cook as a group).

Linda’s bathroom and kitchen were stocked with everything a person needed if they didn’t bring anything! And I didn’t, so am thankful Linda was considerate enough to have a well stocked home.. she communicated effortlessly and immediately, loved that! She quickly answered any and all questions.. Linda has a great set up and check in was quick and easy. Her unit is very spacious, clean, and the king size bed is awesome!

Great place for the price, about a 40 minute drive to the Colorado national monument.

Pamela and Jordan were both very welcoming and responsive. We felt immediately at home when entering the space. We traveled with our two pups and the park right down the street was perfect for morning and evening walks. The place isn’t far from great trails and the Colorado Monument. Overall, we highly recommend!

Amazing place great location

We were in town to work with CMU. Heidi's place is in a great location and we were able to walk most days. The space was well heated and it felt private and secure.

Its a quaint little suite with a good sized kitchen. The decorating makes it feel very homey. The dining table was small so there's not much room for a large meal, but other than that there was plenty of space for us three guys, so it would fit a family of 4 comfortably as well!

Heidi’s place is everything you want and need in GJ; convenient, cozy, and everything else! The hospitality and clear communication are such perks!

We loved our stay! The place was clean and cozy. We had no trouble finding it with the directions provided and check in was a breeze. Heidi was very helpful and responsive to my questions. The light from the alleyway does shine into the bedrooms through the blinds, but I brought an eye mask so it didn’t bother me. We’d absolutely stay again next time we’re in the area.

This place is a trip back in time for me. I grew up with the original family of this house. It’s only a half mile from my Mother’s home. We all have known each other for decades, so it was a great trip down memory lane! The location is perfect and hospitality gracious beyond words! I also ran into a guest there who grew up with me and one of my best friends. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay!

I had a late night of traveling and found Jes’ Airbnb. She was very quick to respond and gave excellent direction. Her place is clean, well stocked, and a pleasure to stay in. Highly recommended.

Fun little space!

Great little basement place, very nice dog if you like that which I love when away from my own pups. Nice amount of space kinda like a small one bedroom. Only thing some people may not like is children overhead running around, but they clearly had a set bedtime and were quiet before 9pm. Great host and location also, would definitely return!

Location, accomodations, and the host's speedy responsesmade this a great stay. Plenty of space and close to downtown. It was a great fit for us and Jess accepted our last minute request.

My husband and I stayed here for three nights. It was just what we were looking for -- walking distance to town, budget-friendly. You do need to be comfortable climbing a ladder to reach the loft bed. Also, the kitchen is very small and basic -- you probably wouldn't want to attempt to cook an elaborate meal here. But it's fine for sandwiches, etc. The A/C worked well and the backyard was shady and peaceful.

This little cottage is a converted garage type structure that has everything you'd need for a short stay! My husband and I came to Grand Junction to get away for just a couple days before we have our first child here in a couple weeks. It was exactly what we needed. It was secluded and if you park in the alley it's an easier trip to the door. Windows abound in the place so there's a lot of natural light during the day! The window unit kept everything nice and cool despite the 100+ temps outside. The kitchen was very nice and the coffee, breakfast bars, creamer, eggs and butter were really nice extra touches that made us feel very welcome! Stephanie and Gene were incredibly responsive when we needed anything. The shower was a bit small for my husband (he's 6'3 and broad shouldered) but that's a normal thing for him. Also, the loft bed can be a bit difficult to get up at first as the mattress juts over the edge several inches though so the ladder is underneath it. Overall great stay, would totally recommend!!

Stephanie and Gene were excellent hosts, and we loved this location. Gene was nearby to help us with our check-in and to give us a general tour of the place. The cottage itself was perfect—comfortable, quiet, and secluded. As our visit was in the middle of June, something that quickly became notable was the highly effective air conditioner unit—it kept the place really cool, which was absolutely heavenly to come back to. Stephanie and Gene are also very attentive to little things, providing linens and plenty of towels beforehand, and leaving granola bars and filtered water for the first day. We had a situation which necessitated adding another day onto our reservation at the very last minute, and Stephanie was not only in quick communication, but was very helpful, understanding, and flexible. The geographical location itself was perfect—downtown was within a ten minute walk through beautiful tree-lined streets, and everything else was within a ten minute drive. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful, as well. And I don't know how they manage it, but every single person we interacted with in Grand Junction was incredibly pleasant and kind. We would definitely stay here again!

Perfect little cottage! It was very quiet and comfortable and in a great part of town. Amenities were excellent with cookware and hot plate available. Very private and extremely comfy! We look forward to staying again soon!

Michael is a terrific host! We really appreciated the separate entrance and the coffee he left for us. Don't forget to look up into the night sky. The stars are amazing!!

In addition to being in a great location in Palisade, Michael's space is comfy, clean, and cute! We especially enjoyed the kitchen, which was stocked with all of the cookware and dinnerware needed to prepare some tasty meals. There were plenty of extra towels and blankets/bedding available, and the WiFi worked great. I would have enjoyed staying here longer, and would absolutely stay here again!

Lalita's place is lovely! There is everything you need in one thoughtful space. My boyfriend and I got in later in the evening, and it was super easy to find in the dark. Getting into the home was a breeze and getting settled was even easier. It's nice that the yard is 420 friendly, after a long long day of driving, was exactly the comfort that what we needed.

Hard to beat the 420 friendly hippie house in Colorado. One thing’s for sure, I’ll be back.

Bev is an incredibly welcoming and thoughtful host and my stay here was really comfortable as a result of that. The location was ideal for me, pretty localized between my workplace, downtown, and outdoor activities. The room was very private but common areas were always open to me. Bev had all the essentials (kitchen supplies, extra linens, etc.) needed for making an extended stay as smooth as possible. I would highly recommend staying with Bev for anyone looking for an affordable, at-home experience for their extended stay!

Located in a very nice and safe area with sidewalk. Mackenzie and David are great hosts. They were hospitable, kind, helpful and attentive. They helped me figure out places of interest along my travel route, and offered to shared their breakfast food with me. The three big puppies were so much fun. They are really well mannered. Guest room, bathroom and other areas were clean and as described. It was overall a great stay I wish I could stay longer.

Linda met us when we arrived and escorted us to an apartment in her back yard. We had a short but comfortable stay. The space was clean and roomy with no steps. Linda was very nice.

Our flights were severely delayed and we ended up having to get a hotel instead of staying here. I can't speak to the cleanliness or amenities but Linda was very responsive and accommodated my request for a late arrival. I appreciated her willingness to be flexible as our travel plans changed!

The space at Leah and David's place was great, bigger than I expected and super comfortable. I like to walk, and enjoyed the country setting. This place was five plus stars!

We are like to camp and own our own Travel Trailer. This was just like camping in our trailer without having to drag it all the way there. The scenery is wonderful and we even spotted a bald eagle.

Terrific stay! Gorgeous RV right on the edge of the water...so peaceful. Hosts were welcoming and had great communication. Plus we got to feed the alpacas!

We didn't end staying in the airstream we booked, but John put us in the guesthouse that ended up being way more accommodating. The pellet stove kept us warm all night, and we were greeted by Barbecue, the baby pig, alpacas, friendly goats, kittens, and puppies. John was great at greeting us as well as the other homeowners on the property. We will definitely be back!

Corey's listing is just as described! Communication was great, I didn't meet Corey but was taken care of by John from the get go. Corey and John communicated with me instantly and responded to my questions really quickly. I booked this listing super last minute and enjoyed every bit of my time here. The kitchen space was enough, we were able to cook ourselves breakfast, lunch, and dinner. We also very much enjoyed how friendly the dogs behaved (Happy, Little, and Rocky) :)

Amazing spot and great host!

It's a very cute little RV trailer on the river! It was the perfect size for what we were looking for and it was a fun and unique location. They provided space heaters and a heated blanket so we were warm at night. They provided two TV's (one in the living area and one in the bedroom) and both had Netflix available, which was awesome.

We loved our stay in GJ with the Anderson's. They're a great bunch and their family is super welcoming. Looking forward to visiting again :)

One of the nicest and friendliest families I’ve stayed with across the US... Kimberly and her family have the most inviting and welcoming home... they are super involved in the local community and give great recommendations for local eats and attractions. I was invited to enjoy dinner with them and given the chance I recommend not passing the opportunity up... I only stayed for one night and am glad I got the chance to get to know her and her family. THANKS KIMBERLY!

This is my second stay at Home Away From Home! My son lives in Grand Junction and we opt for an Air BNB when I am there. This has been a perfect fit for us. Expect a comfortable, clean, nicely furnished place! Both times I have prepared meals without any problems as the kitchen is nicely furnished with what you will need. I recommend you give this place a try!

I doubt you will find another house cleaner, quieter, and more comfortable than this house. The host is absolutely lovely and she’s always quick to respond

Susan is very friendly and hospitable. She loves to share tips and recommendations for the local area. Her place is a good size, comfortable, and has all amenities of home. It also has private parking, a separate entrance, and a secure privacy fence. I will stay here again next time I'm in town.

Cozy & real quiet at night! The bathroom is right next to the bedroom. About a 15 minute walk to downtown, brewery & distillery. Theresa was real accommodating & quick to answer any questions. Perfect for a quick & affordable stay in Palisade!

The restored vintage trailer was an amazing “glamping” getaway for the weekend. Everything was tidy and clean, and the owner did an excellent job with communication, check in, and local knowledge of where to eat and what to do. I highly recommend it.

This is a little gem! Jessica thought of everything from a bluetooth speaker to a French press! Very well appointed! The kitchen had ample items to cook any meal needed and the grill worked perfectly for both grilling and cooking on the burner. The RV is super clean and the bed is comfortable. My husband is 6'3" so the shower was a bit tight for him but the removable shower head made it easier to shower :) The outdoor space is quiet and private and we loved sitting outside and relaxing. The location is very private, yet less than a mile walk to downtown. If glamping is your thing, this is a perfect choice! We loved our stay

This is a very cool trailer in a very cool spot. Perfect for exploring Palisade and the river. The neighborhood is quiet and the farm atmosphere totally sets it apart. The trailer is perfectly remodeled, functional, and clean. The fridge is roomy and the water pressure and heat are excellent. Beds are comfy with really nice soft linens. The bluetooth speaker is a nice touch. The patio for grilling and outdoor dining is nice. The lights make a great atmosphere and the grill works perfectly. We sat outside and ate under the lights with the music coming out of the trailer and were totally relaxed. Jessica and her family were great hosts and very responsive. My son and I were honored to be the first guests and we would love to come back!

We are frequent Air BNB-ers with many different stays under our belts and I have to say, this is one of the best we have stayed in so far. Hosts Leigh and Brandon clearly poured so much love into the place. We spent over 30 minutes just looking at all of the unique touches and reading their book on how the place came to be. The place is sparkling clean and has everything you could need. Do not hesistate to book if you are looking for a clean, safe, respectful environment. Good vibes all around!

Lily Hill Loft is a unique space with all the amenities of home. Love the creative touches like the antique lights, comfortable bed, and cozy feeling. A great place to stop and rest when traveling through Grand Junction - thank you Leigh and I hope that you and Brandon can come visit with us at The Little Goat House in Sookane, sometime!

Susan has a keen eye for detail and gave me a brief tour so I knew right away how everything worked and how to access what I needed. Very rarely do I find a bed as comfy as the one at home! You can enjoy the privacy of your own room and/or hanging out with some of the other Air B n B folks in this large, stately, super clean home.

Nice, clean and spacious and quiet which is what I really appreciate. Location is close to a local grocery store and plenty of places to eat near by. Zero complain.

Friendly and accommodating host! Great farmhouse from the late 1800s updated with modern features. Fridge, microwave and coffee pot and dining room just for guests, with all the dishes and utensils needed. Guests had a nice parlor with large screen TV. Apples off the trees in back were yummy. Quiet, comfortable and convenient to everything. Looking forward to staying there again.

Location was perfect as we wanted to be close to CMU. Liked that we had underground, gated parking. Outside building needs some updating but inside has been newly done.

I hate to say it because it's such a great secret spot, but it's one of the best AirBnB locations ever. Penny is super cool and the area is gorgeous.
