The house is very well located, close to shops and restaurants. Andrea gave great tips on where to go and eat. We went by cable car to Cidade Alta on the way back we walked and when we saw we were on the side of the house. Bergamo is a beautiful city!

They stayed with Andrea for the second time - they liked authenticity, the breath of antiquity, a responsive and mobile host, the ability to communicate with neighbors from other countries. Here everyone has their own room, and the kitchen and bathrooms are shared. True, in January there were much fewer neighbors than in October. Great stay at Andreas place. Very old and basic building and room but loads of character! Feels like staying in a hostel but with a private room. Andrea was very helpful with everything and answered questions very promptly. It is in the lower part of town but everything is definitely walking distance. Would stay again.

Very beautiful apartment with a good location, not on a noisy street, self-arrival, which is often a huge plus, the only thing is that it’s cool to sleep there, the air conditioning can’t cope with heating, and the apartment quickly cools through large windows, but the windows are very beautiful! :)

Had a great one night stay at Daniele's. She was kind enough to let us leave our luggage early (something I always appreciate) and check in and check out is super easy with the lockbox. It was quiet, bed was comfortable, shower was hot!

Easy to find with Alessandro´s helpful way descriptions! The room is spacious and I really appreciate the idea of providing the guests with the kettle, some tea and coffee. It´s definitely worth the money! I would return at least once again.

We loved Pier's little loft in Bergamo. It is small but perfect for a couple of days. Bergamo is such a cool place to visit and Pier's house is located in the center of the town.

A small but beautiful apartment, very good location in the heart of Citta Alta. The only thing we can complain is the lack of hot water for 2 people and no towels.

What a great location! I arrived at the train station and, according to Pier’s suggestion, took a city bus to Citta Alta and got off at the last stop. Finding the apartment was an easy 5 minute walk downhill. I was very close to restaurants and shops and all the historical attractions. Also near Marianna’s which was a great place to start the day with coffee and croissants and people watching! Practically next door is the funicular San Vigilio which takes you up to a stunning view of the Citta at sunset. I went there every day. The apartment itself is compact, but has everything you need. There is no WiFi, but Bergamo has WiFi free areas all over town. I just used my personal hotspot and that was sufficient. Plus, all the restaurants have WiFi, so sit and relax, sip your wine and get Italian! The apartment is also an ecological electrical house. It’s in a really old building, so the electricity can be sensitive....don’t be turning everything on! I found I could leave the crook neck lamp over the sofa, the hot water for tea, and my charging stations on with no problem. What more did I need? Be judicious with the hot water....no lingering in the shower. But these are just minor inconveniences when compared to the location of the apartment and the graciousness of its host who was kind and very responsive to communication. Great experience!

The apartment is conveniently located in the heart of Bergamo, Città Alta. It was clean, cozy, easy to reach from the bus stop, and close to the main piazza. Pier Luigi provided helpful instructions and all of the amenities that we needed. He was quick to respond to any questions.

I liked everything very much, the owner very sociable wrote in advance, explained how to get there, gave tips, where to go and how to spend time. The apartment is comfortable, for two it’s perfect, excellent location. The only negative, but it is typical for the whole of Italy, probably, the lack of sound insulation, you can hear what is happening on the street and in the entrance. Therefore, I advise you to take ear plugs with you if you are sensitively sleeping. And so everything was super, thanks Pierre!

The place is very cute and clean, I love the common garden outside. The host has been very helpful to let us check in early and introduced the place to us. The location is perfect, you can take bus number 1 to travel between the airport to città alta.

This apartment is very stylish and clean in a beautiful gated courtyard. It is in the perfect location close to the airport, bus station and restaurants, shops and bars etc. Hosts are helpful and very easy to communicate with for questions and recommendations. Would highly recommend this apartment for a short break in a beautiful and interesting historic town. The perfect weekend get away!

Had a nice time in Marcella's flat.  We had a little difficulty arriving since both Google and Airbnb have location incorrect on their map but she well send you a hand-drawn map so all was good eventually.  The area was very nice on a quiet street with plenty of grocery, dining and shopping options.  15 min walk from train - close to Citta Alta - overall a very central place.  Her flat was beautiful and had everything we needed.  Check in was no problem.  She does not live on-site (at least when we were there) but she communicates easily.  There are 3 separate bedrooms (shared bathroom) in flat and each can rent out.  Each room.has a separate lock for security.  Highly recommend and would stay again.

Enrico's place is truly amazing. It is bigger than it looks and it's really in the perfect spot. Right by the bus from the airport, near the shopping area, with a straight road to città Alta. Absolutely clean, stylish, with lovely little touches, like coffee and sparkling wine.

The place is gorgeous and my stay there was amazing! Ettore is a fantastic person and host. He met me in person, showed the apartment, shared interesting information about the place and city, provided great recommendations of the most interesting places in Bergamo the same as restaurants in this area. He also supported me with the map of the city which was created by him in cooperation with some travellers where are shown interesting places in the city that can be hidden from a first glance, but you won't miss them with this map. The apartment is cozy, stylish and unique because it keep the sense of the history of the house despite the fact that everything is well equipped and has a modern renovation. The windows looks to the courtyard where you can feel an uniqueness of everyday life of this house. It is very special place! Ettore as a host pay a lot of attention to his guests comfort, accurate to the details, responsive and attentive. He also prepared for me an yummy breakfast to make my morning wonderful! :)) The Bergamo itself is a beautiful place to visit. It is a remarkable architecture there, style and atmosphere, amazing restaurants and cuisine. Definitely, I would come back there one day with pleasure to stay at Ettore place! Very clean and organized place. The room is exactly what you see in the pictures. Extremely interestingly designed. The room was warm when I got back at night and the bed was amazingly comfortable. Almost maniacal cleanliness and attention to detail worthy of a real hotel, very central position with respect to the main services and the city center, well connected by means of transport and / or on foot with all the possible tourist interests and not of the city. The super abundant breakfast, varied and with fresh and genuine products. The guest house has all the essential and above all "extra" comforts that are difficult to find in these categories of stays. Finally Simone is a super-present guy, available, prepared, attentive to the smallest details and ready to satisfy the guest's requests to make him feel as if he were at home. Super recommended!

This is my second time visitng Simone’s place and I’ll visit it whenever I’m back in Italy. It’s near by the airport by foot (40 min of walking for people who does not have a problem to walk) or with a bus (it’s not available early in the morning). The center of the city is by 15 min by foot and the old city 30. I was in Bergamo for two days, after a few days in Milano. The place is okay for one or many nights stay. Simone is cool and kind, quickly response to all my questions all the time. I recommend it.

Liala was a kind and thoughtful host, responding quickly to my questions and helping me get to the airport in the morning. The apartment was easy to get to on the bus and within walking distance of carrefour.

Liala’s place was very comfortable and clean with nice touches, but what really made the stay special was her incredible hospitality. She offered to pick me up from the airport for a very small fee but I had phone troubles and was unable to contact her. She was patient throughout the process, even when I arrived much later than expected. Overall an amazing stay.

We had a very nice stay in Bergamo in this flat. It is very well located (near città alta, but still close to the train station and to very good restaurants that apply cheaper prices that in the upper town). The family is very kind and we felt very welcomed. The only problem that we encountered was the WiFi that suffered a technical problem and was off for a couple days. Appart from that everything was great and we recommend this place to anyone wanting to visit Bergamo!

The apartments are located well, close to attractions, a stop at the airport in the historical district. The apartment is saturated with authentic antiquity, but at the same time has not lost convenience. That is what I wanted in Bergamo. We arrived late, the owner greeted him kindly, it was nice. Clean, everything you need is there. The floor is stone, but we were ready to take slippers. I recommend it if you like the feeling that you live in a museum)

Marta's communication has been fluid and close at all times. He could not receive us personally, but we were delighted with his friend Sidorela, a very nice girl who answered all our doubts. The apartment is very cozy and the bed is very comfortable. In addition, the temperature was super nice inside the floor although to put a small paste, the shower water was quite cold for our taste. A good location and a very beautiful city. We would repeat without a doubt!

Very cozy apartment. Felt like home the second we steped in there. Spacious kitchen, clean bathroom and enough space for clothes in the closet. Great accommodation in a great location! You can walk to everything and the old town is just adorable. Only the double bed is less than 1.40 m. Cuddling is the order of the day. Otherwise the equipment is great

Located in the old city, only 5 minutes away from the funicular. I highly recommend the apartment, the check-in is easy and you will receive more than you're expectations. Purity was perfect and you have all the needed things for your stay.

Beautiful, stylish, artistic interior. The tenement house has art studios, sculptures and flowers are set up in the corridor. Very cute. Clean, place equipped with everything needed. I would highly recommend!

The flat was as described and we definitely recommend! The decoration is amazing, very unusual experience that we enjoyed a lot! The street behind is a bit loud, but we knew it from other comments. Location was also very good!

A really nice and cosy place in the heart of Bergamo. We were really overwhelmed by the interior and authentic decorations.Andrea has been always in touch with us even when our flight was postponed and we arrived late at night. In spite of the check-out we had a chance to leave our luggage free of charge.

Mrs Massara is a nice person and his hospitality was better then I expanded so I really recommend this place. More than that the location is great and the Citadel is really close. The flat has a beautiful Italian atmosphere.

This place is absolutely perfect! The bed was very comfortable, kitchen was really beautiful and included everything we needed. The flat was cozy, well-furnished and has everything you need and much more. The place is quiet and there are some shops, restaurants and cafés near here. Paola is really kind, nice and communicative. I warmly recommend this apartment!

Simone was a great host. although we didnt see him, the self check in and checkout experience was super easy. The place was comfortable and in a quiet area. only the bells of the nearby church which rang every 30 mins starting from 7:30 were somehow disturbing. The water in the bathroom and shower was very good, heating was excellent. We were 3 people and asked for more towels and he brought us in the morning. Though here are some advices to Simone to improve the place: 1. please add a teapot in the kitchen to make tea) 2. fix the light in the small bedroom 3. clean the rooms better 4. put some comfortable pillows in the big bedroom, they were very flat and hard I’m giving him five stars because he let us to stay 3 hours longer as our bus was later in the afternoon. Simone had a great music collection and games to play. A good place to stay for 2-3 days.

The first night was cold cos I just arrived, and needed to turn on heaters on max! And the second day after was fine! Blankets looked frazzled..was not pleasant to use it...I got unlucky to get to Bergamo on Xmas eve: everything around was closed, was no buses! had to walk to downtown (25 min) to find something to eat, just for people to be ready if you will be traveling xmas time next year! The church wakes you up, no alarm needed at all) it was fine to stay there for the couple of nights)thank you for the explanation how to get a key! It was really easy to use photos of the box and door)

Great! All much better than I expected: location, price, cleanliness, responsiveness. I had a problem with my time and ended up delaying check in, yet everything was in great condition and Marcella was excellent at welcoming me. The apartment is very large with excellent common spaces. It is also extremely well located, close to everything and at the foot of the upper city. Highly recommend to all!

The one bedroom apartment is very spacious and was very clean. Checking in is simple. I can also recommend the pizzeria in the house next door. Airplanes can be heard in the evening and early in the morning, but it was predictable. You can walk to the airport in 25 minutes. I recommend it to anyone who wants to take an early flight.

Marcella and her husband were super friendly and accommodating! During check-in, Marcella's husband took the time to show us around the apartment to ensure we knew how to make everything work. He was nice and paid a lot of attention to our needs and even had a map ready for us! The apartment is absolutely new and spotless clean. Full of amenities like iron, coffee machine, kettle and all you need for a comfortable stay. It is perfectly located within 5 min walk to the train station and a 10/15 min walk to Cittá Alta. Super convenient! I would definitely go back again any time! RECOMMENDED!

This apartment has been renovated recently. Bath, kitchen and all furniture are new and everything works very well. Located very close to the train station, it is very easy to reach. It is also close to the bus station and the stop of the airport bus. But the best feature is how welcoming and ready to assist their guests the owners are. Marcella and Rod were very good communicating with us and the latter went the extra mile in solving a couple of problems we had with our luggage and additional accommodation needed for our return in Bergamo. My wife, daughter and I had a very good stay and thank Marcella and Ros for their valuable assistance. See you next time!

We had a great stay here! My Mum and I stayed for 3 nights, and it was ideal for us. Very clean and spacious, and nicely decorated with everything you need. It was very convenient for both parts of the city; it was an easy walk to shops and restaurants (though some might find hilly). We were able to easily arrange transfers as well as drop our bags off early, which was appreciated. Thank you!

Carlo's flat was a great place to stay the night. It is located in central Bergamo and is close to stores and public transportation. The flat was clean and worked for four people.

Good location, check-in and check-out on your own (so no need to fix on time). Good equipment, big apartment. Unfortunately bed wasn´t ready and in the bathroom where some clean towels, but mixed with dirty one. But we managed everything, so in total, I would recomend this place. :-)

The flight was delayed, but the owner was waiting for us and was in touch at one in the morning.

Fantastic apartment - spacious with lovely old features. Clean and very comfortable situated about a 10 minute walk into the heart of the old town. Graziano was really helpful and prompt with responses - made us feel really welcome. The only slight downside was the bells ringing from the church across the road and 7:30 each morning. They don’t last long though so wasn’t too bad. On the whole I would highly recommend Bergamo and Graziano’s place!
