I’ve stayed in this lovely property before. It’s very clean, comfortable and peaceful. Rosie is a lovely host and the amenities are great.

When I left today, I was a little bit reluctant. Rosie's accommodation was very warm and warm. My daughter and I loved a variety of cereal breakfast, milk, juice, bread! And delicious jams of every taste! Everything! Rosie has a large garden, cute 2 dogs, my daughter will run around the garden with the dog. During the stay, Rosie gave us a lot of help and made us feel at home in a foreign country. Thank you very much Rosie! Next time you come to the UK, you will definitely come to see you! love you!

Great place for a weekend away. Self-contained accommodation, with fantastic views of the surrounding countryside - as well as large comfy bed, sparkling clean shower room and breakfast provisions provided. Lots of lovely touches, such as fresh flowers in the room. Warm welcome from our hosts. Highly recommend.

Rosie and her loft are absolutely delightful! We were welcomed in the rain with offers to assist with luggage, only to discover homemade cake and a number of special touches to make us feel welcome. Once the rain cleared, we enjoyed walking around her property's beautifully landscaped gardens, which includes Sussex's majestic oldest cedar. What is so incredible about this peaceful country retreat is its close proximity not only to pubs & beautiful scenery, but to Gatwick airport. I can't imagine a more pleasant place to stay before a trip, and will certainly be bookmarking Rosie's place for future trips.

Fantastic host and a beautiful room

The place was absolutly fantastic for a needed weekend away,on arriving 2 pieces of cake were left out for us,my wife missed out as it was to nice to share🤗. There was so many little touches that were great,we used rosies helpful hints and ordered a cab from the station to the bothy,there were old school games to play?suround sound,a projector,every tea and coffe possible,hot choclate,milk,orange juice,breakfast cereals,toast,pancakes,jam,marmite,a microwave,the list go's on,the bed was so comfy i slept so well it there i did not want to leave and wish i could of been given a.job as chief bed tester at the bothy. I stayed for a while at Grey Cottage and it’s a lovely place in a good location. Angie and Richard were very helpful and I would recommend their accommodation to anyone.

we were so confortable at the little cozy cottage. It also has amazing surroundings to go for a walk. Angie is a great host, she was there to welcome me and left privacy for the remaining of the stay, being always available in case of need. Very recomendable for 3 people weekend stay.

What a little gem, in the beautiful Sussex countryside. A very comfortable cottage with its own garden & an added bonus of a log fire for the cold evenings. Will mention stairs to the 1 bedroom are on the steep side for those with mobility probs. Otherwise a cosy, very clean, well equipped & especially comfortable cottage. Ed is there if you need any help. But we liked it as were left to let ourselves in to discover & were able to relax. Thank you! We'd love to visit again!!

The cottage is cosy, very clean, authentic and modern at the same time! The fireplace made the experience even better! It was a pleasure to stay there and we highly recommend it! Ed was very welcoming and approachable! PS Ardingly cafe is 2mins walk from the cottage - a nice place for breakfast!

Such a pretty little cottage; a cosy home away from home with everything you could need.

A really quaint cottage in a perfect location. Close to pub, an excellent Chinese takeaway, bakery and post office selling essentials. The bed is super comfortable. Parking is on road but we found a space easily and there’s a free car park nearby if you prefer. Some low doors so watch your head. Bring milk and other essentials or go to post office. Great communication from host. Overall we loved it.

A lovely cottage, that feels like home from home. Walking distance to pubs, a bakery and shops. Real fire is a real treat in colder months. Lovely for a weekend break, that’s super close to Gatwick, Brighton and London. Highly recommend.

Great little place. Very stylish design and has everything you will need. I was looking for somewhere near Gatwick as I was leaving in the morning. Had a good search and narrowed it down to three and chose this one. I did not regret it. Steve’s a very nice bloke too, went out of his way for me. :)

My stay at Joanna’s was lovely! I had just started a new job in the area and needed somewhere to stay while waiting for my own place to be ready, and Joanna’s home was perfect. Good location, lovely house, and great hospitality. I had access to everything I needed, and the freedom to go in and out as I pleased. Joanna was very friendly and I really enjoyed chatting to her and other guests of an evening over dinner or just about the house. I felt very welcome and very much at home. Travelling alone I was a little nervous but I felt safe and comfortable in Joanna’s house. The room was cosy, had what I needed for the few nights I was there, and it was the perfect space to relax in before sleeping. I’d happily stay with Joanna again and would definitely recommend her home. :)

What a find! Beautiful location and the views are magnificent. Accommodation is very comfortable, but still keeps the character of a Hayloft. Definitely one I would recommend.

The Hayloft was a great place for us to unwind after Christmas. It’s surrounded by some truly stunning countryside that we explored everyday with our small dog, who was most welcome by Tara. Walks around the reservoir and through Kew Wakehurst are easily accessible from near the property and the views across the valley from the kitchen are just amazing. We’ll definitely be back in the future!!

A wonderful place. I was in awe most of the time taking in the little touches, it felt like everything was precise to meticulous detail in aesthetic, yet it was so relaxed too. The best part was waiting for the dawn to come round, to take in that sunrise amongst acres of uninhabited land. It feels like it's just you and nature! It's lovely to see the birds in the garden who seem very happy here. Perfect getaway for reflection and quiet. Thanks for making this little piece of bliss available to travellers!

Sam and Bob have been amazing hosts during our stay. They were extremely kind, caring and friendly. Their house is clean and cosy, and very close to Crawly town centre which is very handy. We would definitely recommend for anyone who comes in the area to stay with them.

Sam’s place is beautiful and beautifully located. They are wonderful hosts and their home is warm and welcoming.

Sam’s place is adorable! The garden and park right next door are beautiful and a great place for a walk! Check-in and finding the house was very easy, Sam provided great instructions. Not to far outside of London or Brighton, it was very easy to catch a train to both places.

Sam is always available for anything you might need and you can contact him any time with a simple message. The apartment is also as described with a very good equipped kitchen, excellent wi-fi connection and all you need for a comfortable stay. Parking is also not a problem. I recommend this place also as it is a good base if you want to visit the surrounding towns and villages like Brighton, Hastings, The Seven sisters Nature Park, and also London with a good train connection from Crawley. It is also a good base if you like trekking with several trekking routes in the region. Thank you Sam.

A brilliant little place to stay. Very comfortable, well equipped kitchen and the open fire makes it really special. Everything you need for cosy nights in, but a decent pub a short walk away too. Lots of nice walking nearby. Neither of us had signal in the area, but the flat has great WiFi and a smart TV with access to Netflix and BBC iPlayer. Sam was a brilliant host, quick to respond and very friendly. Would definitely recommend, hope to go back there myself!

I stayed here for 2 months for a work placement and it was perfect! Had my own space to come home and relax after working, the room is lovely and warm with a beautiful private bathroom. Great stay, very homely, and in particular a lovely bathroom. Good location in Haywards Heath, you can walk to the town centre in South Road in about 5 mts and the station in 10-15 mts cutting across Victoria Park. Expect to be back in 2020.

My wife and I attended a function in nearby Lindfield, and Joanne's is not only in a great location, but having en suite bathroom was really convenient. Nice and friendly and highly recommended.

A delightful room under the eaves with its own splendid bathroom. Plenty of space, selection of good books to read and games to play, TV. Extremely peaceful and a lovely atmosphere home. I slept like a log!

I highly recommend staying with Joanna. The room is so lovely. Warm, private, cosy, bigger than expected and I had the best sleeps ever - comfy bed! It felt very luxurious having my own bathroom too. Everyone was really friendly and helpful. It was easy to find and access to local restaurants, supermarkets etc was super easy. I would stay here again in an instant!

Anna and Oliver were amazing hosts. They are a very kind and thoughtful couple. We had a great time sharing our stories about all the travels. They offered to give me a lift from work one evening when the weather was bad. There is also some light breakfast every morning which is very thoughtful. This is probably one of the best Airbnb’s I have ever stayed at. I would definitely recommend staying at their place.

We had a great time staying at Anna and Oliver's flat. It is modern, very clean and very well equipped. We loved the little touches, such as chocolates to greet us. It was easy to check in. The bedroom was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. Unfortunately we were busy, so we didn't meet Anna and Oliver until we were about to leave. We would highly recommend staying here and we hope to come back next time we are in the area.

Staying at Oliver and Anna’s Air b&b was our first experience of Air b&b and we didn’t regret it. The only slight problem we had was finding the address due to a road being closed. When we arrived, we knew Oliver and Anna were going to be out but they had left clear instructions including photos of how to get the keys and how to get into the flat. We entered the flat and found our room which was very nicely decorated and very clean. My husband was pleased to see a lovely touch that chocolate has been left on the bedside which he promptly ate !!! Included with the room is a very clean bathroom which is just across the hall. Towels were also provided. We had a good nights sleep, the bed was very comfy. The area is nice and quiet apart from the odd hoot from a passing owl which was nice. We didn’t meet Oliver and Anna until the morning, they were on their way out but made time for a chat. They are a lovely couple and made us feel very welcome. Anna had left out cereal and or toast and tea / coffee for breakfast which is all we would have at home anyway. Thanks to Oliver and Anna our first experience of Air b&b was very pleasant and their home is lovely. Julie and Chris Cox

Dee and Bill were both so friendly, fantastic hosts and a gorgeous little place in such a lovely area, there were even little hand drawn maps to help us find walks!

We absolutely loved our weekend retreat at Dee and Bill's place. If there is anything wrong with the listing it's only that it is even cosier than it looks! We were looking for somewhere to get away from the hustle and bustle of life for a few days, to switch off and recharge, and found exactly that and more. We loved spending our evenings by the fantastic fire and waking up to nothing but birdsong. We spent quite some time identifying various birds from their calls - day and night - from the conservatory. So incredibly peaceful and idyllic. You really are tucked away in the woods. We enjoyed some lovely muddy walks and it only took 20 minutes or so to walk into the village for supplies and local refreshment! But when at the house you really do feel much further away than that. Dee and Bill were really welcoming hosts and made the place lovely and warm and cosy for our late arrival. (Thank you!). We will definitely return in the summer (and spring, and autumn, and perhaps winter again if we can!...). It was just perfect.

This lovely cottage is in a great location where you can enjoy perfect peacefulness, calm and tranquility. You can hear the wonderful birdsong all around, the lovely wood burner inside and the beautiful conservatory where you can sit and enjoy the beauty all around you. You can go walking in amazing countryside and enjoy the rustic charm of a quirky but perfect cottage and setting. I thoroughly enjoyed every moment of my stay. Also the hosts were delightful and very helpful. Thank you both for providing me with a perfect, stress free break away from the challenges of a very busy life. I needed to unwind and that was exactly what I did. My family and friends visiting loved it too. I will be back.

There isn’t a more apt description for this place than “magical woodland hideaway”. One could add words like warm and cosy, genuinely friendly and welcoming, great location, dog-friendly, tranquil and picturesque ... but the moment you arrive, meet Dee & Bill and then see the place, more words become superfluous. We had a wonderful stay though too short and would love to come back for more!

Me and my boyfriend had a wonderful evening and night at the place. It was very cosy and had everything we needed. All info was very clear and everything was very clean.

Accommodation is nice and clean. Hostess is often reachable, sometimes you have to wait for answers something, which is not bad now.

Wonderful little cabin. Beautifully decorated. Very comfortable spacious bed. Lots of extra touches and everything you need for a lovely stay - my visit was short but delightful and peaceful, would have loved to stay longer and make the most of the space and the area. The only downside is that I happened to stay during stormy weather, which made for a noisy night and the road is a little closer than I expected, but otherwise it was so tranquil and just exactly what I needed. It was especially lovely looking out at the neighbouring farm, having the fire and a pot of tea on the go. Gorgeous breakfast with lots of options. Got lots of writing and reading done too. Jo and Daniel were very accommodating and attentive to details. Great hosts! All round lovely air bnb, would stay again.

The nicest Airbnb that we have ever stayed in. Jo and Daniel are the most amazing hosts, we arrived to homemade brownies as well as breakfast items and a lovely warm cabin. Jo was available to answer any questions and there was lots of information about the local area available. We had a wonderful meal at the nearby gardeners arms and a wonderful stay. We can’t wait to return and can’t recommend enough. The cabin was sparkling clean and had everything we could need and more.

A brilliant stay. From homemade brownies to champagne in the fridge following NYE, everything was provided. Cute interiors, outdoor seating overlooking the farm complete with sheep, goats and dogs running around providing constant entertainment. A brilliant weekend and a fine host to boot. What a perfect haven of cosiness and style! The cabin was the most wonderful place to hunker down with the woodburner and all the lovely extras - warm brownies on arrival and a bottle of prosecco to see in the new year! Jo was discrete but in touch in case we needed anything. Lovely walks nearby and owls at night. Very comfy bed and perfectly judged amenities. We will definitely return.

We thoroughly enjoyed our trip to Megan's place. It was a wonderful hideaway from the stresses of life, situated in the middle of the countryside. The annexe was very cosy and we found ourselves instantly relaxed. Really recommend this little gem.

I only stayed for one night as attending a work reunion in a local pub. Communication was great and the sat nav took me straight to the annexe gate, easy to find even in the dark. Megan was amazing, offering to drop me off at the local pub...very kind of her and much appreciated! I was worried it may be cold in the annexe but the heating was very efficient and I had a great nights sleep. Would definitely recommend, clean, comfortable and great value.

Michaela was a great host! I only stayed one night after a very long day travelling - I slept like a log! The house was so quiet and the bed was comfortable and the bathtroom facilities were faultless.

Nice place and lovely people, just a bit tricky with regards to the location.

The photos are very accurate and the house is perfect for those who are catching a flight at Gatwick Airport. I had an unexpected cancelled flight and had to book with Michaela last minute, but she was very friendly and checked us in without any difficulty. Response rate is fast and found everything I needed in the room. Could be a little cold at night, but layering should help. Her house is ~10 min walk to the bus and it's a 30 min bus ride to Gatwick. The room is located upstairs, so if you're uncomfortable hauling your luggage up the winding stairs, it might not be convenient for you. Otherwise, her house rules are clear and everything was clean and organized.

Staying at Philip and Zilla’s is always easy, restful and a calm haven. The flat is lovely and the surroundings peaceful and beautiful. They are easy to communicate with, flexible and thoughtful. I would definitely recommend it especially if you have pets. My dogs love to sit by the window and watch for squirrels and other wildlife. There are lovely walks close by too.

If you have high standards then this is the place for you! Well equipped with luxurious towels and bedding. There was washing up liquid, washing powder and dishwasher tablets with plenty of tea towels and dish cloths (no need to bring your own). Situated in a very quiet spot but close to Horsham and Crawley for the shops. We only did one walk on the roads but it was very pleasant and saw some lovely houses. Would highly recommend this place.

David and Fong were lovely hosts, and their place was perfect. It was private without being isolating and spacious, with some very thoughtful touches like tea on the counter and milk in the fridge. It was a convenient location while I was working in Crawley and comfortable enough to feel like home while out on the road. I would absolutely stay with them again.

David was a great host, and truth be told I rarely saw him or his wife. Used his accommodation as I'm new to the area and currently working Monday to Friday. The property description was spot on with easy bus links for throughout Crawley. Thoroughly enjoyed my peaceful week.

David was a lovely host! We stayed with him for a quick night before catching an early flight at Gatwick. His accommodation is extremely close to Crawley station as well making it very convenient for travelling. Would definitely recommend this place for his hospitality, location, and value!

David and his wife are two very welcoming hosts, really nice and mindful, and the accommodation is quite nice. Big comfy bedroom, private bathroom and kitchen area for your own use. So a great place to be independent but still feel welcome and meet really nice people.

Very fast responses. I came a few hours later than we initially agreed and David was very kind and accommodating. The room is spacious and the bed comfortable. Everything was sparkling clean. The house is in a quiet street a 15 minute easy walk from Crawley train station which is only 9 minutes from Gatwick airport. Only thing to improve is to no longer use perfumed product for washing/drying bed linen and towels.

I had an excellent stay. The property was modern, clean and had everything you needed. It was was in the ideal location for my project work for Virgin Atlantic - at Manor Royal 5 minute walk away, which was convenient. Matt also provided excellent communication throughout. I will be staying when I'm next in the area.

What an amazing property and host. We spent two really relaxing and comfortable nights here while visiting friends. The Stables is warm, stylish and contemporary with lovely additional touches such as high end toiletries, a welcome pack of essentials, numerous warm fluffy towels, a fabulous shower and cosy bedding. The location, if a little tricky to find at first, is perfect for the area and for an easy stroll to the Cuckfield itself and its lovely pubs. It is spotlessly clean and wonderfully quiet with good wifi and loads of outside space and seating. Beatrix is the perfect host, met us on arrival, went through all we needed to know and provided really clear contact details for us. The whole weekend was so perfect, we didnt need to take her up on anythinhg else and were really sorty to leave. Taxis were able to find us and drop us off as necessary and there is parking right next to the building. It really was great and I am so pleased with our find. Thank you Beatrix!

We had a great stay in Carolyn & Gordon's cottage. They are very friendly and accommodating, they even lent us some toys for our children. The cottage has everything you need for a comfortable stay and is in a great location for exploring the local area.

This home was perfect for my husband and I and our adult son. It is a very comfortable home and Carolyn has added some very welcoming touches for our arrival. A bonus for my husband was that we were able to walk to the local pub in under 5 minutes. We would stay here again next time we are in the area.

This is a little piece of paradise. We absolutely did not want to leave :) Beautiful from the inside and out, a perfect cosy cottage hideaway with all the comforts you need - kitchen with washing machine and dishwasher; lounge with netflix and a log-fire; gorgeous master bedroom with ensuite and comfy spare sofa bed and downstairs loo. The village is picture postcard quaint and simply walking through the gardens of the cottage is delightful. Carolyn and Gordon are such lovely hosts and so helpful too - there was a problem with the oven and they fixed it without any stress even though it was the weekend. They left so many nice touches like croissants and jam, milk, cooking oils and sauces. Things like that make a big difference to a trip and were much appreciated. We really enjoyed our time cooking, relaxing and drinking wine during a rainy January, and would recommend this Air bnb to anyone. Although we really would want to keep it to ourselves!

Perfect for 2 couples. Everyone loved there stay, plenty of space but cozy cottage feel with a great wood burner, all amenities covered. 5 min walk to a beautiful 16th century pub (the cat) would definitely stay again, a hidden gem.

Beautiful cottage is a stunning area, we were made to feel extremely welcome. The cottage has a log burner which is a bonus especially in the winter. Really good space, we felt so comfortable here. Dog friendly aswel which was amazing so we could bring along our dog. Would highly recommend and would love to return here in the future!

We loved our stay over New Year’s Eve. It exceeded our expectations, was peaceful and secluded away from life’s hustle and bustle. Check in instructions were very good and Carolyn met us to show us in (with dog strokes included). The cottage is very comfy with comfy sofa and very soft bed. The kitchen has everything you need with an extra home from home feel. Amazon fire stick with the TV was great too. The garden is very secure if you have a dog too. Lots of nice touches and unique cottage indeed, really good value. Thanks.

David's place is a real gem. We found it to have all the amenities to make us feel at home and wish we could have stayed longer. Despite being right next to the rail line and the street you barely hear either. The next time we're in the area this place will be one of the first that we check the availability of.

The place is located in a quite area - not far from Crawley's town centre yet is within a stone's throw of nature , where one can get lost for hours! It was such a joy walking through Tilgate forest, Nymnas and beyond. Peter is friendly/accommodating chap. The house is modern and all is in good working order. Thank you & All the best :)

My stay Peter's place was great. The bedroom was spacious and warm and the private bathroom was sparkling clean. I was free to use the kitchen facilities and Peter is great for a natter. I felt very privileged to return one evening and find the Christmas lights adorning the house! Would happily return and recommend.

The Hut was clean, well equipped and in a good location to be both remote and surrounded by the sounds and sights of a rural location yet not too far from facilities in Ardingly, was good all round and Sue was a great host! Steam train from Horsted Keynes Station worth a visit.

It’s lush! So quiet, relaxing and peaceful. It was only an hour from home, but felt like I was miles away! Perfect garden for small dogs. Host was brilliant. We will definitely be returning next summer!

A stunning shepherds hut, so well thought out as a space. We really enjoyed our time here. We hiked through the woods to the bluebell vineyard for a tour and tasting, loved the plaw hatch farm shop and found the outdoor kitchen perfect for autumnal stews. An excellent break.

We had such a lovely time! We only wish that we could have stayed much longer. Sue was very forgiving and accommodating with our Friday evening traffic issues on our trek from Cornwall to Forest Row. It would be easy to stay here all week and just venture out for walks and supplies to Tablehurst and Plaw Hutch. Whilst we were here, we had work to do but it was lovely all the same. Highly recommend.
