A modern townhouse situated 100m from the white sand and blue water of Aspendale beach. Your stay will be on the ground floor in a double bedroom with a separate private TV lounge and private bathroom. Your host is on the 1st floor, giving you plenty of privacy. While there are no kitchen facilities, there are nice cafes within a 1 min walk and the with the train station right across the road, Mordialloc's bars and restaurants are only 1 stop away. Free street parking.
You have the ground floor to yourself! You have a double bedroom with a queen sized bed. The mattress and pillows are very good quality so you’re sure to get a good nights sleep. You also have your own modern shower room and comfortable tv lounge. There are *no cooking facilities*, but there are plenty of good breakfast, lunch and dinner dining options close by in Aspendale and plenty more just up the road in Mordialloc.
Aspendale is one of many quiet beach side suburbs down this way. The beach is clean and stretches for miles. The sea is perfect for swimming, with shallow waters and gentle waves. Aspendale has several good cafes and shops while Mordialloc, a 2 km walk up the beach or one stop on the train, has many bars, cafes, restaurants, shops and supermarkets.
  • I had such a great stay at Jason’s place. It’s exactly as described and super clean! Within 50 steps of the beach and close to great restaurants and a little super market. It was very quiet and relaxing. I would definitely stay here again!

  • Jason's space is awesome. You get your own private space with complete amenities. Plus it's close to everything! The beach, the shopping centres, restaurants and coffee shops! It's also just a stone's throw away from the train station so you can go anywhere from Jason's accommodation. So convenient! I highly recommend this place when you need somewhere to stay in or around Aspendale. :)

When you pay only dozens of bucks, you get the most cost efficient choice of the area. PLUS: there's NO shopping center near by, what u can reach by walking are: 1 min to servo(BP) 10 mins to Sandown Park Station 10 mins to McDonald's & Burden Park 13 mins to Coles & 7/11 30 mins to Springvale Shopping Center/Market 1 hour driving to melbourne airport.

    Bright, recently repainted in light colours, clean, quiet, homely, relaxed, smart large TV, the listing here 'suggests' cheap but I'm new and keen to get some high Stars !! . I have another double room on here so if you need more rooms check it out. Thank you. People come and go...Please note , there is ONE double bed in this room, not 2 beds, lockbox for entry.... thanks
    I actually have 2 toilets, nice outside sitting veranda, shower is shared... there is 2 "sleepable" couches if you need to save cash. If keen to have another 'double' I can juggle a double bed room and or caravan.... pls check first. I have another Airbnb room so often there are other people around. Ty
    a quiet clean beach, hotel, small block of shops including IGA, a bus stop all within 5 mins casual walk, train is 20 mins walk although I could pick you up if required from (URL HIDDEN) is 50 mins on train to CBD. Its an 8 min drive to Frankston-10 mins on train, the local hub with movies and large shopping complex, 4 mins to long walking track along Kannanook Creek, its close to wetlands....approx 1 hr 20 minutes to airport, you can use Skybus to get here (about$32) their local depot stop is 8 minutes away, Airport shuttle to Airport is $19 after train ride from here costing $8.00

  • The house was beautiful and the room/bed were very comfortable, with lots of thoughtful touches. The neighborhood is also very nice and the 10-15 minute walk to the beach is really pleasant. But the best thing about this place is the host and the people in the house. We truly felt like home and our host was absolutely fantastic: good tips on the area, didn't hesitate to get out of her way to help us out, very understanding, fun to talk to and overall just extremely kind.   • Karenn was the best host I’ve ever had. She’s very kind, friendly and always helpful. Her house is wonderful, very spacious and stylish. She is very kind to check on the room heater and had it replace for a better ones. The room for two is really spacious enough for two people with lots of luggage. There are two bathrooms in the house (one is with a washing machine and dryer you can use), country style kitchen with all the appliances. Nice backyard, parking place in the house compound. I spent some time jog around the neighbourhood and it was beautiful with nice beach nearby. So far one of the best airbnb experience I have stayed. Thank you Karenn.

There are no steps to be negotiated to the apartment but there is a step of 20cm into the ensuite. We supply a complimentary Continental breakfast basket on arrival.     Our neighbourhood is right along a beautiful golden sand swimming beach. Lovely in summer or winter. There is also a bike path nearby with many trails to explore on foot or bicycle.

  • Carolyns Place is really lovely! The photos don't do it justice... the accomodation is A+, the garden which sits right outside the property is gorgeous, and the beach literally steps right up to their backyard. Some great restaurants in 10 min walking distance (2 Farm Girls, Le Feu, Nachos Cantina) including a couple homewares stores. I used her AirBnb for work as I had some interviews to do in Melbourne, but I could see how perfect her place would be for a tourist as well. Personally, I will be coming back in the future :-)

  • Cute little studio, private and just perfect for a single or couple. The bed was very comfortable (I had an amazing sleep!) and a great shower in the bathroom. This is located just outside the bedroom area via the outside decking. Very close by and the shower is very roomy but the rest of the bathroom area is very small and narrow. Fine for 1 person though and was sufficient for my needs. Small fridge outside was also suitable for myself and there were a lot of nice toughes such as Water Bottles, Muffins, Milk and even Tim Tams in the fridge as well as fresh apples in the room. It was a stinking hot day when I arrived but a new Cooler in the room was perfect. The location of the Unit was very handy to the Beach, Town Centre, Shops and the Cinema. Martin was also very helpful in assisting me with information on Melbourne Tolls.

Everything was pretty much as described but he didn;t tell us about the wonderful 'boulevard of bonsai plants' that we passed on the way to the unit. That was a wonderful sight on walking to & from the room. We were very comfortable & it was nice to have a few food items to access for breki. Everything was clean and comfy. Thanks!

We've been hosting for about 6 years now and love meeting new people to share storys and meals with. I only accept Females as this is my teenage daughters wish which I must respect.
    We have a relaxing and calm home and your room is perfect for relaxing or studying.
    It's a really quiet and safe neighbourhood here. The supermarket, other shops/ amenities, bus stop to Clayton Station and Monash Uni Clayton Campus is only 100 metre walk from our front door. Its a perfect location for students especially.

    This is a beautiful sunny and spacious apartment with a private en suit bathroom and a view of the pool and has its own private entrance and private kitchenette. If you wish to cook you can use the kitchen in the main house. There is free unlimited street parking right outside the apartment.
    The room is huge and very private. There are stairs to get to the apartment.
    We're in 3 minutes walk of cafe's, take away restaurants, bakery and convenient store. There is a park just around the corner and we are a 20 minute walk to the pub. You can take a 15 minute drive to either Brighton or Mordialloc beach.

    This three bedroom seaside home is situated in the peaceful suburb of Parkdale and is perfect for anyone looking for a quiet beachside escape or passing through for work while wanting to be near a gorgeous and clean beach. It is within a short train or car ride to Melbourne's CBD and outer suburbs, with a number of great cafes and restaurants around Parkdale, Mentone and Mordialloc all in walking distance, as well as the stunning Beaumaris, Mentone and Parkdale beaches, and just 5 minute drive to Westfield Southland Shopping Centre and the Royal Melbourne and Victoria Golf Courses, it is the perfect location for a stay to suit all needs. If you prefer to just relax at home, there is a courtyard with a 10 seater outside table, BBQ and umbrella all to enjoy. No heater or AC in the room. Washing machine available with detergent, pegs and hangers. Cloths line just out side your window. Located close to the princes highway, but hardly hear any noise. Two bus halts towards the city you get Sandown Park Hotel and similar distance towards Dandenong you get the Sandown Regency, with an authentic cafe. You can cook your own meal, but more suitable to re-heat something. Place has quick access to many suburbs like Springvale, Dandenong, Clayton (Monash Uni), Glen Waverly, and Mulgrave, but you must have your own car. Only one bus (route 800) serves this area and it’s a very poor service with no buses on Sundays or public holidays. In order to go to city by train you better go to Oakleigh station.

  • Clean, spacious place. I enjoyed my stay, it was quiet and had a lot of privacy. However, lack of instructions of how to enter the home with gate and keypad ( easily resolved with a phone call). Furthermore, considering they also host other rooms, there are no locks on room doors. However despite these minor flaws, would recommend

The townhouse is a part of beautiful Estate in Clayton South Known to be one of the most peaceful and beautiful area of the suburb.
    Being upstairs gives you your own privacy with a private bathroom with bath/shower. The lounge downstairs has a living area and a Dining. There is a kettle and some Crockery upstairs for your own use. To refresh yourself with some coffee or green tea. The separate bedroom as a queen size bed with plenty of hanging space in the wardrobe.

  • As good as expected. Nice spacious master room. Great hospitality. It was fun chatting away with them. Only minor complaint would be parking issue but the hosts can accommodate that comfortably, just have a chat with them. Money for value wise, there's nothing more I could ask for. Great job hosting the room!

    Catering for couples, singles and families, boasting two seperate bedrooms, living room, dining room, kitchen, bathroom & sunny backyard. Guests can relax in the backyard under the shade sail & have a BBQ. You're only ever a 5-10 minute stroll into town - where Mordialloc boasts a huge array of restaurants, cafes & speciality shops. The beach is a 15 minute walk. The city 30-45 minutes by train or car. The property has a dishwasher, clothes washer/dryer, wifi and two off street car spaces.
    Mordialloc is favourite location bayside, perfect for relaxing on the beach, watersports, bike riding, brunching at cafes, drinking at local bars and pubs, and eating out at fabulous restaurants. It’s a great base for day trips to Mornington Peninsula, Dandenongs, Phillip Island and exploring Melbourne.

  • Anita is a very responsible and kind person. We booked her place at the last minute and she organized everything for us perfectly including dropping off bread and milk for our breakfast. The apartment is very clean and spacious, it has a full kitchen with all sauces you will need to cook yourself a good meal . As for breakfast, there are cornflakes, oil butter, peanut butter, chocolate..... and more. We really enjoyed our stay.

  • We had a wonderful stay at Dimmy’s place. It’s a beautiful little apartment with everything you need to self-cater, and situated perfectly for the beach, railway station, and a one or two shops and cafes. We travelled with our infant daughter and the apartment was just perfect. There is private off-street parking and free on-road parking but with restrictions. The owners were very responsive - we had a couple of minor queries and they got back to us right away. We would thoroughly recommend this apartment.

  • Clean and quiet apartment on the top floor (up one flight of stairs from ground or 2 flights of stairs from the car park - no lift). Beach is at your doorstep and check in/out was super easy. Not recommended for very small children who still nap - the blinds in the bedrooms don’t block out much daylight and there is only a split system air con in the lounge so bedrooms get pretty hot during the day with the door closed. For anyone else, would highly recommend!
