  • We had a really lovely time! We loved the wood fired oven and cooked our first stonebaked pizza and steak. Relaxing on the hot tub was the best part of our stay, even our toddler enjoyed it! Highly recommended! x

An en-suite room in a 400 years old traditional English farm house, cosy and nice, breakfast included. Over 1000 excellent reviews! Long-term committed hosts, close to popular wedding venues like Lapstone, Charingworth Manor, Mickleton Hills Farm
Would you like to experience authentic rural England ? There is not a better location than an old Saxon hamlet originally listed in the Domesday Book in the picturesque rolling hills of the North Cotswolds. There is not a better place there than a room in our 17 century farm house with its original features - beamed ceilings, inglenook fireplace, AGA cooker. Our house imaginatively called 'The Old House', was built just after the chaos caused locally by the English Civil War in the second half of the seventeenth century. It has been updated a little since then though. This is a place for those who appreciate and respect the "old". This listing is for our Yellow Room with its own en-suite on a B&B basis. Please note this is a smaller room and if you like to a more spacious room with a bigger bed, check our other listing. Free parking and free Wi-Fi available.
Hidcote Boyce is a typical small cotswold village - it has not materially changed for the last three to four hundred years. This makes it relatively unique in a rapidly changing world.
  • A warm and welcoming home with fantastic hospitality from Konstantina and Tim. We very much enjoyed their company, delicious breakfast and impromptu waffles! A great location to explore the Cotswolds from. Would highly recommend!

    Vino2020-03-16T00:00:00Z
  • Google maps finds the house easily and parking is easy on the gravel next to the house. We had been visiting Hidcote gardens which are just round the corner within a mile or so. We had the best breakfast I’ve ever had in an Air BnB which more than made up for not having a kettle in our room. Many thanks!

  • Fantastic hosts and lovely room.

    Munish2020-03-02T00:00:00Z
  • Its a lovely old house situated in a very small hamlet with great views of the countryside. Nearby are 3 villages about 5 minutes drive where you’ll find pubs, supermarket etc. The room was large with an ensuite & very cosy for February weather. Breakfast was an added treat with all food groups. Ian is a nice chatty host. I would recommend a stay of at least 2 nights - great value & well situated to see all the beautiful villages & countryside.

    Gayle2020-02-26T00:00:00Z
  • Konstantina and Tim were lovely hosts. Both are warm, welcoming, and great conversationalists. The cottage is cosy, warm and full of character. The breakfasts served in the living room was perfect - Bulgarian sweet doughnuts, cheeses, cereals, tea and toast. They were quite flexible and accommodating, and also gave great recommendations on what to do in the area.

    Theba/Diego2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • The old house is special and and fool of atmosphere, located in a unique area. Konstantina & Tim are so nice. Highly recommended.

    Tally2020-01-31T00:00:00Z
  • We had a great stay, wish we were staying with them longer

    Eilis2020-01-17T00:00:00Z
  • The house was very cute and full of character maintaining its traditional style. It was spotlessly clean and the breakfast was delicious! Tim and Konstantina were very welcoming and helpful (Tim's to do tips were mostly appreciated). They were also kind enough to give us the bigger pink room despite having booked and paid for the smaller one. All in all, great stay and would happily recommend!

Hidcote Boyce near Chipping Campden, Gloucestershire, United Kingdom

Spacious Pet friendly accommodation set in fantastic Worcestershire countryside. With a lovely outer deck to enjoy the beautiful views and a drink at sunset. Has great walks on the doorstep yet close to amenities and motorway links and several lovely country pubs. Set apart from the house, the Studio is a private cosy hide away with amazing views: a great place to unwind and enjoy the peace, an extensive continental breakfast is included. The hosts are friendly and pets are made very welcome.
The studio is a private, large open plan space, set on the second floor of a detached annex, with a large window overlooking rolling countryside that extends as far as the Malvern Hills. It is comfortable, cosy and completely self contained and is separate from the main house so you will have complete privacy. It has a small kitchenette, with a kettle, fridge, freezer, toaster, microwave, a small cooker can also be made available. There are plenty of little extras waiting for you on arrival, including wherever possible a warm loaf of home made bread, as well as a selection of teas, filter coffee, orange juice, butter, home made jam, cereals, oats and seeds. In addition a basket of warm croissants, freshly laid boiled eggs and fruit will be delivered to your door in the morning when you are ready. Dinner or a full English Breakfast can be arranged on request. We can also arrange for Wine, Champagne or Chocolates to be in the room on arrival. There is a restful lounge area with a large flat screen TV and a desk. WIFI is available though the signal varies being in the countryside! There is outside seating on a deck that extends to the side of the studio, perfect for watching the sunset with a glass of wine. There is separate access and a large gravel driveway with secure parking for one or two cars. A washer dryer can be made available for guests booking stays of 3 days or more. Check in is at 3pm and check out is at 11am. An early check in or late checkout can be arranged in advance for an additional £10. Please just ask when booking and I’ll do what I can to accommodate you.
The studio is located on a bridal path, at the top of a hill overlooking a lovely sweeping valley. It’s in a perfect rural setting in a beautiful part of Worcestershire. There are some lovely walks right on your doorstep, and you’ll find copies of the OS public footpaths in the studio. Our closest village is Feckenham, a picturesque traditional English village, with a village green and several great pubs. There are several walking and riding routes, including the long-distance public footpath, The Monarch's Way, that passes about 1.5 miles east of the village. Most Importantly we are lucky to be close to a number of great country pubs; The Brook Inn is less than half a mile down the road, an easy walk and we supply a torch for the darker nights! In Feckenham, both the Rose and Crown and The Forest are a 5 minute drive, or a lovely 45 mins off road walk straight down the bridal path. A great way to spend a Saturday or Sunday afternoon, if we are around we will also arrange collection home afterwards! I can send you more details on all the pubs if you need them. Just down the road is The Jinny Ring (a lovely little craft village, great for afternoon tea & a mooch), and Hanbury Hall (National Trust Property). It is also ideally placed for visiting Ragley Hall, central Birmingham, Stratford upon Avon, The Malverns, Worcestershire or Warwick. The NEC is a 30 minute drive, an easy commute which we did every day when we were working. The accommodation is however, still close to several main motorways, M42/M5 and only a couple of miles from a town and large supermarkets.
  • Practically perfect! So many little touches that just make your stay in every way...

NEW JULY/AUGUST/SEPTEMBER RESERVATIONS FULLY REFUNDABLE - PLEASE ASK FOR DETAILS. Message to guest regarding COVID-19 Our properties are meticulously cleaned between visits and deep cleaned every month. However, because of the current situation, we have doubled up on this and are using bleach to clean every surface, in particular door handles, floors, kitchens and bathrooms. Generally there are more than 72 hours between bookings so this is helpful. When there isn’t this gap, we are deep cleaning. This means preparing the house may take longer than usual, so we hope our guests will appreciate that they may not be able to check in as early as normal or as has been previously agreed. We will continue to honour all our bookings. We are in a quiet rural and fairly isolated location, so the house is a refuge from the current situation! Our beautiful Cotswold Stone house is traditional designed but with contemporary interiors and facilities. Please contact Stephanie if the dates you want are not listed as available. The house has 6 spacious bedrooms, all ensuite, and all with stunning views. There is a comfortable sitting room with log fireplace and large TV. Also a large dining hall with long oak table and a fabulous kitchen with AGA and a circular dining table. All the rooms boast the most wonderful views over the surrounding countryside and all have french doors opening onto the terrace and garden. The house is open plan on the ground floor with the rooms flowing into each other with the dining hall in the centre. We now have a Hot Tub. This is suitable for 6 people. There is a £150 charge for the use of the tub so please ask for details. We also have a table tennis table, darts board and a croquet set so lots of fun things to do in the garden. The house is wonderful throughout the year, whether it is enjoying the sunshine in the summer months, or basking in the warmth of a log fire in the chilly winter. We love Christmas at Charingworth and the house will be festively decorated with Christmas trees, candles and decorations throughout December. Please abide by the house rules regarding noise. No amplifiers are permitted, unless by prior agreement. The house is also available for small weddings receptions and family events. We do not allow weddings with large marquees. We are very excited because we now have ultra fast internet , supposedly 300mbps but of course it's not quite as fast as that in reality. Still it is very fast especially for a rural location. The house has 6 good sized bedrooms and will comfortably accommodate 2 or more families, with comfortable fold up beds and sofa beds available in the bedrooms for children or adults. There is also a sofa bed in the sitting room. It is also suitable for larger number, of up to 24 people, who don't mind sharing bedrooms and bathrooms. The bedrooms are on 2 floors and all are a good size. All the beds are made up with high quality, white, high-thread cotton linen. Extra fold up beds or cots can be provided in any other the bedrooms - please just let me know and they'll be set up for you. Please note that for more than 12 guests there is a charge of £105/person capped at £420/night. So this means after 16 guests there are no extra charges. This covers the extra costs of setting the house up for larger numbers of guests. Soft white towels, complimentary shampoo, conditioner and bath and shower gel are provided in each bathroom. The terrace has outside lighting and an exterior power socket and a darts board. We have another holiday home next door, The Apple Barn (which is also listed on Airbnb) and are happy to discuss the hire of both properties together.
Charingworth is a quiet hamlet on the edge of Ebrington. There are fantastic walks nearby, a great local pub and lots to do nearby. The house is in the Cotswolds but also very close tonStratford upon Avon, Oxford and Warwick. The house is located in the middle of the Cotswold countryside. This is a rural location and the nearest village of Ebrington has a farm shop and a village pub. We always knew that our local pub, The Ebrington Arms, was special. Apparently The Times agrees. In 2017 it received the accolade of Best Village Inn and also listed it as one of the in the best summer pubs in the UK. In 2018 The Times again recognised it, by including it in their list of best 50 UK pubs. The pub is a short walk away in Ebrington. It's open all day and serves lunch and dinner (booking recommended) as well as snacks at other times. It also offers a very superior take-away fish and chips service. We are very lucky because we have several really good pubs nearby. The Churchill Arms in Paxford also has to get a special mention for excellent food and service. The chef/owner Nick Deverill-Smith, who used to be head chef at The Dean Street Townhouse (part of the Soho House Group) has appeared on Saturday Kitchen Live alongside Michel Roux. He and his excellent staff run a fantastic establishment. We are very excited to offer an exclusive menu at The Churchill to our guests, including a complimentary bottle of prosecco. Please contact Stephanie for details about how to book this offer. Menu details in the 'Other Things To Note' section. A new farm shop and cafe has recently opened in the nearby village. This is about 20 minutes walk from the house and close to the village pub. Vegetable Matters offers 'fresh local produce and a warm welcome'. There are general stores in Chipping Campden and Shipston-on-Stour which are both within 4 miles of the property. There is a Waitrose in Stratford-upon-Avon which is about 15 minutes drive away. Ideally you will need a car, although, if guests prefer not to drive. they can arrange supermarket deliveries from Waitrose, Sainsburys and Tesco. The house is surrounded by beautiful rural Cotswold countryside with many public footpaths, including The Cotswold Way. There are numerous Cotswold stone villages and towns nearby, including Chipping Campden, Broadway, Upper and Lower Slaughter and Stow-on-the-Wold. It is also close to Stratford-upon-Avon and an ideal location for visiting both the theatre and this historic town. Oxford and Blenheim Palace, in Woodstock, are also only a short drive away.

  • We couldn’t have asked for a better stay. Stephanie went above and beyond. She bought in some extra touches for our Halloween party, and even left us some Prosecco. The house was gorgeous, the view incredible. Stephanie also helped us find a catering company. Angela Winter and her team were exceptional and very good value for money-I would highly recommend hiring them for a 3 course meal. Victoria and Toby were also amazing bar tenders. No one was ever without a drink in their hand! The area was stunning, and Steph’s recommendation of the Ebenington arms was fab. The roast dinner was delicious. Overall a brilliant stay, very relaxed and a perfect venue. 10 out of 10. Thanks Steph x

We will continue to honour all our bookings. We are in a quiet rural and fairly isolated location, so the house is a refuge from the current situation! The Apple Barn is a recently converted farm building which was originally used to store fruit and vegetables. It combines the traditional features of stone and oak floors and beams, with contemporary fixtures and fittings. We are very excited because we now have ultra fast internet , supposedly 300mbps but of course it's not quite as fast as that in reality. Still, it is very fast especially for a rural location. The house can comfortably accommodate a large family or group of friends that don't mind sharing. There are plenty of extra beds available, but obviously the more beds you add, the more snug the accommodation becomes and the more people sharing the 3 bathrooms. There are 2 good sized ensuite bedrooms on the first floor and a further 2 -bedroom family suite with one ensuite bathroom on the second floor. PLEASE NOTE - these 2 bedrooms are conjoined so they make up one large space and are therefore ideal for a family or people that don't mind sharing. The first floor bedrooms have king sized beds (5 foot). Bedroom 1 has a king size bed and a single bed. There is also space in this room for an additional fold up bed. (2 extra beds if you don't mind very little space between beds). Bedroom 2 also has space for 2 additional fold up bed, but the space is snug with the extra beds in situ. The beds on the second floor are Queen (4ft 6") and four single beds. There is room in Bedroom 3 for an additional fold up bed and we have even managed to fit 2 extra beds in here, although it's a tight fit. There is a large double sofa bed in the sitting room. Cots and highchairs are also available. I'm happy for up 16 people plus infants and pets to stay and there is enough room to seat 16 in the dining room, but it will make the common areas more of a squeeze, especially in the winter when the garden will be less usable. There are enough beds for 16-18 but you should be aware that the accommodation would be very snug if you had that many people sharing the facilities. Please note that the second floor bedrooms are accessed via a spiral staircase so not suitable for those with mobility difficulties or very young children (see photo) The ground floor is open-plan with a large sitting room, kitchen and dining room. There is a large inglenook fireplace in the sitting room with log-burning stove, TV, DVD player, iPod connectable stereo (via aux cable or old style jack) and football table. The kitchen is well appointed with range cooker, fridge, microwave, dishwasher, breakfast bar. and Smart TV. The dining room has a long refectory table with seating for 16 people. There is also a utility room with washing machine, tumble dryer, freezer and downstairs cloakroom. All rooms are served by wireless broadband. There are two outside areas. At the front of the property there is a lawned area with terrace. To the side is a very private circular terrace with dining area and parasol. This is a particular sun trap and effectively creates an outdoor dining room in fine weather. We provide you with tea and coffee, salt and pepper, sugar and cooking oil. We also give you washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets, washing powder, fabric conditioner, foil, kitchen roll, clingfilm and loo rolls. At Christmas there will be a real Christmas tree and all winter there is a plentiful supply of logs for the wood burner. The bathrooms have towels and face cloths, soap, bath soak, shampoo and conditioner. There is also a hairdryer, iron and ironing board. We don't expect you to use it but there is a vacuum cleaner and some basic cleaning products. Please read the House Rules

  • The Apple Barn is such a sweet place to stay - full of local Cotswolds charm and cosy. We enjoyed a walk into Ebrington (including pub!) and the country air was most welcome! Stephanie was communicative and accommodating - very easy to deal with but also let us get on and enjoy our stay. We all had a wonderful weekend!

    Carly2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • The Apple Barn was a lovely venue for a hen do of 12 and perfect for what we wanted. Stephanie was extremely friendly and helpful and more than happy to offer tips on the area.

  • Great family vacation

    Steven2020-02-19T00:00:00Z
  • A lovely property - we really enjoyed our stay. The house was beautifully decorated, clean and was deceptively spacious. It managed to accommodate our extended family of ten adults, five children and three dogs - albeit with a bit of 'open plan' sleeping quarters upstairs. We especially liked the downstairs layout with an open plan lounge and kitchen and long dining table in a separate room which created a great space for our group to gather, talk, cook and eat together.

    Robert2020-02-02T00:00:00Z
  • The Apple Barn is very spacious with everything you need. Located not too far from pubs and visitor attractions. Stephanie was very helpful as our arrival was delayed and we were expecting a shopping delivery, she was very flexible and offered to bring our shopping in it go there before us (it didn't). All rooms are very clean.

  • The house is lovely! Exactly as it looks in the pictures, lots of space for everyone and loads of beautiful walks to do in the area. We had a great time!

  • Myself and a group of old school friends stayed at the Apple Barn recently, Stephanie was extremely helpful and made the whole process very smooth. The barn itself is beautiful and we were very comfortable, we walked to the local pub and enjoyed a fantastic meal. We hope to be back again next year.

Experience rural England in a 400 year old Farmhouse in the North Cotswolds, only 12 miles from Shakespeare's town. Large comfortable private room with en-suite shower. Over 1000 great reviews! Experienced hosts, close to popular wedding venues like Lapstone, Charingworth Manor, Mickleton Hills Farm
It has been updated a little since then though, so it will suit people who appreciate and respect the "old". This listing is for our largest bedroom, the 'Pink Bedroom' - pink rose not pink Barbie! It sleeps two in a king-size bed. The room has its own en-suite. The offer is on a B&B basis. There is free car parking on site. We also have the Yellow Room, which is smaller but also has a double bed and an en-suite. There is free wifi for catching up with news and updates on your own device. We can direct you to one of the many eating options less than 10 minutes’ drive away. We can also send you our local restaurant recommendations. From here you can access the beautiful North Cotswolds. In less than 20 minutes driving you can get to any of the following - Chipping Campden, Stow on the Wold, Bourton on the Water, Moreton in the Marsh, Upper and Lower Slaughter. In the other direction there is Shakespeare County of Warwickshire and Stratford on Avon, Warwick, Leamington Spa. Hidcote is about 15 minutes by car from Stratford where you can enjoy the theatre, the restaurants or just a lovely walk by the river. We have more than 100 fruit trees in the garden of different sorts. These include many varieties of apples, pears, plums, gages, sour and sweet cherries, quinces - these are quite reliable croppers and sometimes we may have apricots, peaches and figs but that depends very much on the weather each year. We are only 35 minutes away from Cheltenham, famous for amongst other things the horse racing festival held in March every year - including of course the Cheltenham Gold Cup.
Hidcote Boyce is a typical small Cotswold village - it has not materially changed for the last three to four hundred years. This makes it relatively unique in a rapidly changing world.
  • What a lovely place! Loved our stay in the pink room, very comfortable and clean. Thoughtful host who provided great local advice and a fantastic breakfast!

  • Charming! It is the best choice for those who seek peace and appreciate the history and experience of rural England with its preserved landscapes and customs. We stayed in the large room and were enchanted by the charm and warmth of the space. Everything clean, organized. The house is old and that is the best part! the care with the details of every place makes the stay part of the whole experience of this region. The internet signal is great in the region and even at night, with no lights on the roads, (this is normal inside) Google Maps worked perfectly. Great breakfast and very friendly and welcoming hosts. Go and live this experience!

  • The place is large, practical and comfortable for our 5 person family. Very close to Tesco, Aldi and Lidl. Sheng is a great host who corresponded with us in a very timely manner. Internet was great, unlimited data. Perfect for a family full of teenagers! The only small critique I have is the kitchen implements were a bit sparse but we were able to make it work. We had family meals everyday.

  • A very comfortable and beautiful home.

    Jayne2019-08-04T00:00:00Z
  • What a great host Diana is! We had some car mishap and arrived at her house in an AA truck with our car loaded on it. It was past midnight by the time we arrived and Diana stayed up texting us the entire time to see how we were doing. She even had a friend meet us at the start of the lane with a flashlight in hand to make sure we found our way to the address. Too bad our packed schedule did not allow us to stay in Alcester longer!

    Sandeep2019-08-03T00:00:00Z
  • Diana's place is quite remote, situated along a quiet rural lane on the outskirts of Alcester. The spacious room was immaculately clean, with an opulent on-suite bathroom. Diane was very helpful and although I only stayed one night, I was made to feel at home. I would honestly recommend this AirBnB as a nice place to stay.

    David2019-08-02T00:00:00Z
  • Diana’s house is very secluded and very peaceful, and a good night’s sleep is guaranteed. The accommodation is great value for money, and we would have no hesitation in recommending this place as an ideal place to stay with a perfect host.

  • The Inspector’s House is the perfect home-base to explore the beautiful Midlands in a rental car. We wandered historic Alcester, visited Warwick Castle, Bath, Stratford-upon-Avon, walked along the canals to see the narrow boats and took the GWR Railway (our favourite) to see the Cotswolds. The home is spacious enough that our party of four felt very comfortable. We appreciated thoughtful touches like throw blankets. Check in/out and communication were excellent and we highly recommend Paul’s place.

I HAVE ATTACHED A MAP PIN POINTING THE HOUSE.
    Home from home.
We are a 5/6 minute walk from the Alexandra Hospital. Just a 2 minute walk from the nearest bus stop, which can take you to everywhere across Redditch. We are in close proximity to the factories but far enough not to hear them. My home is on a ‘new’ (to redditch standard) housing estate. It’s close to all road networks, not far from the m42 junction 2 & 3. And the m5 isn’t to far either only 11 miles away. Locally we have an excellent bus service & taxi services are pretty cheap compared to the city. I can offer help with bus time tables etc. Locally 0.2 of a mile there is a little shopping centre, paper shop, take aways, pharmacy etc. But town is only a 5 minute drive away.

  • I was very sastisfied with the accomodation. I travelled on business and I got all the amenities that I needed. The house is located in a calm district, so there were not any problems with noisy traffic. I got a big bed so I slept perfectly. My room and bathroom were sparkling clean (I spotted that Ben ivests in good quality cleaning agents). I would like to add that Ben's offer was very competitive in comparison to other accomodation alternatives. Namely, the relationship between the standard offered a the price asked was very good.

A bright, spacious family home with a large living room and separate dining room. Enclosed back garden and parking space on the drive for two cars. The house is light airy and warm. • Our flight was delayed so we missed one full day at Pip’s place. But for the night we did spend there, it was quiet and perfect for what we needed. I would stay at Pip’s again.

    Lori2019-12-22T00:00:00Z
  • Pip’s house is a most acceptable, regular, good-sized house set in a development some 10 minutes walk and 2-3 minutes drive from the centre of the attractive town of Alcester. We were a party of two couples, one individual and an infant and the accommodation suited our needs perfectly. The infant was sufficiently settled that she slept through perfectly on both nights. All amenities listed are present and in good working order and are more than sufficient for a weekend stay. Pip was most efficient in her communication from the initial booking to the completion of our stay and left us (thank you) with tea, coffee and wine to get us started. We would be happy to return should we have a local event to attend in the future.

Set in the vale of Evesham, built in 1904, our beautiful home & garden, with many original features, is a perfect base for touring Cotswold villages, climbing the Malvern hills, visiting Stratford upon Avon or local National Trust houses. Poor local bus services but regular trains to Oxford & Paddington Station, London.
This single room is perfect for anyone visiting to work in the area. When the main guest room is NOT occupied the first floor shower room is for your designated use. When there are other guests, the ground floor Shower room will be for your use only.
Evesham is a market town located in a loop of the River Avon, around the remains of an ancient abbey. Once famous for its orchards and horticulture, it has a beautiful award winning park and lovely riverside walks and a broad selection of places to eat and spend an evening.
  • Lovely home, very welcoming host, comfortable room and bathroom right outside the door. Who needs more than that! Would be very happy to stay again. Thank you Caroline.

    Michelle2020-03-18T00:00:00Z
  • Caroline's place is lovely and so is Caroline herself! She was out when I arrived, but left detailed instructions on how to check in and everything was all ready for me. We met later that evening and had some great chats. Millie the whippet is very sweet and spent a lot of time curled up quietly on a couch. Everything was really tidy and clean and the bed was very comfortable, so I had a great sleep! Caroline's house is in a really great location, just a short walk up the street to the main town centre of Evesham.

    Bharathy2020-03-15T00:00:00Z
  • A lovely stay at Caroline’s place. She made me feel very welcome and made me a cup of tea as soon as I arrived. The room was lovely and the shower was fantastic. I’ll come back for sure.

  • Perfect place for a couple to get away from it all and explore all that Stratford upon Avon has to offer. The annex is charmingly cozy and Tommy and Abbey have clearly worked very hard maximizing the space available and making it a home from home. Couldn't ask for more!

  • The annexe was set in a lovely quiet location and easily found thanks to the directions from the host. We found it spotlessly clean and well equipped with some very thoughtful touches like tea, coffee, porridge and toiletries. The lovely fire was a welcome addition as it turned chilly in the evening. Check in was straight forward and a parking bay set aside for us. Would certainly look to stay again. Thank you for a lovely stay :-)

    Jo2020-03-22T00:00:00Z
  • A small but perfectly equipped space for a weekend away. The bed was very comfortable and there were some thoughtful little touches such as bowl and treats for the dog. Would definitely recommend.

    Claire2020-03-06T00:00:00Z
  • A very sweet annex, cleaned to a very high standard and with some nice little touches. The little fire heats up in no time and makes it very cosy in there. Hannah was quick at responding to messages and made the check in process all very easy with detailed instructions on how to reach the property, and having a lock box to make check in more flexible. We found the place great value for money and are hoping to return in the future. Highly recommended!

  • Monday 3rd February was my first stay at Shirley accommodation, I had some last minute cancellations with my plans but after checking in on my first day I felt as if I was at home. Shirley is very kind, friendly, made me feel so welcomed and then to see my room it felt just perfect. The room is well equipped, the king size bed was very comfortable. Even though I worked night shifts coming to her home in the morning is what I look forward to the most and having her make a lovely breakfast and catchup on how my nights been and what she has planned for the day is a good start to our morning. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed my stay with Shirley hence why I look forward to, staying with her more whilst I’m in Redditch. Definitely recommend staying at her accommodation. Thank you Shirley x

    Sharee2020-03-30T00:00:00Z
  • Fantastic host. Great hospitality, with some great local knowledge. Shirley has two rooms, a larger room which she had another guest in, but the ‘small room’ which I stayed in was massive so I’m guessing the other room is huge. Very comfortable bed. Bathroom was great with a good shower. Shirley provided shampoo which is great as I forgot mine. The kitchen has everything I needed to make my tea, great breakfast, excellent value!! Shirley is a great character & so lovely. I will definitely stay here if they send me to redditch again.

  • I spent 5 nights at Ashley’s place and it was just what I needed . Somewhere to make as a base to visit my husband in the local hospital - just right for one person . Ashley responded quickly when I had queries and is a cheerful, helpful host . If you want a silent Airbnb then maybe you should think again as the footstep of the busy family above the flat might be off putting but I found it strangely comforting ! Thanks to all Angie

The Barn is a cosy, detached property set in a rural location on the edge of a village. It is conveniently located for exploring Stratford upon Avon, Warwick, Cotswolds, Ragley Hall. It is surrounded by farmland with access to many beautiful footpaths. The Barn comprises of a kitchen and lounge/diner downstairs and 2 bedrooms and a shower room upstairs. There is private parking for 2 cars. Outside there is a patio area next to The Barn and a secluded patio at the bottom a large mature garden.
This detached converted barn is full of character and set in the grounds of a Victorian farm labourer's tithe cottage. It offers versatile accommodation for couples, families or people on business, being conveniently located for Birmingham and the NEC. There is a large mature garden where guests can unwind and on clear nights, we recommend star and satellite gazing due to the large expanse of sky an very little light pollution. We hope you enjoy this property as much as we do.
This is a quiet lane on the edge of a village. There are some wonderful walks on the doorstep. It is a tranquil spot with mainly the sound of buzzards, the munching of sheep and cattle, horses clopping by and at night, owls. In the summer evenings there are plenty of pipistrelle bats fluttering around catching insects. The nearest pub is 1 mile away and serves excellent food every day. The neighbouring village of Inkberrow lays claim to the Bulls Head pub, infamous for its association with the Radio 4 series 'The Archers'. A great, dog friendly pub where many locals spend a relaxing time discussing village and farming life.

Alcester is a lovely old Market Town, and well worth a visit. It has Roman origins, and there is a small Roman Alcester Heritage Centre that is open four days a week. The High Street has many cafes and pubs, and there are regular food festivals and other events throughout the year. There are numerous attractions to be found in Stratford-upon-Avon, which is just a 20 minute, 10 mile drive away. Coughton Court is a National Trust property, and can be found just 1.5 miles away (B49 5JA). It is an imposing Tudor house set in beautiful gardens, that played a part in the Gunpowder Plot of 1605. You can visit the house and gardens and there is also a shop and café. Warwick, and its historic castle, are just 16 miles and 25 minutes away. There are cinemas in both Redditch and Stratford. And of course, the Royal Shakespeare Theatre can be found in Stratford. The Cotswolds are just a short drive away, with Broadway 17 miles away, and Stow-on-the-Wold a further 10 miles.

Off road parking for one car. 10 minutes walk to Shakespeares house and train station.
It is situated in the heart of Stratford upon Avon but in a very quiet cul de sac, great for walking into town but avoiding the hussle and bussle of the town nightlife.

    Gary2020-03-13T00:00:00Z
  • Nikki's apartment is cosy and comfortable. The bed was very comfy and the facilities were great. Everything was clean and welcoming and the little touches with milk, tea, shower gel etc were very thoughtful. There was a slight issue on arrival with a blown fuse but it was all sorted within minutes. The location on the outskirts of town was perfect, it was lovely and quiet but town was only a short stroll away. I would thoroughly recommend Nikki's place and hope to stay there again myself in the future.

  • Amazing host lovely well equipped peaceful cottage 5 stars

    Josh2020-01-24T00:00:00Z
  • We arrived to the cottage which was lovely and cosy. It is very close to lots of the Shakespeare attractions and Warwick castle. The hot tub is right outside the cottage which means we could set up the baby monitor and go in there after our daughter had fallen asleep. The provision of a travel cot and high chair made life a lot easier and the cottage had everything we needed. The king bed is absolutely massive and very comfy. Some small issues with the hot tub were sorted very quickly and we were even allowed to check out a bit late at the last minute and offered assistance with our flat tyre. It is worth noting that the cottage is essentially one room so light and sound from the living areas can be seen/heard in the bedroom areas but this wasnt a problem for us. The TV has been upgraded since the photos were taken. We didnt hear a peep from the other cottages.

    Mary2020-01-05T00:00:00Z
  • Great stay over New Years with friends and family. Jane was accommodating and efficient. Would highly recommend this cottage . Very close to Stratford upon Avon town as well as a Tesco superstore. The hot tub was a bonus!
