Newly built cabin in 2020, with good standards. The cabin is west facing with plating so you can enjoy the view to the sea both outside and inside. The forest and the beach are only minutes away, so here you can choose either forest walks or nice walks by the coastal path, There are also good fishing possibilities, both right nearby or by driving to Jeløya or Larkollen. Partially newly renovated cabin for rent between Filtvet and Tofte, short way to the sea with parking space for two cars on the premises. Short walk to nice beaches and cliffs, and there are good opportunities for great walks along the coastal path or in nice hiking terrain. The cottage has several large terraces in different levels with barbecue and outdoor kitchen where you can make the evening dinner while enjoying the view.

Main cabin holds to bedrooms (one with a double bed and one with a single bed), living room, dining area (with a kitchen sofa that can be made in to a double bed) and kitchen. Second cabin is the bathroom and third cabin is a bedroom. Note: The third cabin is without electricity.

We stayed at Petter’s place for a family trip with 4 adults and a baby. It was a lovely and peaceful spot with some woodland walks nearby. It’s also only 15 minute drive to the coastal town of Holmestrand. They have a pig and two dogs and the farm adjacent has several horses. There is a lodger living downstairs who kept to herself. The house was clean and tidy and nicely decorated, as per the photos. We didn’t meet Petter but he had good communication and was flexible in allowing us to check out slightly later. Many thanks!

Nice host and house. A lot of space and all things like bed linen etc are there. Really happy with it :) Location is within a city, so it’s a bit noisy because of the cars. So if you like to sleep with the windows open, it could be that one would wake up a bit early.

It was a great location to experience the tranquil countryside (especially in the snow! 🤩) Our children loved sledging etc and it felt like a home from home as well as being a 45min drive from Oslo. Awesome apartment with everything you need and so on. Fully equipped kitchen with cutlery and crockery, drawers full of spices (and organic sugar!). Coffee maker ready to use (i.e. didn't have to buy with coffee). Should you get bored, there are both Jon Fosse and Jo Nesbø in the bookshelf - in addition to useful tour books, games and much more. The apartment is carefully decorated, you feel well taken care of. Free use of the pool was great. Free parking and super nice location. We will be back! A tip for other guests is to shop before you get to Holmsbu, as there is only one shop there.
