Right above the property is Kopåsbatteriet, a cannon position that participated in the protection of the German warship Blucher on April 9, 1940. Drøbak's oldest house, Thorsehuset from 1760, is located on the same property. The house is worthy of protection and safeguarded with extensive work.

It's about a 2-minute walk down to the beach, where you can swim, dive, and jump off the jetty, or enjoy a long, beautiful sandbar that the kids love. About 250 meters to the Kambo center, with access to a supermarket, clothing store, pharmacy and Asian sushi & wok restaurant. 15 minutes walk to Kambo train station where you can take a train to the capital Oslo, for about 35 minutes. 20 minutes walk to Kulpe beach for the fresh breeze!
