The accommodation was simply great – stylishly furnished, with a lot of attention to detail, and everything you could ask for was available. The place itself is a dream for nature lovers: absolute tranquility, beautiful landscapes and great hiking trails nearby. Whether in pouring rain or sunshine – with the right clothing, you can enjoy nature to the fullest. Afterwards, you can warm up wonderfully by the crackling fire. A special highlight for us was the hot pod – a cozy, heated bathtub with fantastic views of nature. Pure relaxation! Especially in the evening under the open sky, this is an unforgettable experience. Oslo is also easily accessible by car, and even the drive there is a real highlight. Ole was an excellent host – uncomplicated, very helpful and responds quickly. We even had the opportunity to meet him spontaneously. He then gave us great tips. Thank you Ole!

World-class location right on the very quiet lake in the middle of nature. The accommodation is original, yet very modern. No sewer available ;-). We liked it very much and the communication with Jaokim went smoothly. We can recommend this accommodation with a clear conscience and would be happy to come back.

Incredibly nice view, great terrace and outdoor living room. Delicious Jacuzzi, which we enjoyed in the evening. All in all, a very cozy cabin with an incredibly cozy location.☀️ The host was very helpful ☀️

Very nice cabin, perfect for a larger group. It would have been nice to have another bathroom, but with a little planning, 15 people and 1 bathroom worked out fine.

The stay was very nice, and the place was cozy and comfortable to be in. Everything was tidy and nice, and I felt welcome. There was admittedly a bit of a smell from the toilet when I entered, and the water pressure in the shower was quite weak. But all in all a good stay!

We had an amazing experience at the summer cabin in Hvitsten! The cabin is absolutely beautiful, in a perfect location that gave us peace and beautiful views. We, including our small family and dog, enjoyed ourselves for 4 nights and could not have been happier. The host was very easy to communicate with and responded quickly to our inquiries. When we experienced some challenges with wifi, it was sorted out right away, which we really appreciated. All in all a delightful stay and we are already looking forward to returning. Highly recommended!

I liked the tranquil winter cabin setting next to the water, and surely in the summer it would be more lively full of people on the water doing recreational holiday activities. I would definitely recommend it for either scenario very much so.

Beautiful house, well maintained and clean. Location off the beaten track but ideal for us, Oslo was quickly accessible, unfortunately there was no access to the lake or we found it. Would gladly come back

The cabin is situated in a lovely location. The space inside is spacious and comfortable for a group and baby. The access to kayaks and SUP made our stay very fun. The hosts were very proactive and welcoming. We had a wonderful time.

My dog and I have stayed with Vigdis and Geir for the second time, and it was just as nice as last time. Hospitable hosts who make you feel at home. My dog has made a new friend in the host's kind and uncomplicated dog, and they got to go together and enjoy the fenced garden. Highly recommended - I will book here again when I need accommodation in the area.

Wonderful cabin! It is a very cute house and I loved sleeping in the attic 🥺 It's a bit far away from the city but not a problem if you have a car. Beautiful area, the lake at sunset was gorgeous! Thank you for the great stay!

The cabin was a really cozy, and Liv Irene was super welcoming! It was the perfect escape from everyday life, just a quick drive from Fredrikstad.

We had a great time at Helene's place, and were also lucky with the weather. Couldn't get better.

There are no words for this little dream cabin! It’s just lovely !! Really private, the greatest view on the lake. The cabin is so lovely that we wished we had a hard time going back home :) Beatiful views from all of the windows and great interior design. Huge smart TV and a lovely fireplace to chilli in the evening! I had the impression that the house is actually twice as big as on the pictures. Breakfasts in the dining room with views of the lake and Dilingoya island will stay forever in our memories. The only minor downside is that the wardrobes in the main bedroom were not entirely available, as there were lots of lifevests etc. inside, but we didn't have much stuff anyways, so it was not a problem for us at all :)
