Monthly Rentals in Ruth

This cottage was the perfect quiet getaway for our wedding anniversary. It is comfy and cozy and we felt right at home. It had everything we needed to stay in and cook our meals. We couldn’t have asked for a better host. Thank you Joe, for making a wonderful weekend possible.

Family members from all over the country met here to enjoy time together. Some were still working remote and the WiFi worked well for them. We had all ages including a toddler. House is great newer construction & nobody heard the baby crying.

Andrew’s spot is nice for a quiet getaway. Myself, my brother and his son did a little golf trip in the thumb and it was a great place to hang out after rounds. Flat spots for yard games, fire pit. Home was really clean. Good decor but nothing felt in your way. Beds were fine. Bathrooms were great. Loved the quiet and the dark—the stars were great. Nice view of a farm behind house.

My family and I had a great stay at this location! The house was immaculate and spacious as described in the listing. They had a reference book nicely prepared with local recommendations and rules well written. The kitchens and bathrooms were well stocked with everything needed. There was also a gas grill and extra propane provided with lots of outdoor seating. We had a great time walking the beach and relaxing. A highlight was watching the freighters and boats pass by (which the owners had left binoculars for). We ventured up to the fishing dock in town to see the light house (great beach available there for swimming), farmers market in Port Austin was a short half hour drive, and Pointe aux Barques Maritime Museum and lighthouse. Many small town ice cream shops in the area as well. We would love a return trip to relax and would definitely recommend this listing for a low key relaxing vacation.
