*Completely remodeled in 2018, this cabin has 130 feet of direct frontage on the Snake River. Gorgeous wooded acreage gives privacy and the up north feeling, yet is less than 1 hour from Minneapolis, and 10 minutes from historic Pine City, a great place to shop and grab a bite to eat. Use our kayaks or tubes to float down to the St. Croix River, or hang a fishing line out and see what happens!
“We had a lovely stay. Enjoyed coffee in the hammock in the mornings (we didn’t know there was a hammock and that was such a plus), grilled out in the evenings, and campfires at night. We used the two kayaks and life vests available. They are in great shape! We began at the landing Tracy recommended (there is a little a turn off to get to the landing just before the bridge that leads you down to a perfect spot to put the kayaks in the water.. it’s easy to miss if your not familiar with the area but it’s there) Dont forget to bring your fishing gear because there is an awesome spot just down the steps to throw a line out and relax. We brought our own firewood (I recommend if you want a roaring fire) and had to gather some of our own because we ran out which was a fun little adventure. Definitely recommend this little spot.”

“Wonderful cabin right on the lake. The hot tub was perfect to relax in while watching the sunset over the lake. It has a screened in porch in addition to an uncovered deck, so you get the benefits of being able to be outside no matter the weather which was super nice! Breanna responded immediately to all my messages/questions and is very helpful! One thing to note is that if you want to check in early you need to pay a fee of $20-40 depending how early. It's not a deal breaker by any means, but just something to be aware of if you're hoping to check in earlier than the listed time. Overall amazing stay and we will definitely return!”
This is a beautiful river front vacation home about 70 minutes from the heart of the Twin Cities, that is decorated and designed with relaxation in mind. You can enjoyed the beautiful view of the river while you relax over a hot morning coffee, or as you sink into the overstuffed furniture with popcorn and a hot chocolate in the afternoon. All rentals come with a complimentary muffins for breakfast, coffee, tea and hot chocolate to enhance your experience.
“Sandy and Jim's property was everything you could have expected and more! Me, my 2-year old, and her father had a relaxing little getaway from the cities here! We had a bonfire just about every night and played yard games that were on hand for fun! We utilized the kitchen and cooked overnight with the fully stocked kitchen of supplies and watched movie. No wifi problems at all like some rural areas! My little one made "nature stew" and got a little muddy, so it was nice to be able to do a load of laundry in their laundry room! Overall it was such a pleasant experience!”
