The summer house for Öland lovers

The summer cottage is suitable for you who want to live quietly and comfortably in a small cottage with walking distance to a 24/7 shop, ice cream, pizzeria and cycling distance to a wonderful beach. The cottage is 21 m2, is on the plot of the host's house and has its own separate patio with space for chill and barbecue. In addition to the bedroom, there is a small living room with a kitchenette (fridge with a small freezer compartment, stove and microwave, coffee maker) and a sofa bed for two. Note that you clean yourself (cleaning supplies are available) and bring your own bedding and towels.

Gillsättra Gård

Take the opportunity to stay on a farm, in a fresh apartment/cabin, near grazing animals. This is suitable for those who like peace and quiet, and nature. Gillsättra is an old, charming row house village. In the middle of the island, close to everything. 6 km to the nearest beach. 11 km to the popular Bjärbybadet on the east side and 12 km to Färjestaden. Many nice opportunities for walks in nature. In the countryside, there are flies, cockerels that crow, and work being done on the farm. Smaller dogs are welcome; larger dogs will be too crowded in the small apartment.

Exceptional cottage next to the alvar

Right next to the Alvar in the small row village is this former emergency cottage next to our house on the farm. We also run the yarn shop "Sticka på alvar". In the spring, the orchids bloom richly here. Several interesting historical sites are within walking distance, such as Dröstarp's deserted village. We have hens, five cats and two dogs. The house is from 1899 but has all the modernities. Barbecue area outside. Here, it is quiet and peaceful. In Gårdby, about 2 km away, there is Eksgården, which is a first-class restaurant, as well as Gårdby café

Newly-built cottage in Runsten for rent 1-2-3 nights

Newly-built cottage in Spjuterum on eastern Öland. With 4 beds and its own small terrace. Rented for a maximum of 3 nights. The cottage has a fully-equipped kitchen, toilet with shower. Upper floor (quite steep stairs) with small double bed and sofa bed in the living room. Duvets and pillows are available, bring your own bed linens and towels. Final cleaning is done by the tenant before departure. Pet-free and smoke-free. The cottage is located on the plot next to our house. Located in the middle of Öland, perfect if you want to explore the whole island.

On the east coast of Öland, you will find the charming village of Runsten. Stay in a cozy farmhouse where there is room for the big family. At the back of the house, there is a private, secluded place for lovely barbecue evenings and relaxation. It is about 20 km to the ferry port and 30 km to Borgholm. We live about 4 km from Bjärbybadet, a nice and popular sandy beach. There are also many other beaches nearby. Welcome to Öland! One double bed and two rooms with single beds. Living room upstairs. Welcome to a cozy accommodation near Borgholm, Alvaret and Solliden. You will stay in a nice farmhouse on a shared plot. Alvaret is available within a ten-minute walk where Slottsruinen and Solliden are located. It is about 3 km to Borgholm's bustling city life. Bicycles are available to borrow. There is a bike path to town. The cottage is 16 m2 and the balcony 8 m2. The cottage has a fridge, microwave and kettle. Bathroom (toilet and bathtub) and access to water are available in the host's home with a separate entrance.

Peace and privacy in Norra Bäck, about 3 km from the eastern coastal road. In the centre of Öland, only 20 minutes from the Öland Bridge. Jöns-Lasses is a converted farm named after the carpenter and blacksmith Jöns Larsson. Much has been preserved since the 19th century. Now we rent out so that more people can enjoy this fantastic place. Large lush garden and courtyard and free access to the meadow next to the farm. A real time travel with historical details! Renovated charming farmhouse on Öland. The house is located on the eastern side of Öland in the village of Åkerby. This village is located along the eastern road but still secluded thanks to the garden. Proximity to the sea, Strandtorp or Bjärby-badet not more than a few kilometers away and only 15 km to the bridge and barely 30 km to Kalmar makes it suitable for many different day trips.

Only 20 minutes from the Öland bridge is this surrounded farm dating back to the 18th century. The sea glimpses 1.5 km east of the farm and lovely, child-friendly Bjärbybadet with sandy beach only 2.5 km away. It is 23 km to Borgholm and 35 km to Kalmar. Bedlinen and towels are included. You do the cleaning before you leave.
