Relax in the tranquility of nature on the shores of the clear-watered Kuontijärvi, close to Ruka's services. The cottage (40 sqm/two rooms + loft) is well equipped. The atmosphere is created by an open fireplace in the living room. Several great activities right from the front door: in winter, the Kuontivaara ski loop passes by, and in summer, the mountain biking route (Kouvervaara loop). The nearest grocery store is about 10 minutes by car (Ruka). The cottage is part of a housing association, with one semi-detached cottage and one cottage consisting of three apartments in the same yard.

In winter and spring, the well-maintained ski trails and snowmobile trails around Ruka can be accessed from the cottage yard.

Cottage completed in 2021 in Ruka, on top of Salmilammenvaara, with carport - a double bed in the bedroom - upstairs 2 single beds - travel crib for babies -sauna - washing machine with drying function - fireplace - fully-equipped kitchen - sheets and towels -Ruka village by car 6 km. Along the paddocks to Ruka 1.5 km. Excellent place to see the aurora borealis! The neighbor is building a house. The construction site is visible from the front yard, but not from inside the cottage.
