We had an absolutely phenomenal stay. The location was fantastic - peaceful, scenic, and a great base for exploring the area. The house was beautiful, spacious, and perfectly suited for our group of seven, with plenty of room for everyone to relax. The host was brilliant from start to finish. Easy to contact right from the point of booking. Instructions for finding the property were very clear, and they provided thoughtful local recommendations and some lovely insights into the property’s history. Communication was easy, and it was clear they genuinely cared about our stay. They kindly offered the use of a cot for the baby in our group, which was much appreciated. Overall, it was a wonderful, comfortable stay in a fantastic home. I’d love to visit again and highly recommend it to others.

Had a wonderful week at The Retreat. John’s directions and instructions were very clear. The accommodation was larger than expected and was well equipped. It was the perfect location for us to explore the surrounding area. The bottle of milk and wine in the fridge were much appreciated.

Second time stayed at the Hideaway Hut and still an absolute pleasure. Such a peaceful, private and quiet location surrounded by gorgeous views and nature. Great to see Jasper again and to meet Pearl. Lovely to walk around the local area and the RSPB woods. Watching the sunset over May Hill and reading/chilling in the hammock a must! All the amenities you need. Comfortable and cosy (though never stayed in the winter time). A perfect spot to relax and reflect and switch off a while. Highly recommend.

Such a lovely accommodation with everything we could’ve needed. Very clear instructions and detailed welcome pack. Brilliant friendly hosts who were very responsive to our questions and super helpful. We had a wonderful relaxing stay and would highly recommend to anyone. Very comfortable bed and sofa, lovely kitchen and bathroom and really nice peaceful garden. Thank you x
