Unwind at this unspoiled quiet, peaceful location in the Lake District national park. Our 17th century farm workers cottage has been renovated to provide modern accommodation whilst keeping its traditional character. 20 mins walk from the village of Ennerdale Bridge, with 2 excellent pubs & a cafe. Many walks and cycle routes from the cottage doorstep. Situated very close to Ennerdale Water & the C2C and wainwright coast to coast routes. Easy access to western fells and solway coast.

The Drey a boutique retreat 3 miles from Ennerdale

The Drey, by Blake View holidays, is a brand new space, converted from old stables. The Drey is so called because of it's cosy "drey like" space, ideal for two and as a nod to the red squirrels you may see during your stay. The Drey has a kingsize zip and link bed, extra large shower and a cosy living room/dining area with a full kitchen to relax after a day in the fells. Recently renovated quirky 2 bedroom miner's cottage, ideal for exploring the less well known Western Fells and glorious Cumbrian coastline. There is on street parking available in the layby across the road, and a private garden with dining area to the back of the property. Situated within walking distance of the award winning Ennerdale Craft Brewery serving locally brewed ales and home cooked food.

The Brook

The Brook is a luxury home on the fringe of the Lake District National Park between Cockermouth and Ennerdale Water. Benefitting from your own private hot tub, outdoor lounge area, separate BBQ and dining space. The Brook has everything you need for those Summer days. Or for those Cumbrian showers The Brook has high speed Wi-Fi, a kids corner complete with games and activities and complementary wine and local ale. The Brook has a lot to offer from romantic weekends away to family vacations.

You will have the house to yourselves - we will be far away, but contactable should you have any questions or issues. It's self check-in and check-out. There are many good and varied walks nearby, as well as scenic drives and gastro pubs. You will need to bring groceries with you - breakfast is not supplied.

This cosy first floor apartment overlooks a picturesque park, offering a relaxing base from which to explore. Whitehaven boasts some excellent visitor attractions, specialist shops, bars & restaurants which are all within easy walking distance, as is the marina - the official starting point for the C2C cycle tour. Ideally located to explore the beautiful Lake District.

It has a dog friendly beach, is great for fishing, has lots of wildlife and has the most stunning sunsets. In winter, enjoy cosy evenings with the fire lit. An ideal base for exploring the Western Lake District and Cumbrian Coast. It is surrounded by scenic walks and activities. It is close to St Bees coast to coast walk too. Come and explore the lesser known and much quieter part of the Lake District. No long traffic queues and parking is much easier. Superb views of the surrounding countryside, Irish Sea and the Lake District Mountains. This accommodation is fully equipped with everything you need to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. Ideally located for walking, mountain biking, kayaking, golf or walks on the beach all within a short drive.

Toddell Barn

Toddell Barn forms part of our traditional Lakeland longhouse farm, built in approximately 1710. Toddell Barn sits within approximately 7 acres of agricultural land that helps attract a wide variety of wildlife. Toddell Barn is located in the hamlet of Brandlingill (2 miles south of Cockermouth) and is within the northern boundary of The Lake District National Park, categorised as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2017.

Kirkland Cottage Ennerdale

A snug and welcoming small two bedroom cottage offering comfortable sleeping accommodation for up to four guests. Kirkland village sits on the edge of the Western Lake District boasting views over Ennerdale water and the surrounding fells. The cottage is situated on the main road through the village.
