The Old Shippon at New Ringstones Farm

Our stay was amazing. Such a quiet and secluded location and lovely pub down the road. One thing to note is make sure you read the instructions clearly to get there as we took a wrong turn down a road that was not for driving!

Primrose Cottage in the Peak District

Jo’s place was so cosy and comfortable! The cottage was beautifully furnished and spotlessly clean. A lovely welcome basket of grocery essentials greeted us and was just fabulous. Very quiet in the cottage and a delightful refuge to return to after a long day exploring.

An expansive view captures a historic mill complex surrounded by lush greenery. The architectural structure showcases industrial features, with tall windows and a prominent chimney. The nearby river flows gently, reflecting the surrounding landscape. Trees frame the scene, adding a natural element to the historic setting.

Spacious apartment. Two bedrooms, both en suite.

Ruth has an absolute treasure of a place , great location , spotlessly clean , very spacious . We couldn't have asked for any more . We was welcomed by Ruth and shown the apartment which was bigger than we thought . Everything we needed was there , including a lovely welcome pack of essentials which came in very handy indeed. All the information for the apartment and surrounding areas was beautifully presented including maps for local walks and restaurants. We can't recommend this place enough . If we ever return to the area we wouldn't hesitate to use Ruth's place again and would recommend to our friends too .

Provisions left exceeded normal expectations Some lovely extras which were very thoughtful. The bed was sooo comfortable which really helped my back. Property is near the end of cul de sac so minimal traffic yet very near the shops. An Aldi nr by but some good places to eat on the doorstep Really nice outdoor area with comfy seating. Just perfect for our needs. Would definitely love to return

Magpie's Perch

This is the best thought out small self-contained apartment we've ever stayed in. Everything we needed was there. Though it may get busy at peak times, we were able to stay in the free car park, a very short distance from the apartment. It was very clean, private and I can't think of a single thing that was missing. Hannah was really easy to communicate with . The location is first rate for being in the centre of Marple Bridge and we were able to get all over on the regular bus service. There was a nearby train station but we'd no need to use that.

Wicket Green Cottage

TracyRating, 5 stars3 days ago
Absolutely perfect, and we got to watch a women’s cricket match from the balcony, which was a lovely way to spend a summers evening. The village is quintessentially English, pretty little brook running through its centre, and under the balcony, a stones throw away there’s a well stocked village shop, couple of restaurants, and several pubs. Everything we met was helpful and friendly, exactly what we want when we travel. Ant was a great host, we had one of two minor questions like you do, which he quickly resolved.

Exceptionally large one bedroom Suite

CharlotteRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Wow wow wow! What an amazing place to stay. Beautifully historic but with a modern touch to it and so spacious! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend to family/friends. Jane was a very helpful host with offering recommendations on places to eat nearby too. Would really recommend The Swan Inn. The only downside is the 10am check out policy (we felt this was quite early).
