Thank you for a wonderful stay. We had such a great time at your place. It is so beautiful and peaceful right on the water. We loved bird watching from the deck!

The house was a great place to stay while we explored Rotorua. It was convenient to many of the tourist attractions we were seeing and the home was a peaceful place to come back to at the end of a busy day.

We had an amazing time at Carols place. The lakefront house is relaxing and peaceful. Will recommend for people looking for a cozy getaway but still close to town and shops.

We had a fantastic short stay. It was comfortable and had everything for a relaxing visit. Food was left for us which was a thoughtful touch and much appreciated. The views of the lake are stunning, it was the highlight. Highly recommended to anyone looking for a peaceful and welcoming place just outside the main centre.

An exceptional place to stay and the hosts have put so much time and effort into lots of details around the property. Couldn't recommend it more - it was an absolute stand out in our trip around Aotearoa New Zealand!

Danny's place is extremely high quality. It was warm and cozy and the bed was very comfortable. The views are beautiful. Highly recommended.

My family and I really enjoyed staying at Ricky & Kylie's place. This home was an ideal base to explore Rotorua from, and also to curl up on the couch when the rain was out of hand. We stayed for two nights, and if anything it'd have been nice to book for an extra day or three to thoroughly explore the area and to make use of the kayaks & the other amenities. Definite recommend.

The Loft was lovely to stay in. Very spacious, and allowed alot of fresh air to come through. location is walkable distance to eateries, and just across a lovely park where you can see the lake. check in was easy and the private car park is handy and easily accessible. thanks for the lovely stay Kirsten!

Great place to stay, incredible views every morning and very friendly host who made me feel very welcome. The home was very well furnished, the beds were extremely comfortable. I will remember this place very fondly and will hope to be back one day

Susie's loft is spacious and comfortable, and only 5 mins walk away from the lake. Smooth check in and out. Would love to stay again!

And the electric blanket was a blessing.” - says mum If you’re looking for a comfortable resting place with tasteful decor, luxurious & unique additions like a towel warmer rack, homemade jams, Netflix on tv, extra pillows & cushions, actually nice smelling bathroom products, a cookie jar & coffee machine, fruit from the garden if you’re lucky, filtered spring water every day, and a little lovely breakfast bar, look no further than Janey’s place. So many extras I hadn’t expected, Janey went above and beyond to accommodate my mum and myself with such warmth & kindness. Oh did I mention the water view from the rooms? Spectacular. We stayed 4 nights and loved coming back to being able to have dinner at home, even with a kitchenette, some extra cooking appliances from Janey helped, she was just so thoughtful! Thank you Janey, you made our trip with your hospitality. Highly recommend.

amazing place, so peaceful went down to lake , just 1min away and the kids got to hear the alarm for the firestation go off and watch the car race down to station was so exciting for them , unfortunately it was a drill I think so they didn't get to see the fire truck . such a togetherness vibe

We had a great stay at Joan’s place! It was so nice coming back to the spacious lounge room after a long day and relaxing on the big, comfy couches whilst watching the TV. The bed was super comfortable as well! Would definitely stay at Joan’s again if we were to return to Rotorua.

What a great, quiet, clean and comfortable place! All 4 of us loved our 3 nights stay - we will happily come back and stay here again next time that we are in Rotorua.

Staying at Lucy's was like being in a dream. The perfect, idyllic, lakeside Kiwi-bach, this place matches all descriptions and photos. This place has everything - from a cozy fireplace, to kayaks to explore the lake and a modern bathroom, our family absolutely enjoyed staying here. There was a lot to do and keep yourself entertained with, we didn't struggle with having no wifi. The location is great, only 30 minutes to Rotorua and a lot of places to sightsee on the way there. The only downside of this place is that since it's close to the road there is some traffic noise, especially when big trucks go by. It wasn't an issue for us when staying there since we're city dwellers and accompanied to traffic noise, but if you're a light sleeper definitely bring ear plugs.

Our family had a great week at Rob’s cottage in Rotorua. The location is perfect no matter what your plans are with great lake views. The cottage itself has everything you need and the welcome pack of local produce for staying a week was really appreciated and enjoyed. Rob clearly takes pride in the place, evident through the communications leading up to check in and the personal greeting and walk through of the cottage. We would absolutely stay again. Thanks Rob!!

This is the second time we have stayed at the lake house in Lake Tarawera, We couldn't recommend it enough! Such an awesome spot if you have a boat or jetskis , If not they have kayaks you are welcome to use. Playground is about a 3-5 minute walk for the kids, Tennis Court is right at your door step. All the neighbors are very friendly and make you feel right at home. If your thinking about booking don't think about it just book it you will have an amazing time!

We absolutely loved our stay at Kearu’s Nest. The beds were so comfortable, and the linen was beautiful. After a magical day on the lake, it was amazing to come home to an outdoor fire and relax in the spa. The birdlife was incredible, and the tūī birdsong made it even more special. With just a short walk to the lake, we made the most of early morning swims. We will definitely be back. Thank you for the wonderful hospitality, Ange and Dave!

Lovely place close to the lake and a quick drive to Rotorua. The patio was super fun to hang out and we loved the outdoor shower. We liked staying here!

Lovely place, beautiful views and jetty. Close to Okere Falls cafe for a lovely coffee and food. Would highly recommended

Dan's place is just a piece of paradise! Right in front of the lake, with private jetty and private ramp, away from the main road, totally safe for children. Highly recommend! Dan is very responsive and welcoming, makes you feel like home. Looking forward to return again!
