The Duisburg houseboat Lore in the heart of the city

Our small 13 meter long houseboat Lore is located in the inner harbor of Duisburg, 3 minutes from the city center in one of the trendiest areas of the city: the inner harbour. The Lore has two spacious bedrooms, a roof terrace with lounge furniture, a small covered terrace, a living room with a direct view of the water, a kitchen and of course a bathroom with shower and toilet. The Lore is winter festival and can be booked 365 days a year. We have had three boats in the harbor since 2025.

Vacations, trade fairs, business trips, small photo shoots (only on request), weekend getaways... Do you like the other, special things? Then we're on the same wavelength. The completely renovated Degenfabrik offers you an ambience that makes time run a little slower. Parking is available, 10 to 15 minutes to the city, various restaurants and shops, regional train connection. The sports facility is behind the house. In the same building we run an art gallery that can be visited.

The apartment is self-sufficient + separate from the main house. A private terrace or a private garden area belong to the apartment. Around the house are forests and fields, here you can walk or cycle on the Roman Lippe Route. The Ruhr area (Duisburg, Essen) is close. Supermarket, pizzeria + pharmacy are on site.

Several supermarkets, bakeries and an ice cream parlor are a 10-minute walk away. - Any kind of smoking is prohibited in the entire apartment. From Gladbeck you have a direct connection to the A2/A31/A52 highways.

The fully equipped attic apartment is located in a quiet 3-family house. A bus stop is about 5 minutes away. Public parking is available in the immediate vicinity. A supermarket is about 1.5 km away. From the train station about 3 km away, you can reach Düsseldorf in about 30 minutes. The apartment is supplied with electricity via a balcony power plant, so that the carbon footprint is significantly reduced.

If you want city life, you should choose another place to stay.
