House vacation rentals in Roseau

This is a truly special place. You’re right in the rainforest with everything you need. A one-of-a-kind bed and breakfast experience. Rain or shine, the pool was great, and being so close to World Heritage Emerald Pool, and the top restaurant, Zeb Zepis Bistro, was perfect. We had both cottages for our party of five - one is a one bedroom with separate living area, the other is a studio layout, and both have pools and an outdoor terrace overlooking the mountains. There were bugs, of course, but remarkably no bites.

The pictures do not do this place justice. Incredible views from all over the property, spacious and thoughtful kitchen and communal spaces, open and airy bedrooms with comfortable beds, and a wonderful little pool to soak throughout the day. You can tell this whole property has been a labor of love from many hands. Sherlon was super helpful and assisted however we needed, providing insight and local tastes. Thena was a good girl, not only well trained and friendly but a proper guard dog announcing anyone's arrival. We can't wait to go back and stay here, as it provided a welcome and restful break. We did learn that ordering groceries thru ShopDM should happen a little earlier as it took a few days (and certain stores only offer pickup on certain days) but the local grocery in Calibishie has most items you can get on the island. As anywhere on the island, the roads and getting around is plodding but we weren't in a hurry (just account for extra time).

We spent 5 days in Siboulu Lodge. It was just the break we needed. The apartment is in the rainforest, surrounded by lush vegetation. We spent hours on the porch just enjoying the forest view. The apt. was clean, quiet, and well stocked with spices, pans, and other needs for cooking. Cecile greeted us with a loaf of fresh bread upon arrival (yum!). We had been traveling for several hours and appreciated this treat. She gave us excellent tips for where to explore and how to get around. Make sure to read her guide before you arrive as she had answers for pretty much everything we could think of and this helped us settle in quickly. Her fur babies (Nori the dog and 2 cats) kept us company. We loved this! Another way the lodge felt like home. The apt. is in a good location and we were able to see all we hoped to see. Thank you for a lovely and peaceful visit!

This house is simply stunning. The views are the best we have ever had at any Airbnb. The outdoor patio and pool is a great place to spend some time. The rooms were all large and clean and had everything we needed. You can’t beat the views! The local town of Calibishie has some nice waterfront restaurants and a cool vibe. The surrounding area is amazing to explore, Batibou Bay is one of the most beautiful beaches we have been to. Felt like a castaway on a deserted island. The host was friendly and responsive and kindly allowed us a late checkout which was much easier with our two kids.

Jan and Pavla are excellent hosts and the apartment was spacious and lovely. I highly recommend the breakfast at $35 XCD ($13 USD). I highly recommend staying here.

There aren’t enough words to describe how special this experience was. Even with my delayed arrival, Trudy and Rudolf greeted me at the gate with open arms and made me feel instantly at home. Trudy stayed in touch throughout my visit, always making sure I had everything I needed. Her care and thoughtfulness made all the difference. The gardeners were kind, and every encounter on the property felt warm and genuine. Trudy, Rudolf, and Lieuwkje were the most wonderful hosts—they even took me on a series of beautiful garden tours. The home was even more stunning in person. Each morning, I enjoyed my coffee while watching hummingbirds flutter by. I saw countless rainbows from the balcony, and even the rain added to the magic—each day felt more peaceful than the last. It was hard to say goodbye, and I’m already looking forward to returning. Thank you, Trudy, Lieuwkje, and Rudolf, for making my stay unforgettable. I miss you already and can’t wait to come back.

Fantastic, spacious villa with beautifull view. Good location close to Roseau and all the attractions. Good kitchen, nice terrace and very comfortable beds. It is very private and quiet, I can highly recommend staying in this beautifull villa!

I had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb! The space was not only beautiful but thoughtfully and intentionally designed; every detail contributed to a relaxing and comfortable experience. It’s clear that the host put a lot of care into creating a welcoming environment. Highly recommended and would definitely stay again!

10/10 Experience – Highly Recommend! This property was the perfect choice for our week-long stay! It had everything we needed for our family/friend group, but the true highlight was the exceptional service from our host. He went above and beyond, offering fantastic recommendations for food, activities, and beaches—plus, he arranged taxis, which can be tricky on the island. When our airline lost our luggage, he stepped in to help us find clothes, toiletries, and medicine, even ensuring our bags were delivered right to the doorstep. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ This is true 5-star service! The booking was exactly as described, and we loved the AC, veranda views, fully stocked kitchen, private bathroom, TVs, and, most importantly, the incredible hospitality. We will absolutely be back!

Jina and her place were phenomenal. Way before we even arrived, she took meticulous care to ensure that every little thing was taken care of for us. She wanted us to feel like we were still at home and she totally accomplished that. My family and I would recommend anything hospitality related to Jina anytime and we recommend anyone to stay with her too. Thank you Jina and we're looking forward to seeing you again upon returning to Dominica!!!

They did a great job accommodating a relatively last-minute reservation. The house is just over a hill from the construction site for the new airport, so even though it's close you don't have any noise or ugly views. There are some restaurants/bars 10-15 minutes to the West in/near Calibishie. The best beach on the island (Batibou) is also close. However, other major sites are 45+ minutes away. It's a very quiet corner of Dominica.

We stayed at Lynette's place and were hosted by Sonia. Listing matches the images and description in every way. The neighborhood is quiet and Sonia answered any questions we may have had. The place is an 18 minute walk to downtown town where you will find all amenities. Recommended

We loved our week here! Sitting on the balcony listening to or watching the ocean, only feet from the waters edge was idyllic! The house has a beach hut vibe, and we loved the quirky aspects, such as washing up outside the window where the sink was mounted, and showering underneath the house- especially convenient for coming in sandy! Clarkey has put a stong fan in the mezzanine and we had no trouble sleeping, though during the day we didnt sit up there, as it does get hot. The house is well equipped, for two or three people, everything is very cosy- which we loved. I would not recommend this lovely place for small children or older people ( we are in our 60's- so not old!) as the stairs, inside and out, might be tricky- but fun for those of us who still have knees and balance! The parking space is very handy, though care must be taken as its close to the wall edge. We managed it! If, like us, you prefer something a little different, and love the sea, this is perfect!

This is hands-down one of the best, if not the best Airbnb I've ever had the pleasure of staying at: the house is gigantic, beautiful and very well-equipped (blender, grill, oven, cutlery, washing machine, etc), and the beds are extremely comfortable. It is located in a very quiet part of town, and it felt as if our only neighbors were cows and goats. As for Petter and Gemma, they were absolutely wonderful hosts: pleasant, very knowledgeable and extremely reactive, they've even helped us find a rental car in the nick of time when our initial plan fell through. I'm looking forward to staying at theirs again the next time I come to Dominica.

The area this airbnb is in took our breath away…the scenery from the front porch was truly surreal. We found the accommodations comfortable with nice/unique decor. The added touch of freshly picked bananas/ice and water and the offer for us to help ourselves to fresh grown produce in their garden was a pleasant surprise. Loved the location for proximity to what we needed. We hope to book again upon our next arrival in Dominica!! On a side note…host was responsive and welcoming.

David is very friendly and the house is spacious and peaceful. There were 6 of us and very comfortable. Second stay at David's place with two different groups, and all satisfied. Recommended. We'll be back of course

It was a lovely place with nice amenities and extremely helpful hosts. Susan and Joyce were very responsive, going above and beyond to provide helpful information about the location and the layout ahead of the stay to make sure it was convenient for our purposes. The house itself was secure and clean. Full air conditioning was very welcome given the heat and humidity, and the units cooled off each room quite quickly. Everything was prepared very nicely for us, from linens and soaps to general cleanliness. We rented the 4-bedroom unit, which is on the second floor above a 3-bedroom unit; they are both separated so we had a whole unit to ourselves, including separate entrances (after a shared driveway). Overall it was a very nice and friendly stay.

Annette and her husband were exceptional hosts! we loved every second of our stay and was made to feel like our home away from home. we must also mention the view from the balcony....it is unlike any other, absolutely breathtaking. Could not ask for a better view in the morning. They were quite helpful and accommodating and we're very happy we choose them. We will definitely be visiting again and would certainly recommend you do the same. thanks again Annette!

We enjoyed our stay at Paradise Hideaway. The location is close to the airport and convenient for an early morning flight. The multiple AC units and fans kept us cool and comfortable. We felt safe with the gated and secured access , and our host met at the property to give us instructions. The house is well appointed with all the modern convenience we needed. We would recommend a visit if you are in the area. Thanks!

We Had a great stay, the hosts were very friendly and always available to help. Checked in on us too to make sure we were okay and able to get around. Staying here was definitely one of the highlights of our trip.

Great stay. Very large apartment, ten minute walk to the beach. It's about 30 minutes by car from Roseau. Quiet and safe location. Janet is very friendly and helpful and left fruit and veg. I would stay again.
