Fantastic view. Hot water. AC in bedroom, washer, quiet neighborhood, pool. What more can you ask for? I recommend a car. but we are able to take public busses daily from close by. Harry and Tina were extremely helpful in all ways, including holding our bags after check out so we could enjoy it last day before the afternoon ferry.. Great stay, will stay here again.

I understand the practicality of not giving a 100 ✨️ but if I could if would be for this host. Julius was very friendly and accommodating. I appreciated that his values were family oriented for his house rules as it matched my family perfectly. Definitely perfect for children due to the importance of an alcohol and illicit substance free zone. Everything is labeled and you are always helped with having fresh linen replaced. I would definitely recommend making host's life easier by actually telling them what goes on in detail. They appreciate it! Very understanding, extremely informative and very kind. Everything about our stay was IMPECCABLE. Superior host.

Jacqueline is an available, attentive, very responsive host, full of good advice. The accommodation is spacious, very clean, good location and perfectly equipped. We had a great stay. Everything was perfect! I would highly recommend it!

This is a truly special place. You’re right in the rainforest with everything you need. A one-of-a-kind bed and breakfast experience. Rain or shine, the pool was great, and being so close to World Heritage Emerald Pool, and the top restaurant, Zeb Zepis Bistro, was perfect. We had both cottages for our party of five - one is a one bedroom with separate living area, the other is a studio layout, and both have pools and an outdoor terrace overlooking the mountains. There were bugs, of course, but remarkably no bites.

Lovely spacious apartment equipped with all modern utensils, appliances, furnishings one could need. Very responsive, flexible host. Great location, quick and easy access to Roseau. Excellent stay and highly recommend.

We have had the most wonderful stay with Jan and Pavla, they have been so nice to help with activities, lending snorkel gear, cooler bag and bananas from the garden. It's been a great experience, we'd love to go back and stay here.

We really enjoyed Cornell's home. It felt like our own slice of paradise. The view is amazing. The house was a bit hard to find, but we managed, would not want to try and find it in the dark. The area has some nice restaurants. Would definitely recommend staying at Cornell's.

Location Location. Access to transportation. Welcoming, homey, the kitchen was perfect for me. wonderful kind people. Great food.

We loved our stay at Jems Eco lodge! For sure an adventure we will never forget. If you love nature you will enjoy your stay so much. This accommodation has a really Cool concept and spirit. We strongly recommend!

We were hosted very well by Caroline and Steven, as well as their 2 dogs😉. The apartment was fully consistent with the photos with a large terrace with a magnificent 180° view of the Caribbean Sea... It was a very nice meeting, and despite the language barrier, we managed to exchange and have a great time together…Not only are Caroline and Steven very nice, but they served us as an interpreter when we returned the vehicle to Roseau which was of great help…. They are really adorable, and our stay in Dominica was a real pleasure, and by the discovery of this island and , by people so friendly and open to discussion!!! Thanks to them. 🙏

Beautiful home in a beautiful location. Truly outstanding! We had fabulous dinners at two places recommended by them. It's an easy walk into town. The perfect place to stay in Portsmouth. We'll be back.

Outstanding. From instructions and welcome provisions to a large immaculate 2 bed apartment with two sided balcony and great views. The large gardens create a tranquil space. Thoroughly recommended.

OMG…where to start? Isha was one of the best host I’ve encountered. With all my travels there has been only one other person I would say that about. As soon as I walked into the place I felt at home! It was so beautiful. So nicely decorated. Usually I feel the need to clean or at least spray lysol, but not there. The whole place was spotless. And matched the pictures perfectly! It was so quiet and peaceful there. The mattress was so comfortable. I used the local bus to get there and it was very easy to find. The checkin instructions were the best I’ve ever gotten, so easy to get in. There is a very nice restaurant and market, within 1-2 minutes walk. I didn’t walk to the beach because I did a day tour, but I understand there is a nice one within a short walk. If I find I need a stay in Calibishie, this is where I will be staying.

We loved staying for 3 weeks in this apartment. It is one level up with an amazing water view of the bay. You literally feel like if you reach out you could touch the water :-) We were spoiled during our stay as Hilma took care of anything & everything we needed. Simply put, she ended up feeling like family. The Lighthouse apartment was exceptionally clean and is beautifully decorated. Please note that if you’re a light sleeper you may want to bring earplugs. Without them the roosters and occasional barking dogs might disturb your sleep. That being said our family of 4 slept great there and we all loved this place. We are definitely looking forward to coming back to This Airbnb.

Perfect quiet location with beautiful views of the Caribbean Sea. The apartment is spacious, the rooms are nice, the kitchen is functional (only a worktop is missing a little for cooking...) The pool available is a real plus. In short, we will definitely come back to this well-located accommodation to go to the beach!

I’ve stayed here multiple times, and every visit has been exceptional. The place is always immaculate, and the host consistently maintains the highest standards. Communication is prompt and reliable. I highly recommend this spot, especially for anyone looking for a convenient and comfortable stay. It’s the perfect location for a quick trip spotless, cozy, and well kept.

Johnathan and Gilly were exceptional hosts; super friendly and welcoming. Gilly greeted us with a handwritten welcome card and was flexible with check-in/check-out. The house itself is stunningly clean, well-kept, and the kitchen is fully functional and equipped with everything you could possibly need— I especially appreciated the standing mixer! The fridge was generously stocked to help us settle in, including a bottle of wine, local snacks and dry goods. Each bedroom had fresh flowers, linens clean and fresh with TONS of closet and storage space. The bathrooms came with lovely local toiletries. Pool is well-maintained and perfect for evening swims. I appreciated the washer/dryer with laundry pods and the first aid kit which shows the kind of care the hosts put into every detail. The area is super peaceful even with neighbors nearby, very tranquil and private. I’m sad the stay was so short, but I’ll absolutely recommend to anyone visiting Dominica. I will be back. Very pleasant stay in a well located apartment, close enough to the center of Portsmouth, ideal for getting around by bus in the north of the island. Naome is friendly and friendly, and her instructions to arrive were very clear.

We had a wonderful stay at this airbnb. We were looking for somewhere towards the middle/bottom half of the island for part of our trip, but away from the busier Roseau, and this spot was perfect. Isabella is a wonderful host. She is proactive with communication, very welcoming and easily reachable. We had no problems during our stay here at all. We truly appreciated the water, fruit and little snacks she provided as well. AC works well, water pressure is good, bed was comfortable and lots of space in the airbnb. The views from the outdoor balcony porches are very nice! Also greatly appreciated having an easy side of the road parking space available for us. We always rent a vehicle when traveling, so this is nice to have. Thanks again!

I really enjoyed my stay with naome. Didn’t see her much due to me being out a lot of the time. When we did meet she was very friendly and helpful. The room itself was very pleasant and great value for money. I would highly recommend that if you’re in the area to stay at naomes you won’t regret it in the slightest.

This is in a really cool neighbourhood - a very narrow street, with kids and cats and dogs and roosters, chickens and goats and even a donkey at one point. The neighbours were friendly and helpful. There is a well-stocked convenience store a few streets over, and it is fairly close to restaurants, though probably not in close walking distance. Having a washer was great after days of hiking. Lots of amenities, incredibly quick response to questions, very comfortable beds, and an absolutely lovely view from the balcony. My travelling companion initially wanted a resort type of accommodation. Don't do it! This is the real thing. Recommended.
